■ Position the cardan joints over the shafts of
the taps of the hob. Slide the joint
approximately 10 mm over the shaft and
screw tight (see fig. 6).
■ Install the hob, screw the assembly clamps
tight. If the unit is constructed from thin
material use filling blocks.
■ Connect the hob to the gas supply and test
to ensure that there are no gas leaks.
■ Insert the plug of the hob (if present) into the
wall socket.
■ After having inserted the plug of the oven
into the wall socket, the oven can be
inserted two-thirds of the way into the
cupboard. Take care with the cardan joints;
lift these a little.
■ Slide the oven further into the cupboard so
that the cardan joints can be mounted on
the control panel. Pay attention to the
OFF position while doing so.
■ Assemble the spark switch:
– Remove the stopper from the control
panel.
– Mount the switch on the bracket.
– Screw the bracket with the switch to the
control panel.
■ Now slide the oven completely into the
cupboard and screw it tight. Assemble the
control knobs.
■ Replace the saucepan supports and the
burner caps.
■ After installation check that the appliance
and the burners are working properly; the
gas flames should be regular and stable
when full on and the burners should not go
out when turned to the lowest setting.
