Mounting the door panel
See fig. 8.
■ Remove the door (see page 9).
■ Lay the door panel on a flat underground
and position the metal door on the inside of
the door panel.
■ Screw 4 screws into the slotted holes (1).
■ Mount the door back on the cooker hood
and close the door.
■ Align the door with the kitchen cupboards
and tighten the 4 screws.
■ Take the door off again, to fit the other
screws.
■ Fit the door to the cooker hood.
Cooker hood with remote motor
This cooker hood can only be used in
combination with a mechanical ventilation
system, regardless of the brand of motor unit.
Control methods
There are two control methods:
■ The extraction is regulated with a switch
on the motor unit.
■ The motor unit is regulated with a switch
on the cooker hood.
The motor unit
The motor unit must be single phase (230 V-
50Hz) with various speeds. Whichever method
of extraction is selected, it must never be
possible to switch the motor unit off (see for
this only the motor unit manual). The various
possibilities are often given in terms of:
medium or day setting, high or cooking
setting.

- bipolar slide
- 4 or 10 contacts
- 2 or 4 stages
- push-on connector or solder
Wiring the canopy hood
Once you have decided on the control method
we advise you to draw up a wiring diagram
and then to wire the cooker hood accordingly.

INSTALLATION
General
This appliance should be connected to the
power supply by a recognized fitter who is
familiar with, and works according to the
correct safety regulations. This appliance
meets the European requirements CEE 89/336
EMC and CEE 73/23; 93/68 LVD.
Important that you know
■ If the cooker hood is to be fitted to an
existing duct no other appliances, such as
a geyser or heater, may be connected to
that same duct.
■ Consider local regulations with respect to
the ventilation of gas appliances!
■ The cooker hood should be mounted at
least 650 mm. above the hob.
■ The shorter the duct, and the fewer the
bends in it, the better the cooker hood will
work.
■ Before you start drilling check that there
are no installation cables present.
■ The diameter of the outlet flange is 125 mm,
a duct with the same diameter is best.
Mounting the cooker hood
Mounting the cooker hood to side panels
See fig. 7.
If you intend to mount the cooker hood to the
side panels of kitchen cupboards, drill the
mounting holes according to figure 7, or use
the enclosed stencil.
Mounting the cooker hood to the rear wall
See fig. 1.
■ Using the stencil, mark the position of the
holes to be drilled for the suspension and
for the duct.
■ Drill or cut out the hole for the duct.
■ Fix the brackets (12) to the wall with the
plugs and screws (13).
■ Mount the two brackets (10) to the top of
the hood with the screws (14).
■ Hang the hood on the wall brackets (12).
■ The height of the hood can be adjusted
with the screw (9).
■ The depth can be adjusted by unscrewing
the screws (14) and sliding the brackets
(10) out.
■ Adjust the cover (8) by unscrewing the
screws (7) a little.
