*1 “Auto” means the phone automatically changes the inserted SIM card language, dictated
by the language setting of the SIM card.
*2 Set the phone to automatically roam for a network or to search manually.
“Auto”: The phone automatically searches for the currently available network.
“Manual”: Depending on network situations the phone displays a list of networks that exist
in the current location, allowing you to manually select the desired network.
*3 When you change the PIN1 code, make sure that the PIN1 code request is set to “On”.
*4 All settings other than the following items can be reset to factory default:
– All SMS messages, service centre number, and validity period
– Stored contacts, FDN phonebook, and My number
– All call logs, Priority call settings, Call waiting, Call divert, and Call barring
