he ringer volume is turned off. Adjust ringer volume (page 17,
25).
R Do not disturb mode is turned on. Turn it off (page 30).
R If the handset is registered to multiple base units, the handset
may not be able to make or receive calls or communicate with
the base unit when the following conditions are met.
– Eco mode is set to “Eco Plus” (page 16).
– Base unit selection is set to “Auto” (page 27).
In this case, place the handset near the base unit, then press
MECON and select “Eco” or “Eco Off”. Repeat for each base
unit.
The base unit does not

Caller ID

R You must subscribe to a Caller ID service. Contact your phone
service provider for details.
R If your unit is connected to any additional telephone
equipment, remove and plug the unit directly into the wall jack.
R If you use a DSL/ADSL service, we recommend connecting a
DSL/ADSL filter between the base unit and the telephone line
jack. Contact your DSL/ADSL provider for details.
R Other telephone equipment may be interfering with this unit.
Disconnect the other equipment and try again.
Caller information is slow

o display.
R Depending on your phone service provider, the unit may
display the caller’s information at the 2nd ring or later. Set the
first ring to “Off” (page 25).
R Move closer to the base unit.
Time on the unit has

hifted.
R Incorrect time information from incoming Caller ID changes the
time. Set the time adjustment to “Manual” (off) (page 25).
The name stored in the

honebook is not fully
displayed while an outside
call is being received.
R Edit the phonebook entry name to fit in 1 line of text (page 20).
