The main duty for a router is to look for a best path for every data frame, and transfer this data
frame to a destination. So, it’s essential for the router to choose the best path, i.e. routing
arithmetic. In order to finish this function, many transferring paths, i.e. routing table, are saved
in the router, for choosing when needed.

Routing statyczny
The route previously configured by the network administrator is called a static route. Typically,
this route is determined at the time the network configuration and should not change when
you change the network structure.
When there are multiple routers on the network, then you must configure static routing. The
data pass through the router. You can use this feature to allow other IP users to access the
Internet through this device. Use caution when setting up. In most cases, dynamic routing is
recommended because it allows for automatic detection of physical changes to the network
through the router. If you want to use static routing make sure DHCP server is disabled.
Adres IP sieci docelowej – enter the destination address of the remote host, which will be used
for configuring the route.
Maska podsieci – enter subnet mask of the destination IP addresses based on above
destination.
Brama – enter the gateway IP address to which packets are forwarded.
Dodaj – click to add a route to the routing.
Click OK button, to apply and save your changes.
Click Anuluj button, to cancel your changes.
