Drying

Drying programme

The electronic sampling system continually checks the cur-

rent level of dryness of your laundry and automatically

stops the programme when it reaches the specified level

of dryness.

Select the programme for boil and coloured washing or

easy care fabrics from the programme table.

X Press the programme button.

z The control light for the selected programme lights up.

X For easy care fabrics,

select the additional «Easy care» function.

Mixed programme: 3 kg

Mixed items made of cotton and easy care fabrics can be

dried here. The laundry will be extra dry.

X Press the control button.

z The control light comes on.

z Programme duration around 65 minutes.

Time programme

The time programme can be used for drying individual

items or to finish drying fabrics with a low moisture con-

tent that have already been partially dried. The drying

time required depends on the type and amount of laun-

dry and how damp it is.

X Press the programme button.

z The time programme control light lights up and the

minimum drying time of 10 minutes is displayed.

X Select the drying time by repeatedly pressing the

button, up to a maximum of 150 minutes.

Wool Finish special programme: 3 kg

Special programme for machine washable wool or fabrics

containing wool. Preparation of the fabrics for drying.

The laundry is softer, but not dry. Take the laundry out

immediately after the programme ends and lay it out loo-

sely on a towel to dry.

X Press the programme button.

z The control light is illuminated.

z Programme duration approx. 5 minutes..

Express: 2 kg

Special programme for drying synthetic fabrics quickly,

e.g. sportswear made of synthetic or mixed fibres.

The laundry will be wardrobe dry.

X Press the control button.

z The control light comes on.

z Programme duration around 40 minutes.

Select additional functions

After the programme has been selected, the control lights

flash for the additional functions which can be added if

required.

X Press the desired function button(s)

(see additional functions, page 45).

z The control light(s) for the selected additional

function(s) light up.

Start programme

X Press the start button.

z The control light is illuminated and the programme

starts automatically.

If the child lock is activated:

X Hold the start button down and press the fast forward

button.

Programme progress / Programme status

X For electronic programmes, the dampness of the

laundry is continually monitored by an electronic sampling

system.

X The programme time remaining is displayed. This

remaining time is recalculated several times during drying,

so the effective programme end will therefore vary by a

few minutes.

X For time programmes, the time remaining to the end

of the programme is displayed.
