This mini chopper is not designed to take hard
ingredients such as coffee beans.
You can with the grinder:
. grind in seconds: coriander, pepper,
Cayenne pepper, dried apricots,....
. Quantity/Maximum time for dried apricots:
90 g / 4 sec.
MASHING/PRESSING/CRUSHING
(depending on model)
ACCESSORIES USED
- Bowl assembly (B), spindle (C) and
«Maxipress» (L)
FITTING THE ACCESSORY
- Check that the upper power outlet hood is
locked (A1).
- Place the bowl (B3) on the lower power outlet
(A3). Lock it into place using the handle.
- Take the pallet (L1)
- Place the required disc (L2) on to the pallet
(L1) then position the nut (L3) in the centre
and press down until it clicks into the locked
position.
- Place the spindle (C) on the bowl drive
- Slide the assembled disc/pallet on to the
spindle (C) aligning the 4 slots of the disc
with the 4 ribs of the bowl.
- Fit the 8 lugs of the crown (L4) in the 8 holes
of the disc (L2) and slightly turn the crown
anti-clockwise.
- Place the lid (B2) on the bowl then lock it
into place until it clicks.
USAGE AND PRACTICAL TIPS
- Insert the ingredients cut into chunks.
- Set the speed selector to “1” (A5) and switch
the On/Off button (A7) to start the appliance
or for greater control over the preparation
use the Pulse button (A6).
With the discs you can prepare:
. Large holes: purees/mashed (up to 1 kg of
cooked fruit or vegetables): potatoes,
carrots, cauliflower, apricots, peaches...
. Medium or small holes: fruit coulis (up to 500
g): tomatoes, grapes, strawberries,
raspberries, gooseberries...
CLEANING AND DISMANTLING THE «MAXIPRESS»
- Holding the handle of the bowl, turn the
crown (L4) clockwise and leave it in place.
- Remove the assembled disc/pallet/crown
using the (C).
- Remove the crown and rinse the assembly
under running water before dismantling.
- Take the pallet with one hand (L1) and hold
the nut (L3) with the other.
- Twist firmly to separate.
Cleaning
- Unplug the appliance.
- To make cleaning easier, quickly rinse the
accessories after use.
- Wash and dry the accessories (they are all
dishwasher safe except for the whisk drive
(F1)).
- If the accessories have become discoloured
by food (carrots, oranges...), rub gently with
a cloth dip in cooking oil, and then wash as
normal.
- Do not place the motor unit (A), nor the whisk
drive (F1) in or under running water. Wipe
them with a damp cloth.
Storage
Your Ovatio food processor has:
- a storage cage for accessories (O) which fits
inside the bowl assembly (B). You can store
the grating/slicing discs (E2), the disc holder
(E1), the metal blade (D1) and the spindle
(C).
- a cord storage facility under the motor unit,
to store or adjust the length of the power
cable.
What to do if your appliance
does not work?
- Check:
. the connection
. that the accessories are properly locked on
to the motor unit.
. that the lids are locked properly.
. when using the bowl assembly (B) that the
upper power outlet hood (A1) is locked.

  • Als ik de grote bak gebruik en alles volgens het boekje
    gedaan heb en wil mengen/mixen dan lekt alles onder de

    • hallo,

      ik heb hetzelfde probleem.
      Bij Handyman hebben ze een nieuwe ring besteld, maar bij nader inzien zeiden ze dat ze mij niet konden helpen. Men dacht aan slijtage, maar ik kan me daar helaas niets bij voorstellen.

      Ik zal nog eens proberen de fabrikant/dealer te bellen in de hoop dat zij een antwoord en oplossing voor dit probleem weten.

  • Mijn gebruiksaanwijzing ben ik ook kwijt en het was best even puzzelen, maar ik ben eruit gekomen. Het geheim zit in de deksel van de blender. Die moet eerst vergrendeld zijn voordat je de beker kunt installeren. Als de deksel vergrendeld is kun je de beker erop draaien en dan gewoon aanzetten.
