1. Set the iron temperature dial (B) and the steam output dial on the control panel (J) to Max.
2. Hang the garment on a hanger.
As the steam produced is very hot, never de-crease a garment while it is being worn but always
place the garment on a hanger.
3. With the iron held vertically and tilted slightly forwards, press intermittently on the steam control
button (A) while moving the iron from top to bottom.
7 - VERTICAL DE-CREASING
Our recommendations :
• When using the iron for the first time, or if you have not used the steam function for a few minutes:
press the steam control button (A) several times in a row, holding the iron away from your clothes.
This will get rid of any cold water that may be present in the steam circuit
Iron temperature dial setting (B) :
• Start with fabrics to be ironed at a low temperature (●) and finish with those which can handle
higher temperatures (●●● or Max).
• When ironing mixed fibre materials, set the ironing temperature for the most delicate fibre.
• When ironing woollen items, press the iron's steam control button (A) intermittently and do not
bring the iron into direct contact with the material
Steam output setting (J) :
• If you are ironing thick fabric, increase the steam output.
• If you are ironing at a low temperature, set the steam output to minimum.
Ironing Board
A mesh type (vented) ironing board must be used to allow any excess steam to escape.
• If you use starch, spray it onto the side opposite to the one you are ironing.
To get steam, press the steam control button (A).
The steam stops when you release the button.
For delicate fabrics (
●), press the steam control button very lightly (A) to avoid any drips.
6 - DRY IRONING
Put the boiler switch (L) on the "off" position.
- Keep the iron switch (K) on the "on" position.
- Set the iron temperature dial (B) according to the type of material to be ironed.
I nostri consigli :
Per tessuti diversi da lino e cotone, mantenere il ferro da stiro a qualche centimetro di distanza
per non rischiare di bruciare il tessuto.
Our recommendations :
For fabrics other than linen or cotton, keep the iron a few centimetres away in order not to burn
them.
