How waterproof is the Watersports case? (ie. how
deep can i go?)
The case has been tested to 5m when the WaterSports
Back is installed. It’s designed for surng, kayaking
and other sports where the primary video action is
above water. It will record under water, but is limited
to the amount of light available naturally down there.
Why can’t I get to the power button?
OutRide was initially designed to be as water-tight
as possible by limiting the places where water might
get in. Buttons are the most vulnerable as they have
moving parts, so we made the decision to only use
a single button to start and stop recording.
How do I answer the phone?
We recommend placing your iPhone in Airplane
Mode when recording so that incoming calls do not
stop your recording. If you’re really up for taking calls,
a bluetooth headset would be the way to go.
Can I listen to music?
OutRide’s headphone jack is safe inside the case.
If your day needs a soundtrack, you’ll need to run
a stereo bluetooth headset.
Do I really need to use this leash?
We highly recommend it. Our mounts are built to
hold, but we have no idea how hard you crash.
