Safety harness
CAUTION! Secure your baby with the safety harness in all circumstances.
The car seat harness must be adjusted to the size of your child. The shoulder harnesses can
be adjusted to 2 different heights, and should be run through the nearest button holes to
your child’s shoulders.
Pass the straps through the slots in the cushion, cover, and shell (2) (3) (4). Reposition the
straps at the required height by reversing the above procedure and make sure you use the
same slots for both the shell and the cover. Ensure the harness straps are not twisted.
• To loosen the harness: Press the adjuster at the front of the car seat between the child’s
legs and pull on the shoulder harnesses simultaneously (5).
• To tighten the harness: Simply pull on the adjustment strap at the front of the car seat
(6).
Installing the child in the Car Seat
Open the harness by pressing on the red button in the centre of the buckle. Position your
child in the car seat, ensuring that their back is resting correctly against the back of the car
seat.
Bring the two ends of the straps together and fasten the harness buckle (7) (8). You should
hear it ‘click’. Tighten the harness by pulling on the adjustment strap until the straps are
tight enough.
CAUTION! A well-adjusted harness actively contributes to the best possible protection
of your child. You should only be able to fit one finger between the harness and the
child’s body.
