spare wheel briey.
#Do not deactivate ESP®.
#Have the emergency spare wheel or
spare wheel of a dierent size replaced
at the nearest qualied specialist work-
shop. The new wheel must have the cor-
rect dimensions.
Observe thefollowing notes on installing an emer-
gency spare wheel:
RThe maximum permissible speed with an
emergency spare wheel installed is 50 mph
(80 km/h).
RDo not equip the emergency spare wheel with
snow chains.
RReplace the emergency spare wheel aer six
years at the latest, regardless of wear.
RUse the wheel bolts that are included with the
emergency spare wheel.

Specied tighttightening tening torqorque:ue: 96 lb- (130 Nm)
RCheck the tire pressure of the emergency
spare wheel installed. Correct the pressure as
necessary.

label of the emergency spare wheel.

ttem:em: If an emergency spare wheel is installed,
the tire pressure monitoring system cannot
function reliably. For a few minutes aer an
emergency spare wheel is installed, the sys-
tem may still display the tire pressure of the
removed wheel. Only restart the system again
when the emergency spare wheel has been
replaced with a new wheel.
