RRear wheels wear more in the center of the
tire
Do not drive with tires that have too little tread
depth. This signicantly reduces traction on wet
roads (hydroplaning).
On vehicles that have the same size front and rear
wheels, rotate the wheels according to the inter-
vals in the tire manufacturer's warranty book in
your vehicle documents. If this is not available,
rotate the tires every 3,000 to 6,000 miles
(5,000 to 10,000 km), depending on thewear.
Ensure that the direction of rotation is main-
tained.

When storing wheels, observe thefollowing notes:
RAer removing wheels, store them in a cool,
dry and preferably dark place.
RProtect the tires from contact with oil, grease
or fuel.

Apart from some country-specic variants, vehi-
cles are not equipped with a tire-change tool kit.
For more information on which tire-changing tools
are required and approvedfor performing a wheel
change on your vehicle, consult a qualied spe-
cialist workshop.
