Normal use of the appliance

incorrect use or handling (see also

• Fordomesticuseonly.Notforoutdoor
or commercial use.
• Forconnectionto230V,50Hzonly.
• Useonlyaccompanyingaccessories
or those recommended by the
manufacturer.
• Donotsubmergeinwateroranyother
liquid.
• Keeptheapplianceunderconstant
supervisionwhileinuse.Keepaneye
on children.
• Alwaysplacetheapplianceonalevel,
stable surface safely away from the
edge of the counter or table.
• Onlyturnontheappliancewhen:
o The plastic bowl is in place
o The plastic bowl contains foodstuffs
or liquid
o One of the two blades and the lid
arettedcorrectly.
• Theapplianceisequippedwithasafety
switch, which automatically cuts off
the power to the motor if the lid is not
correctlytted.
• Neverpourboilingliquidsorextremely
hot foodstuffs into the plastic bowl.
Make sure that any foodstuffs or liquids
are not too hot or cold to handle.
• Donotusetheplasticbowlorthelidsif
they are damaged in any way.
• Neverputtoolsoryourhandsintothe
bowl while the appliance is turned on.
Please note that the blade may still
rotate for a while after you switch the
appliance off.
• Becarefulnottotouchthesharp
edges of the blades when cleaning or
assembling the appliance.
Cord, plug and mains socket
• Donotallowthecordtohangover
the edge of a table/counter, and keep
itawayfromhotobjectsandthehot
surfaces of the appliance.
• Checkthatitisnotpossibletopullor
trip over the cord or any extension cord.
• Removetheplugfromthesocketwhen
cleaning,orwhennotinuse.Avoid
pulling the cord when removing the
plug from the socket. Instead, hold the
plug.
• Thecordmustnotbetwistedorwound
around the apparatus.
• Checkregularlythatneitherthecord
nor plug is damaged and do not use if
there is any damage, or if it has been
droppedontheoor,droppedinwater
or damaged in any other way.
• Iftheapparatusorplugisdamaged,
it must be inspected and if necessary,
repaired by an authorised repair
engineer, otherwise there is a risk of
electricshock.Nevertrytorepairthe
appliance yourself. Please contact
the store where you bought the
apparatus for repairs under guarantee.
Unauthorisedrepairsormodications
will invalidate the guarantee.
