PREPARING THE APPLIANCE
• Removeallpackagingandtransport
materials from the inside and outside of the
appliance.
• Checkthattheappliancehasnovisible
damage and that no parts are missing.
• Checkthatthedustcontainer(13)andthe
lter(7)havebeencorrectlytted.
• Forsafetyreasons,thebatteryisonly
partially charged when the appliance leaves
thefactory.Therefore,youmustalways
start by charging the battery fully. Charge
the appliance for at least 14 hours before
rstuse.
Mounting the charging station on the
wall
• Mountthechargingstation(9)onthewall
on a stable, clean and dry surface.
• Useonlythescrewssuppliedtogetherwith
the appliance.
• Donotmountthechargingstationinthe
immediate vicinity of heat sources or
containers with water.
• Whenmountedinthecorrectposition,the
charging station should allow the appliance
to hang with the dust container facing
downwards.
Battery charging
1. Plug the adapter (10) into a wall socket and
place the appliance in the charging station.
o Thechargingindicator(3)ontheappliance
shows red when the appliance is correctly
positioned in the charging station and the
power is on.
2. Check that the appliance is switched off.
3. Leavethebatterytofullycharge–approx.
14 hours. When the appliance has been
fully charged a couple of times, it is
sufcienttochargeitforaminimumoftwo
hours.
4. Taketheadaptoroutofthesocketafter
charging.
NOTE!
• Thebatterybecomeshotduringcharging–
this is perfectly normal.
• Thebatteryreachesitsfullcapacityonceit
has been recharged 2–3 times.
