1 Safety Information
• Do not use the massage device on parts of the body that are
numb or insensitive to heat, pressure or pain, or only do so after
proper consultation with your doctor.
• Never use the device where there is unexplained pain in the
stomach or calves.
• If you feel any pain from use of this device, or find the massage
unpleasant, stop the treatment and consult your doctor.
concerning operation
• Check the device and its power cord carefully for any damage
before each use. The device should not be used if it is in any way
defective.
• Do not use the device if there is any visible damage to the device
itself or to the power cord, if the device is not working flawlessly
or if it has been dropped or has fallen into water.
• If the power supply cable is damaged, it may only be replaced by
MEDISANA, an authorised dealer or by qualified personnel. In
order to prevent hazards, always send the unit in to the service
centre.
• The device is intended for private use only and should not be
employed for commercial purposes.
• Use the massage device only for the purpose specified in the
instructions for use.
• The guarantee is invalidated if the device is misused.
• While using the red light function, do not place the massager on
the same part of the body for too long (max. 1 minute), as this could
cause skin rashes or burns.
• Keep the device away from rain and damp. It should not be
operated out doors.
• It is vital to avoid placing, using or storing the device above
containers holding liquids, particularly where the device could fall
or be knocked into a bathtub or shower tray.
• Do not use the device whilst in the bath or the shower.
• Do not use the device underneath bedding or cushions. Under
no circumstances should you cover the device during use.
Overheating may lead to burns, electric shock or personal
injuries.
