Before use, ensure that the unit is suited to the local mains power supply.
Unplug the unit from the mains by pulling on the plug and not on the power cord.
As long as the unit is plugged into a wall power outlet it is connected to the mains power even if it is switched off.

Preparation prior to use

When the remote control operates erratically or its range is reduced, replace the batteries.
Using the remote control
To use the remote control, point it towards the sensor and softly but firmly press the buttons. The remote control will operate up to a range of
approximately six meters. This range is however reduced when the remote control is offset in relation to the sensor on the appliance. To enjoy
maximum remote control range, place yourself in line with this sensor.
Never expose the sensor to strong light (direct sunlight or artificial lighting) and eliminate all obstacles between the sensor and the remote control.

CONNECTING THE SPEAKERS
Connect the speakers to the red and black terminals on the back of the unit as described here. Connect the R terminals to the right hand speaker and
the L terminals to the left hand speaker. Lower the red or black tab, insert the speaker cable, then release the tab to hold the cable in place.
MAINS CONNECTION
Make sure that all of the components and the speakers are connected correctly.
Check that the voltage level required by your equipment matches the local mains supply, namely 230 VAC - 50 Hz.
Plug the unit into the wall outlet.
HEADPHONES
Make sure that your headphones have a 3.5 mm stereo jack and an operating impedance of 8-32 ohms. The speakers are automatically switched off
when headphones are connected.
LISTENING TO THE RADIO
Select the RADIO mode.
Choose the radio ware band (AM, FM or FM ST) using the BAND selector.
Search for the station of your choice using the Tuning knob.
To switch off the radio, select the CD mode or press the On/Off button.
NOTE: For optimum FM radio reception, extend the FM antenna wire. For AM radio reception, a ferrite antenna built into the unit is used. To
improve reception quality, rotate the unit.
When FM stereo signals are too weak or when the background noise level is too great, we recommend selecting the FM (mono) band.
PLAYING A COMPACT DISC
Select the CD mode.
Press the CD player open button, place a disc in the centre of the tray, and label side up, then slowly close the cover.
The display shows the number of tracks.
Press PLAY once the CD is inserted to start playing the first track.
To pause play, press the PLAY/PAUSE button. To resume play, press the PLAY/PAUSE button again.
To stop playing the CD, press the STOP button.
SELECTING A TRACK IN STOP MODE
Press SKIP/SEARCH Up or Down until the required track number is displayed.
Press PLAY/PAUSE to start playing the selected track. The LCD display shows the selected track number.
You can move to the next track by pressing the SKIP Up button. Play moves forward by one track every time the SKIP Up button is pressed.
When you press the SKIP Down button in Play mode, you go back to the start of the current track. If you press this button more than once,
every time you press it, you move back by a track.
SEARCHING FOR A SPECIFIC PASSAGE
During Play, hold the SKIP Up/Down button to fast forward or reverse the track until you reach a specific passage you wish to hear. Playback is
speeded up and the volume reduced. Playback returns to normal once the SKIP Up/Down button is released.
PROGRAMMING TRACKS
You can program up to 20 tracks in any order.
Select the CD function.
Press the PROG button.
Press the SKIP Up/Down button to select the track number you wish to add to your programming.
Once you have selected the track number of your choice, press the PROG button.
Repeat steps 2 to 4 to add more tracks.
Once all of the tracks you wish to hear have been programmed, press the PLAY/PAUSE button to start playing the programmed selection.
Play starts from the beginning of the first track programmed.
The programming stored in memory is cleared when you select the Radio function or when you switch off the unit.
MODE BUTTON ( REMOTE CONTROL ONLY)
To repeat one or all tracks, press the MODE button before or during play. Press the MODE button once to repeat only the track currently being played,
press this same button twice to repeat the entire CD and three times to select the Random mode. Press this button once again to return to the normal

Voorbereiding voor gebruik

De afstandsbediening gebruiken
Om de afstandsbediening te gebruiken, richt u het op de sensor en drukt u voorzichtig, maar stevig op de toetsen. De afstandsbediening zal werkzaam
zijn binnen een bereik van ca. 6 meter. Dit bereik wordt echter verminderd wanneer de afstandsbediening niet rechtstreeks op de sensor gericht is. Zit
recht tegenover de sensor op het apparaat, als u gebruik wenst te maken van het maximale bereik van de afstandsbediening.
Stel de sensor niet bloot aan fel licht (direct zonlicht of kunstmatig licht) en verwijder alle obstakels tussen de sensor en afstandsbediening.

DE LUIDSPREKERS AANSLUITEN
Sluit de luidsprekers als volgt aan op de rode en zwarte klemmen aan de achterkant van het apparaat: Verbind de R klemmen met de rechter
luidspreker en de L klemmen met de linker luidspreker. Druk het rode of zwarte palletje omlaag, steek het luidsprekersnoer erin en laat vervolgens het
palletje los om de kabel op zijn plaats te houden.
AANSLUITEN OP HET STOPCONTACT
Zorg ervoor dat alle onderdelen en de luidsprekers correct zijn aangesloten.
Controleer of het spanningsniveau vereist door uw apparatuur overeenkomt met het lokale spanningsnetwerk, namelijk 230 VAC - 50 Hz.
Steek de stekker in het stopcontact.
HOOFDTELEFOON
Zorg ervoor dat u hoofdtelefoon een 3,5mm stereo stekker heeft en een impedantie van 8-32 ohm. Zodra u de hoofdtelefoon aansluit, worden de
luidsprekers automatisch uitgeschakeld.

NAAR DE RADIO LUISTEREN
Selecteer de RADIO modus.
Selecteer de radiogolflengte (AM, FM of FM ST) met de BAND keuzeschakelaar.
Zoek naar het gewenste station met de Afstemregeling.
Selecteer de CD modus of druk op de Aan/Uit toets om de radio uit te schakelen.
OPMERKING: Verleng de FM antennedraad voor de beste FM radio-ontvangst. Het apparaat gebruikt een ingebouwde ferrietantenne voor AM
radio-ontvangst. Draai het apparaat om de ontvangstkwaliteit te verbeteren.
Wanneer FM stereo signalen te zwak zijn of wanneer ruis op de achtergrond te luid is, raden wij aan de FM (mono) golflengte te selecteren.
EEN COMPACT DISK AFSPELEN
Selecteer de CD modus.
Druk op de opentoets van de CD-speler, plaats een disk in het midden van de houder met de bedrukte zijde omhoog en sluit dan voorzichtig
de houder.
De display zal het aantal tracks weergeven.
Druk eenmaal op PLAY nadat de CD geladen is om de eerste track af te spelen.
Druk op de PLAY/PAUSE toets om het afspelen te pauzeren. Druk nogmaals op de PLAY/PAUSE toets om het afspelen te hervatten.
Druk op de STOP toets om het afspelen van de CD te stoppen.
EEN TRACK SELECTEREN IN STOPMODUS
Druk op SKIP/SEARCH Omhoog of Omlaag totdat het gewenste tracknummer wordt aangegeven.
Druk op PLAY/PAUSE om de geselecteerde track af te spelen. De LCD display geeft het geselecteerde tracknummer aan.
U kunt overslaan naar de volgende track door op de SKIP Omhoog toets te drukken. Telkens dat u op de SKIP Omhoog toets drukt, springt
het afspelen met één track vooruit.
Door op de SKIP Omlaag toets te drukken keert u terug naar het begin van de huidige track. Als u de toets meer dan eens indrukt, gaat u met
elke druk op de toets een track achteruit.
ZOEKEN NAAR EEN SPECIFIEK SEGMENT
Houd tijdens het afspelen de SKIP Omhoog/Omlaag toets ingedrukt om een track vooruit of terug te spoelen totdat u het gewenste segment heeft
bereikt waarnaar u wilt luisteren. Het afspelen wordt hierdoor versneld en het volume verlaagd. Zodra u de SKIP Omhoog/Omlaag toets loslaat, wordt
het normale afspelen hervat.
TRACKS PROGRAMMEREN
U kunt tot op 20 tracks in elke gewenste volgorde programmeren.
Selecteer de CD modus.
Druk op de PROG toets.
Gebruik de SKIP Omhoog/Omlaag toets om het tracknummer te selecteren dat u wenst toe te voegen aan uw programmering.
Wanneer u eenmaal het gewenste tracknummer geselecteerd heeft, drukt u op de PROG toets.
Herhaal stappen 2 tot 4 om meer tracks toe te voegen.
Nadat alle tracks waarnaar u wilt luisteren geprogrammeerd zijn, kunt u op de PLAY/PAUSE toets drukken om de geprogrammeerde selectie
af te spelen. Het afspelen start vanaf het begin van de eerst geprogrammeerde track.
De programmering opgeslagen in het geheugen wordt gewist wanneer u de Radiomodus selecteert of het apparaat uitschakelt.

Préparation avant utilisation
Installation des piles dans la télécommande

Lorsque la télécommande fonctionne mal ou si son champ est réduit, remplacez les piles.
Utilisation de la télécommande
Pour utiliser la télécommande, pointez-la en direction du capteur et appuyez doucement mais fermement sur les boutons. La télécommande
fonctionnera dans un champ d’environ six mètres. Le champ est cependant réduit lorsque la télécommande n’est plus dans le champ du capteur de
l’appareil. Pour profiter au maximum du champ du capteur, placez-vous dans la ligne du capteur.
Ne pas exposer le capteur à une forte lumière (lumière directe ou artificielle) et éliminez tous les obstacles entre le capteur et la télécommande.

CONNEXION DES HAUT-PARLEURS
Connectez les haut-parleurs aux bornes rouge et noire situées à l’arrière de l’appareil comme décrit ici. Connectez les bornes R au haut-parleur droit et
les bornes L au haut-parleur gauche. Abaissez la languette rouge ou noire, insérez le câble du haut-parleur puis relâchez la languette pour que le câble
soit tenu.
CONNEXION SECTEUR
Assurez-vous que tous les composants et que les haut-parleurs soient connectés correctement.
Vérifiez que le niveau de tension requis par votre équipement corresponde à l’alimentation secteur locale c’est-à-dire 230 VAC - 50 Hz.
Branchez l’appareil sur la prise murale.
CASQUE
Assurez-vous que le casque soit sur une prise jack 3,5mm et d’une impédance de fonctionnement de 8-32 ohms. Lorsque vous branchez le casque, le
son des haut-parleurs est automatiquement éteint.

ÉCOUTER LA RADIO
Sélectionnez le mode RADIO.
Sélectionnez la bande d’ondes radio (AM, FM ou FM ST) à l’aide du sélecteur BAND.
Recherchez la station de votre choix à l’aide du bouton Tuning.
Pour éteindre la radio, sélectionnez le mode CD ou appuyez sur le bouton On/Off.
REMARQUE: Pour une réception optimale de la radio FM, étirez le fil de l’antenne FM. Pour la réception de la radio AM, une antenne ferrite
intégrée est utilisée. Pour améliorer la qualité de la réception, faites tourner l’appareil.
Lorsque les signaux stéréo FM sont faibles ou lorsque le niveau de bruit de fond est trop élevé, nous vous conseillons de sélectionner la bande FM
(mono).
LIRE UN DISQUE COMPACT
Sélectionnez le mode CD.
Appuyez sur le bouton d’ouverture du lecteur CD, placez un disque au centre du tiroir avec le label sur le dessus puis fermez doucement le
couvercle.
L’afficheur indique le nombre de pistes.
Appuyez sur PLAY une fois que le CD est inséré pour démarrer la lecture de la première piste.
Pour mettre la lecture en pause, appuyez sur le bouton PLAY/PAUSE. Pour reprendre la lecture, appuyez à nouveau sur le bouton
PLAY/PAUSE.
Appuyez sur le bouton STOP pour arrêter la lecture du CD.
SELECTIONNER UNE PISTE EN MODE ARRÊT
Appuyez soit sur le bouton SKIP/SEARCH Up ou Down jusqu'à ce que le numéro de piste voulu s'affiche.
Appuyez sur PLAY/PAUSE pour démarrer la lecture de la piste sélectionnée. L'affichage LCD indiquera le numéro de piste sélectionnée.
Vous pouvez aller à la piste suivante en appuyant sur le bouton SKIP Up. La lecture avance d’une piste à chaque fois que le bouton SKIP Up
est enfoncé.
Lorsque vous appuyez sur le bouton SKIP Down en mode Lecture, vous retournez au début de la piste en cours. Si vous appuyez plus d’une
fois sur ce bouton, à chaque pression, vous faites un retour d’une piste.
RECHERCHE D’UN PASSAGE SPÉCIFIQUE
Pendant la lecture, maintenez le bouton SKIP Up/Down pour faire une avance ou un retour rapide sur la piste jusqu’à ce que vous atteignez le passage
spécifique que vous souhaitez écouter. La vitesse de la lecture augmente et le volume baisse. La lecture normale reprend une fois que le bouton SKIP
Up/Down est relâché.
PROGRAMMATION DE PISTES
Vous pouvez programmer jusqu’à 20 pistes dans n’importe quel ordre.
Sélectionnez la fonction CD.
Appuyez sur le bouton PROG.
Appuyez sur le bouton SKIP Up/Down pour sélectionner le numéro de piste que vous souhaitez ajouter à votre programme.
Une fois que vous avez sélectionné le numéro de piste de votre choix, appuyez sur le bouton PROG.
Répétez les étapes 2 à 4 pour programmer d’autres pistes.

lecture de la sélection programmée. La lecture démarre avec la première piste du programme.
Le programme enregistré en mémoire est effacé lorsque vous sélectionnez la fonction Radio ou lorsque vous éteignez l’appareil.

Pour répéter une ou toutes les pistes, appuyez sur le bouton MODE avant ou pendant la lecture. Appuyez sur le bouton MODE une fois pour répéter la

Appuyez sur ce bouton encore une fois pour retourner au mode normal.

Sélectionnez la fonction Mode CD/MP3/USB.
L’afficheur indique le nombre total de pistes.
Appuyez sur le bouton Play pour démarrer la lecture de la première piste.
Pour stopper la lecture, appuyez sur le bouton PLAY/PAUSE puis appuyez encore sur ce bouton pour retourner au mode de lecture normale.
Pour sélectionner le dossier, utilisez la télécommande. Appuyez sur les boutons Folder |<< et >>| pour sélectionner le dossier suivant ou
précédent.
Appuyez sur le bouton STOP pour arrêter la lecture du CD.
PROGRAMMATION DE PISTES
Vous pouvez programmer jusqu’à 20 pistes dans n’importe quel ordre.
Sélectionnez la fonction Mode CD/MP3/USB.
Appuyez sur le bouton PROG.
Appuyez sur le bouton SKIP Up/Down ou sur les boutons FOLDER |<< / >>| pour sélectionner le numéro de piste ou de dossier que vous
souhaitez ajouter à votre programme.
Une fois que vous avez sélectionné la piste de votre choix, appuyez sur le bouton PROG.
Répétez les étapes 2 à 4 pour ajouter d’autres pistes.

Une fois que vous avez programmé toutes les pistes que vous souhaitiez écouter, appuyez sur le bouton PLAY/PAUSE pour démarrer la
lecture de la sélection programmée. La lecture démarre avec la première piste du programme.
Le programme enregistré en mémoire est effacé lorsque vous sélectionnez la fonction Radio ou lorsque vous éteignez l’appareil.
BOUTON MODE (EN MODES USB ET MP3)
Pour répéter une ou toutes les pistes, appuyez sur le bouton MODE avant ou pendant la lecture. Appuyez sur le bouton MODE une fois pour répéter la
piste qui est en cours de lecture, appuyez sur ce même bouton deux fois pour répéter la totalité du CD et trois fois pour sélectionner le mode Random.
Appuyez sur ce bouton encore une fois pour retourner au mode normal.

Sélectionnez la fonction Mode CD/MP3/USB.
Appuyez sur le bouton CD/USB pour changer le mode USB ou SD/MMC.
L’affichage indique le nombre total de pistes présentes sur le média connecté au port USB ou au port SD/MMC.
Appuyez sur le bouton Play pour démarrer la lecture de la première piste.
Appuyez à nouveau sur le bouton CD/USB pour retourner au mode CD.
