Alcohol-free recipes for cold coffee
Coffee milk shake
Serves 2
• 200 ml cold coffee
• 300 ml milk
• 2 scoops vanilla ice cream
Blend all the ingredients in a food processor until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
Coffee lassi
Serves 2
• 350 ml cold coffee
• 350 ml thick creamy yoghurt
• 4 tbsp sugar
• Cinnamon
Blend the coffee, yoghurt and sugar in a food processor until the mixture is creamy.
Serve and sprinkle with cinnamon.
Iced coffee
Serves 2
• 450 ml strong cold coffee
• 8 drops vanilla essence
• 4 tbsp condensed milk
• Ice cubes
Place the ice cubes in a food processor and blitz to obtain approx. 300 ml of crushed ice.
Add the vanilla essence, condensed milk and cold coffee. Blend until the mixture is frothy. Pour
into tall glasses and decorate with whipped cream if you wish.
Coffee granita
• 500 ml hot coffee
• 100 g sugar
• 1 pinch cinnamon
• 3 pods cardamon
Pour the coffee into a bowl, add the sugar and spices, stir and
leave to cool.
Remove the cardamon pods, pour the cold coffee into a shallow
container and leave in the freezer for at least an hour until it is
nearly frozen.
Before serving, break down to coarse crystals with a fork, to
obtain a crunchy consistency.
