INTRODUCTION
For us at MACROM the achievement of the topmost sound quality is one of our greatest
concerns. In buying one of the MACROM state-of-the-art amplifiers 43.05/43.07/43.10 we realize
that this is also your concern.
This unit offers 2x70/100/130 Watt max. per channel at 4 Ohm or 1x220/340/470 Watt max. when
mono-bridged with pure and stable sound qualities. This instruction manual has been realized to
help you to get the maximum out of the outstanding performances and the advanced features and
functions of your new power amplifier.
We advise you to read the following instructions very carefully in order to get familiar with the
outstanding performances and the advanced features and functions of your new unit 43.05/43.07/
43.10. Please report any problem to the nearest MACROM dealer.
PRECAUTIONS
1. The unit may be damaged by wrong lead connection, therefore read carefully the instructions
of this manual for the correct connection of the leads.
2. The last lead to be connected is the one to the positive (+) terminal of the battery; connect this
lead only after having completed and checked all other connections.
3. Due to the power of the 43.-series it is imperative that all connections are clean and secure in
order to avoid damage to the unit.
4. Be sure to install the amplifier in a position with good air circulation and good heat dissipation.
5. In case of fuse replacement make sure to replace them with fuses of the same amperage. The
use of fuses with the wrong amperage may seriously damage the components of the unit.
If fuses blow more than once, carefully check all electrical connections. Also have your car’s
voltage regulator checked. Do not attempt to repair the unit yourself.If repairs are ever needed,
take the unit to your MACROM dealer or to your nearest MACROM service station.
6. In order to obtain the best possible performance from this unit, make sure that the temperature
inside your car is within the range of -10° C and +60° C before you switch the unit on. Good air
circulation is essential to prevent heat build-up inside the unit.

FEATURES
• 3/2/1 CHANNEL OPERATION
The amplifier can be operated as a stereo or a as mono-bridged amplifier thus doubling the
output power independently from the input mode; the power can be subdivided as follows,
according to your needs:
a) 50/70/100 W RMS for each one of the two channels
b) 50/70/100 W RMS for two stereo channels, and 130/180/250 W RMS mono
c) 130/180/250 W RMS for one mono channel
• LOW-BOOST SELECTOR
This switch boosts the low frequencies from 0 to +3 or +6 dB per octave.
• RCA INPUT SENSITIVITY
The new amplifier has an input sensitivity set to 500 mV for optimum coupling with other
MACROM sources. However, it is possible to adjust the sensitivity between 100 mV and 2 V for
easy coupling of other sources available on the market.
• CHECK CONTROL INDICATOR
This LED shows the current state of the amplifier.
WHITE The unit is switched off.
GREEN The unit works perfectly well.
RED The unit is in the protection mode, something is wrong.
• OPTICAL GROUND DECOUPLING SYSTEM WITH FOURFOLD PROTECTION
Your unit is equipped with four different protection devices, as befits all high-end products.
These protections are fitted with an optical decoupling system for the separation of the input
ground from the output ground:
SOFT START: the amp powers gradually in order to avoid damage to the speakers in case the
head unit is switched on with the volume control set to maximum.
OVERHEATING: in case of wrong installation the unit enters the protection mode before being
damaged. As soon as the temperature returns to normal values, the unit resumes normal
operation.
OVERLOADS: in case a series of speakers is connected to the amplifier with the total
impedance value dropping below a tolerable level of 1-1.5 Ohm, the unit enters the protection
mode. In this event check the total impedance value of the system.
OUTPUT SHORT CIRCUIT: in case of a short circuit at the speaker outlets the unit enters the
protection mode in order to avoid serious damage to the end-stage transistors. Normal
operation is resumed on eliminating the short circuit.
• CLASS-A DRIVER CIRCUIT

• PWM MOS-FET POWER SUPPLY
The great power of the 43.-series is obtained by means of a special stabilized C-Mos-Fet PWM
(Pulse width modulation) supply unit which offers a constant power supply from 11 to 15 V, high
efficiency with low current draw, high power stability to sudden voltage changes in your car’s
electric system. The results are excellent performance, a linear and wide frequency response
with high dynamics.
• REMOTE ON AND OFF
On switching the head unit on or off, the amplifier is automatically switched on or off.
• CAPACITIVE/INDUCTIVE POWER SUPPLY FILTER
A special circuit assures low level of radio frequency interferences (RFI) and cuts off system
noises (i.e. the whine of the alternator).

INSTALLATION

Due to the high output power of the amplifier a great amount of heat is generated when the unit is
in use. Therefore, it is necessary to install the unit in a position with good air circulation or otherwise
the amp will enter the protection mode. The best place where to install the amplifier is the boot; avoid
to cover the amp with carpet floor or other.
1. Place the amplifier at the point of installation chosen and mark the position of the four securing
screws provided.
2. Drill the screw holes.
3. Place the amp in the correct position and screw the four tapping screws on.
Note: Connect the ground lead to a screw already fixed to the metallic chassis of the car (identified
by *) in order to ensure a good ground contact.

1. Battery lead: Connect the BATT-terminal
11 directly to the car‘s battery with a yellow lead of
adequate section.
Do not connect this lead to circuits existing within the electric system of the car. In order to avoid
damage to the car it is imperative that this lead be fitted with a fuse (not provided) as near as
possible to the car‘s battery. This connection is the to be carried out last.
2. Remote switch-on lead: Connect the (REMOTE) switch-on lead or the control lead of the
power antenna coming from the head unit (blue) to the REMOTE terminal
13 of the amplifier.
NOTE: In case this lead is not connected, the amplifier will not be switched on when the head
unit is switched on. If your head unit is not fitted with an output connector for a power antenna,
a quick-break lever switch (SPST) shall be installed between the power source (+12 V) and the
remote switch-on lead and connected to the REMOTE terminal
13 so as to provide for manual
switch-on of the amplifier.
3. Ground lead: Connect a ground lead (black) of adequate section to a clean spot on the car
chassis and to the GND terminal
12 . Make sure that the connection is sound and that there is
electric continuity between this spot and the negative terminal of the battery. Use a ground cable
as short as possible, and in case more than one amplifier are used connect all ground leads to
the same spot.
4. FUSE: In case of fuse replacement make sure to replace them with fuses of the same
amperage. The use of fuses with the wrong amperage may seriously damage the components
of the unit.
5. Speaker output terminals: Make sure to keep the right polarity and phase in connecting the
speakers. This includes the control of the right polarity, (+ and -).
NOTE: Never connect the negative wires to each other and never use a common negative lead
for all the speaker.
Take care that inadequately isolated wires do not come into contact with the the ground, metallic
parts of the car or with each other.

6. RCA-type input connectors: Connect the Pre output leads of your head unit to the RCA-type
input connectors by means of RCA extension cables (e.g. 90.05-90.10-90.25-90.50 by
MACROM).
Make sure to respect the right channel designation: left L (white) and right R (red).

INPUT SELECTOR SWITCH
a) STEREO MODE. Select the “ST” position when the amplifier is used
as a 2-channel stereo system.
Note: Also in this case connection of the mid channel is possible (C+ C-).
b) MODE “L - MONO”. Select the “L Mono” position when the amplifier
is used with only one input channel.
Note: Connect the leads coming from a single speaker to the terminals
(C+ C-) in order to obtain a BTL-connection (bridged).
In case stereo output is requested, connect a second amplifier in the
same way to the other speaker.
c) L + R MODE. Select the “L+R” position of the switch when the amplifier
is used for a subwoofer system using the right and left channel. Thus,
the two inputs are blended into one mono output signal portioned out
to the two channels or to one channel with twice the power, if the
subwoofer is connected to the mid channel (C+ C-)
LOW-BOOST SELECTOR SWITCH
a) “OFF”-MODE: In the “Off”-position the
amplifier has a linear response with no boosting
of the low frequencies.
b) “+3dB”-Mode: Select the “+3dB”-position to
slightly boost the low frequencies.
c) “+6dB”-Mode: Select the “+6dB”-position to
boost the low frequencies even more.
INPUT GAIN ADJUSTMENT CONTROL
The mid position (click) is used for the selection of an input sensitivity of 500
mV corresponding to the preamplified outputs of MACROM products.
In case the amplifier is to be connected to a head unit that is not of
MACROM make but is fitted with preamplified RCA outputs, proceed as
follows:
a) Set the volume control of your head unit to 3/4 of maximum output level.
b) Set the input gain control by means of a screwdriver from 2 V to 0.1 V
to the point where the maximum sound level with no distortion is
obtained.

Für uns von MACROM ist die Soundqualität eines unserer Hauptziele. Die Tatsache, daß Sie
sich für einen der State-of-the-Art-Verstärker 43.05/43.07/43.10 von MACROM entschieden
haben, bedeutet, daß Sie ebenso denken.
Ihr Verstärker hat eine Leistung von 2x70/100/130 Watt pro Kanal bei 4 Ohm oder von 1x220/340/
470 Watt max. mono-gebridged, mit einem sauberen, stabilen Klang. Diese Anleitungen sollen Sie
dabei unterstützen, die außergewöhnlichen Leistungen und alle technologischen Eigenschaften
Ihres neuen Leistungsverstärkers aufs Beste zu nutzen.
Wir empfehlen Ihnen, diese Bedienungsanleitung sorgfältig durchzulesen, um sich mit den
einzelnen Bedienungselementen und Funktionen Ihres neuen Modells 43.05/43.07/43.10 vertraut
zu machen. Wenden Sie sich für jedes Problem vertrauensvoll an Ihren MACROM-Vertragshändler.
VORSICHT
1. Jeglicher falscher Anschluß der Kabel kann zur Beschädigung des Geräts führen; lesen Sie
aufmerksam die vorliegenden Anleitungen für den Geräteanschluß.
2. Schließen Sie das Batteriekabel als letztes an den Batteriepol (+) an, nachdem alle anderen
Verbindungen vollständig ausgeführt und kontrolliert worden sind.
3. Aufgrund der hohen Leistung der Verstärker der Serie 43. müssen alle Verbindungen sauber
und fest ausgeführt sein, um Beschädigungen zu vermeiden.
4. Installieren Sie den Verstärker in einer Position mit ausreichender Luftzirkulation, wo die Wärme
gut abgestrahlt werden kann.
5. Sollte das Auswechseln von Sicherungen erforderlich sein, so vergewissere man sich, daß
Sicherungen mit derselben Amperezahl verwendet werden.
Die Verwendung von Sicherungen mit falscher Amperezahl kann zu schweren Beschädigungen
von Verstärkerteilen führen.
Sollten die Sicherungen mehr als einmal durchbrennen, so muß man sorgfältig alle elektrischen
Anschlüsse prüfen. Den Spannungsregler des Fahrzeuges ebenfalls überprüfen lassen.
Versuchen Sie auf keinen Fall, das Gerät selbst zu reparieren. Wenden Sie sich an Ihren
MACROM-Händler oder an eine MACROM-Dienststelle.
6. Vor dem Einschalten des Gerätes sicherstellen, daß die Temperatur im Fahrzeugraum
zwischen -10° C und +60° C liegt, um die besten Betriebsbedingungen zu gewährleisten. Bei
großer Hitze besonders gut auf ausreichende Luftzirkulation im Fahrzeug achten, damit kein
Wärmestau in dem Gerät auftritt.
EIGENSCHAFTEN
• 3/2/1-KANALBETRIEB
Der Verstärker kann jederzeit als Stereoverstärker oder gebridged eingesetzt werden, wobei
er unabhängig vom Eingangsmodus die doppelte Leistung abgibt, die folgendermaßen
aufgeteilt werden kann:
a) 50/70/100 W Sinus pro Kanal
b) 50/70/100 W Sinus pro Stereokanal und 130/180/250 W Sinus Mono
c) 130/180/250 W Sinus für einen Monokanal
• LOW-BOOST WÄHLSCHALTER
Dieser Schalter bietet die Möglichkeiten, die niedrigen Frequenzen von 0 bis +3 oder +6 dB pro
Oktave hervorzuheben.
• RCA-EINGANGSEMPFINDLICHKEIT
Dieser neue Verstärker hat eine auf 500 mV eingestellte Eingangsempfindlichkeit für den
optimalen Anschluß eines MACROM-Gerätes; die Eingangsempfindlichkeit kann jedoch
zwischen 100 mV bis 2 V für den Anschluß von anderen Fabrikaten eingestellt werden.
• CHECK CONTROL ANZEIGE
Diese LED zeigt den Zustand des Verstärkers an.
WEIß Das Gerät ist ausgeschaltet.
GRÜN Das Gerät funktioniert einwandfrei.
ROT Das Gerät befindet sich im Schutzzustand, eine Störung liegt vor.
• OPTISCHER MASSE-TRENNKREIS MIT VIERFACHEM SCHUTZ
Wie es sich für High-End-Geräte gehört, ist Ihr Gerät mit vier verschiedenen Schutzvorrichtungen
und einem optischen Trennkreis versehen, um die Eingangs- von der Ausgangsmasse zu
trennen:
SOFT START: Der Verstärker gibt seine Leistung allmählich ab, um die Lautsprecher nicht zu
beschädigen, wenn das Hauptgerät aus Versehen mit höchster Lautstärke eingeschaltet wird.
ÜBERHITZUNG: Bei Installationsfehlern tritt das Gerät in den Schutzstatus, bevor es beschädigt
werden kann. Sobald die Temperatur wieder auf einen normalen Wert sinkt, wird der Betrieb
wieder aufgenommen.
ÜBERBELASTUNG: Sollten mehrere Lautsprecher an den Verstärker angeschlossen werden
und die Gesamtimpedanz unter die erträgliche Grenze von 1-1,5 Ohm sinken, so tritt das Gerät
in den Schutzzustand. In diesem Fall muß die Gesamtimpedanz des Systems überprüft
werden.
KURZSCHLUß AM AUSGANG: Im Falle von Kurzschlüssen an den Lautsprecherausgängen
tritt das Gerät in den Schutzstatus, um die Beschädigung der Endstufentransistoren zu
vermeiden. Die Rückkehr zum normalen Betriebsstatus erfolgt automatisch nach Beseitigung
des Kurzschlusses.
• DRIVER-STROMKREIS IN KLASSE A
• ENDSTUFE MIT DISKRETEN KOMPONENTEN (TRANSISTOREN)
• PWM-MOS-FET-VERSORGUNGSGERÄT
Die hohe Leistung der Serie 43. wird durch die Verwendung eines besonderen stabilisierten
PWM- (Pulse Width Modulation-Impulsbreitemodulation) Versorgungsgerätes mit C-Mos-Fet
erhalten, das eine konstante Leistung von 11 bis 15 V abgibt, höchste Effizienz bei niedriger
Stromaufnahme bietet und Spannungsschwankungen der Auto-Stromanlage auffängt. Als
Ergebnis erhält man ausgezeichnete Leistungen, einen linearen, breiten Frequenzgang bei
hoher Dynamik.
• REMOTE-EIN- UND AUSSCHALTEN. Der Verstärker wird bei Ein- oder Ausschalten des
Hauptgeräts automatisch ein- oder ausgeschaltet.
• KAPAZITIVER/INDUKTIVER STÖRUNGSFILTER
Für einen niedrigen Pegel der Radiofrequenzstörungen (RFI) und die Unterdrückung der
Störungsquellen des Wagens (z.B. der Lichtmaschine).

INSTALLATION

Aufgrund der hohen Ausgangsleistung des Verstärkers wird bei Betrieb des Geräts viel Wärme
erzeugt. Es ist somit erforderlich, das Gerät dort einzubauen, wo ausreichende Luftzirkulation
vorhanden ist. Eine optimale Stelle ist der Kofferraum, wo der Verstärker jedoch nicht bedeckt
werden darf.
1. Das Gerät an der ausgewählten Stelle aufsetzen und die Position der vier Schrauben
markieren.
2. Die Schraubenlöcher bohren.
3. Den Verstärker in Position bringen und mit den beigelieferten Blechschrauben befestigen.
ANMERKUNG: Man verwende eine bereits am metallischen Fahrwerk des Wagens angebrachte
Schraube (in der Abbildung mit einem * gekennzeichnet) für einen guten Massekontakt.

ANSCHLÜSSE
1. Batteriekabel: Man schließe die BATT-Klemme
11 direkt an die Wagenbatterie mit einem
gelben Kabel mit angemessenem Querschnitt an.
Dieses Kabel auf keinen Fall mit den vorhandenen Stromkreisen des Fahrzeugs verbinden. Um
diese Stromkreise zu schützen, muß dieses Kabel mit einer Sicherung (nicht beigeliefert) so
nahe wie möglich an der Batterie versehen werden. Dieser Anschluß muß zuletzt erfolgen .
2. Kabel für Ferneinschaltung: Man verbinde dieses Remote-Einschaltkabel oder das Steuerkabel
(blau) für die elektrische Antenne des Hauptgeräts mit der REMOTE-Klemme
13 der Endstufe.
Anmerkung: Sollte dieses Kabel nicht angeschlossen werden, so wird der Verstärker bei
Einschalten des Hauptgeräts nicht eingeschaltet. Verfügt Ihr Hauptgerät nicht über einen
Ausgang für eine elektrische Antenne, so muß ein schnellauslösender Hebelschalter (SPST)
zwischen die Stromquelle (+12 V) und das REMOTE-Einschaltkabel geschaltet und an die
REMOTE-Klemme
13 angeschlossen werden, damit der Verstärker manuell ein- und
ausgeschaltet werden kann.
3. Massekabel: Das Massekabel (schwarz) an eine saubere, freie Metallstelle mit einem guten
elektrischen Kontakt an dem Fahrwerk und an der GND-Klemme
12 befestigen. Man
vergewissere sich, daß Stromdurchgang zwischen dem Anschlußpunkt und dem negativen Pol
der Batterie besteht. Das Massekabel sollte so kurz wie möglich sein; sollten mehrere
Verstärker verwendet werden, so müssen alle Massen an einem einzigen Punkt geerdet
werden.
4. SICHERUNG: Sollte das Auswechseln von Sicherungen erforderlich sein, so vergewissere
man sich, daß eine Sicherung mit derselben Amperezahl verwendet wird. Die Verwendung
von Sicherungen mit falscher Amperezahl kann zu schweren Beschädigungen von Verstärkertei-
len führen.
5. Lautsprecherausgangsanschluß: Man vergewissere sich, daß die richtige Polarität und
Phase beim Anschluß der Lautsprecher eingehalten werden (+ und -).
ANMERKUNG: Die negativen Pole der Lautsprecher dürfen NIEMALS untereinander verbunden
werden noch dürfen sie ein einziges, gemeinsames Kabel verwenden.
Der Kontakt zwischen nicht angemessen isolierten Kabeln unter sich, mit der Masse oder
Metallteilen des Wagens ist absolut zu vermeiden.

6. RCA-Eingangsanschluß: Die Pre-Ausgangskabel Ihres Hauptgeräts mit den RCA-
Eingangsanschlüssen verbinden, unter Verwendung von RCA-Verlängerungskabeln (z. B.
90.05-90.10-90.25-90.50 von MACROM). Man vergewissere sich der korrekten
Kanalbezeichnung: links L (weiß), rechts R (rot).

EINGANGSWÄHLSCHALTER
a) “STEREOMODUS”: Den Schalter in die Position “ST” stellen, wenn
der Verstärker im 2-Kanal-Stereobetrieb eingesetzt wird.
Anmerkung: Auch in diesem Fall kann der mittlere Kanal angeschlossen
werden (C+ C-).
b) MODUS “L MONO”: Den Schalter in die Position “L MONO” stellen,
wenn der Verstärker nur mit einem Eingangskanal eingesetzt wird.
Anmerkung: Man verbinde die von einem Lautsprecher kommenden
Kabel mit den Klemmen (C+ C-), um eine BTL-Verbindung (gebridged)
zu erhalten.
Wünscht man ein Stereo-Klangbild, so muß eine weitere Endstufe auf
dieselbe Art mit dem anderen Lautsprecher verbunden werden.
c) “L+R”-MODUS: Den Schalter in die Position “L+R” stellen, wenn der
Verstärker zur Steuerung eines Tiefbaßtönersystems verwendet wird,
das den rechten und linken Kanal in Anspruch nimmt. Die beiden
Eingänge werden dann gemischt, um ein einziges Mono-
Ausgangssignal an beiden Kanälen oder an einem Kanal mit doppelter
Leistung zu erhalten, wenn der Tiefbaßtöner an den mittleren Kanal
(C+ C-) angeschlossen ist.
LOW-BOOST WÄHLSCHALTER
a) “OFF”-MODUS: In der Position “OFF” spricht
die Endstufe linear an ohne Betonung der
Niederfrequenzen.
b) “+3dB”-MODUS: Die Position “+3dB”
auswählen, wenn die Niederfrequenzen leicht
betont werden sollen.
c) “+6dB”-MODUS: Die Position “+6dB”
auswählen, wenn die Niederfrequenzen noch
etwas mehr betont werden sollen.

EINSTELLUNG DES EINGANGSGEWINNS
Die Mittelposition (rastet hörbar ein) dient zur Auswahl einer
Eingangsempfindlichkeit von 500 mV, die dem Vorverstärkerausgang der
MACROM-Fabrikate entspricht.
Will man eine Endstufe mit einem Hauptgerät verbinden, das kein MACROM-
Fabrikat ist, jedoch einen vorverstärkten RCA-Ausgang besitzt, gehe man
folgendermaßen vor:
a) die Lautstärke des Hauptgeräts auf zirka 3/4 der maximalen Lautstär-
ke einstellen;
b) mit einem Schraubendreher stelle man die Eingangssteuerung von 2V
bis 0,1 V auf den maximalen ohne Verzerrung erhaltbaren
Lautstärkepegel ein.

INTRODUCTION
Pour nous de MACROM le but le plus important, que nous poursuivons, est celui d’atteindre la
meilleure qualité sonore. Le fait que vous ayez choisi le standard industriel, un des amplificateurs
43.05/07/10 de MACROM, signifie que vous êtes d’accord avec nous.
Votre unité vous offre 2x70/100/130 Watt de puissance maximum par canal à 4 Ohm ou bien 1x220/
340/470 Watt max. à pont en mono, tout en gardant une exceptionnelle propreté et stabilité sonore.
Ce manuel d’instruction a été préparé pour vous aider à profiter au maximum des performances
exceptionnelles, des caractéristiques technologiques avancées et du rendement élevé de votre
nouvel amplificateur de puissance.
Lisez attentivement ce manuel d’instruction pour vous familiariser avec toutes les caractéristiques
spéciales et les fonctions de votre nouveau modèle 43.05/07/10. En cas de doute adressez-vous
à votre revendeur autorisé MACROM.
PRECAUTIONS
1. Toute mauvaise connexion des fils pourrait endommager votre unité; lire attentivement les
instructions données dans ce manuel pour la connexion des fils.
2. Il faut connecter le fil de la batterie au terminal (+) de la batterie-même en dernier et seulement
après avoir terminé et contrôlé toutes les autres connexions.
3. A cause de la puissance de la série 43. il est indispensable que toutes les connexions soient
bien propres et solides, autrement l’unité pourrait remporter des dommages.
4. Assurez-vous d’installer l’appareil dans une position qui garantisse une bonne circulation d’air
et une bonne dissipation de la chaleur.
5. Si des fusibles doivent être remplacés, il faut s’assurer qu’ils soient remplacés avec des fusibles
ayant le même ampérage.
En cas d’utilisation de fusibles avec un ampérage différent, les composants de l’appareil
pourraient être gravement endommagés.
Si les fusibles devaient sauter plus d’une fois, contrôlez soigneusement toutes les connexions
électriques. Faire contrôler de plus le régulateur de voltage de votre voiture. Evitez de réparer
vous-mêmes l’appareil. Confiez la réparation éventuelle au distributeur MACROM ou au centre
d’assistance MACROM de la zone.
6. Pour assurer les meilleures performances de votre unité, ayez soin que la température à
l’intérieur de la voiture soit comprise entre -10° C et +60°C avant d’allumer l’appareil. Une bonne
ventilation est indispensable pour éviter la surchauffe de l’appareil.

• FONCTIONNEMENT A 3/2/1 CANAUX
L’amplificateur peut être utilisé comme amplificateur de puissance à deux canaux ou bien
ponté, doublant ainsi la puissance qui, à l’occurence, peut être répartie de la façon suivante,
indépendammant du mode d’entrée:
a) 50/70/100 Watt RMS pour chacun des deux canaux
b) 50/70/100 Watt RMS sur deux canaux stéréo, et 130/180/250 Watt RMS en mono
c) 130/180/250 Watt RMS sur un canal mono.
• SELECTEUR LOW-BOOST
Ce sélecteur permet d’accentuer les fréquences basses de 0 à +3 ou +6 dB par octave.
• SENSIBILITE D’ENTREE RCA
Ce nouvel amplificateur a une sensibilité d’entrée réglée à 500 mV pour l’accouplement optimal
avec d’autres appareil de MACROM; toutefois, il est possible de régler la sensibilité entre 100
mV et 2 V pour la connexion de toute autre source présente sur le marché.
• INDICATEUR CHECK CONTROL
Ce LED indique l’état de l’amplificateur.
BLANC: l’appareil est éteint.
VERT: l’appareil fonctionne parfaitement.
ROUGE: l’appareil est en état de protection, quelque chose ne va pas.
• DECOUPLEUR OPTIQUE DE MASSE A QUADRUPLE PROTECTION
Votre appareil est équipé de quatre protections différentes, comme il se doit pour un produit
haut-de-gamme, et il dispose d’un découpleur optique pour séparer la masse d’entrée de la
masse de sortie.
SOFT START: L’amplificateur entre en fonction graduellement pour ne pas endommager les
haut-parleurs, si par inadvertance l’unité principale est allumée avec le volume au maximum.
SURCHAUFFE: En cas d’erreurs d’installation, l’unité entre en état de protection avant de subir
des dommages. Dès que la température retourne à des valeurs normales, l’unité reprend sont
fonctionnement normal.
SURCHARGES: Si plusieurs haut-parleurs sont reliés à l’amplificateur et si l’impédance totale
descend en-dessous des limites supportables de 1-1,5 Ohm, l’unité entre en état de protection.
Dans ce cas il faut contrôler l’impédance totale du système.
COURT-CIRCUIT A LA SORTIE: En cas de court-circuit aux sorties des haut-parleurs, l’unité
entre en état de protection pour prévenir de sérieux dommages aux transistors finaux. Elle
reprend automatiquement son fonctionnement normal lorsque le court-circuit est éliminé.

La puissance élevée de la série 43. est obtenue grâce à l’emploi d’un alimentateur spécial
stabilisé PWM (modulation de l’ampleur des impulsions) à C-Mos-Fet pour obtenir un rendement
constant de 11 à 15 V, une efficience élevée en faveur d’une absorption mineure de courant,
une stabilité élevée aux variations soudaines du voltage. Le résultat: des performances
exceptionnelles, une réponse en fréquence linéaire et ample avec une dynamique élevée.
• ALLUMAGE ET EXTINCTION A DISTANCE
L’amplificateur s’allume et s’éteint automatiquement en allumant et éteignant l’unité principale.
• FILTRE D’ALIMENTATION CAPACITIF/INDUCTIF
Pour obtenir un bas niveau d’interférence des fréquences radio (RFI) et pour l’immunité aux
bruits du système (par exemple, à l’hululement de l’alternateur).

INSTALLATION
INSTALLATION (Fig. 3 page 4)
A cause de la sortie en haute puissance de l’amplificateur, une grande quantité de chaleur est
produite pendant l’utilisation de l’appareil. Il est donc nécessaire d’installer l’unité en un lieu où il y
a une bonne circulation d’air, autrement l’amplificateur se mettra en état de protection. Un des lieux
les mieux indiqués est le coffre, où il faut évidemment éviter de couvrir l’amplificateur avec la
moquette ou autre chose.
1. Appuyer l’unité à l’endroit choisi et marquer la position des quatre vis de fixage.
2. Forer les trous pour les vis.
3. Mettre l’amplificateur en position et visser les quatre vis autofileteuses.
NOTE: Utilisez une vis déjà installée sur la partie métallique de la voiture (indiquée par un * dans
la figure) pour assurer un bon contact à la terre.

CONNEXIONS
1. Câble de la batterie: Relier la borne BATT 11 directement à la batterie de la voiture en utilisant
un câble jaune avec une section adéquate.
Ce fil ne doit pas être relié avec les circuits existant dans le système électrique de la voiture.
Il est très important pour la protection de la voiture que ce fil ait un fusible (non fourni) très près
de la batterie. Cette connexion doit se faire en dernier.
2. Fil d’allumage à distance: Relier le fil pour l’allumage à distance (REMOTE) ou bien le fil de
commande de l’antenne électrique provenant de l’unité principale (bleu) à la borne REMOTE
13 de l’amplificateur.
NOTE: Si ce fil n’est pas relié, l’amplificateur ne s’allume pas en allumant l’unité principale. Si
votre unité principale ne dispose pas d’une sortie pour l’antenne électrique, il faut relier un
interrupteur à levier à déclenchement rapide (SPST) entre la source d’allumage (+12 V) et le
fil d’allumage à distance et le relier à la borne REMOTE
13 pour effectuer l’allumage manuel
de l’amplificateur.
3. Câble de mise à la terre: Fixez le câble de mise à la terre solidement à un point propre sur la
partie métallique du châssis de la voiture et à la borne GND
12 . Veillez à ce que le point choisi
présente une continuité électrique avec le terminal négatif de la batterie. Il faut utiliser un câble
de masse le plus court possible, et en cas d’utilisation de plusieurs amplificateurs, il faut
connecter toutes les masses respectives au même point.
4. Fusible: Si des fusibles doivent être remplacés, il faut s’assurer qu’ils soient remplacés avec
des fusibles ayant le même ampérage. En cas d’utilisation de fusibles avec un autre ampérage,
les composants de l’appareil pourraient être gravement endommagés.
5. Terminaux de sortie des haut-parleurs: Assurez-vous d’observer la bonne polarité et la
phase pendant la connexion des haut-parleurs (+ et -).
NOTE: Les négatifs des haut-parleurs NE DOIVENT JAMAIS être reliés entre eux ni utiliser un
seul câble en commun.
Ne permettez pas aux fils non isolés d’entrer en contact avec la masse, avec des parties
métalliques de la voiture ou entre eux.

6. Connecteurs d’entrée RCA : Les fils de sortie Pré de votre unité principale doivent être reliés
aux connecteurs d’entrée RCA, en utilisant les câbles de rallonge RCA (90.05-90.10-90.25-
90.50 de MACROM).
Assurez-vous d’observer la désignation correcte du canal: gauche L (blanc), droit R (rouge).

INTERRUPTEUR DE SELECTION D’ENTREE
a) MODE “STEREO” : Sélectionnez la position “ST”, lorsque vous utilisez
l’amplificateur comme un système stéréo à 2 canaux.
Note: Dans ce cas aussi la connexion du canal central est possible (C+ C-).
b) MODE “L-MONO”: Sélectionnez la position “L-MONO” lorsque
l’amplificateur est utilisé avec un seul canal d’entrée.
NOTE: Reliez les fils provenant d’un seul amplificateur aux bornes (C+
C-) pour obtenir une connexion BTL (pontée).
Si vous désirez une image stéréophonique, il faut utiliser un deuxième
amplificateur relié de la même façon à l’autre haut-parleur.
c) MODE “L+R”: Mettez l’interrupteur dans la position “L+R” lorsque
l’amplificateur est utilisé pour un système de subwoofer utilisant les
canaux droit et gauche. Les deux entrées seront ainsi mélangées et
l’on obtient un seul signal monophonique de sortie réparti sur les deux
canaux ou bien sur un seul canal au double de la puissance, si le
subwoofer est relié au canal central (C+ C-).
INTERRUPTEUR DE SELECTION LOW-BOOST
a) MODE “OFF”: Dans la position “OFF”
l’amplificateur aura une réponse linéaire, sans
aucune accentuation des fréquences basses.
b) MODE “+3dB”: Sélectionnez la position
“+3dB” si une légère accentuation des
fréquences basses est désirée.
c) MODE “+6dB”: Sélectionnez la position
“+6dB” si une accentuation encore majeure
des fréquences basses est désirée.

REGLAGE DU GAIN A L’ENTREE
La position centrale (click) sert à sélectionner la sensibilité d’entrée à 500
mV, qui correspond à la sortie de préamplification des produits MACROM.
Lorsque vous désirez relier l’amplificateur à une unité principale non-
MACROM, mais qui toutefois possède des sorties préamplifiées du type
RCA, il faut procéder comme décrit ci-dessous:
a) Réglez le volume de votre unité principale à 3/4 du niveau maximum
de sortie.
b) Tournez le contrôle d’entrée avec un tournevis et réglez le gain à
l’entrée de 2V à 0,1 V, au niveau sonore maximum, sans qu’il y ait de
distorsion.

PRECAUZIONI

2. Collegare per ultimo il filo della batteria al terminale (+) della stessa e solo dopo aver completato
e controllato tutti gli altri collegamenti.
3. A causa della potenza della serie 43. è indispensabile che tutti i collegamenti siano puliti e ben
sicuri altrimenti potrebbero risultare dei danni.
4. Assicuratevi di installare l'amplificatore in una posizione nella quale sia garantita una buona
circolazione dell'aria e una buona dissipazione del calore.
5. Qualora doveste sostituire dei fusibili assicuratevi di sostituirli con fusibili di identico amperaggio.
L'impiego di fusibili sbagliati potrebbe comportare gravi danni ai componenti.
Se i fusibili dovessero saltare più di una volta controllare accuratamente tutti i collegamenti
elettrici. Fare controllare inoltre il regolatore di voltaggio della Vostra auto. Evitare di riparare
l'unità Voi stessi. Affidare l'eventuale riparazione al distributore MACROM o al centro di
assistenza MACROM di zona.
6. Per assicurare le migliori prestazioni della Vostra unità fare in modo che la temperatura
all'interno dell'automobile sia compresa fra i -10° C ed i +60° C prima di accendere l'unità.
Una buona ventilazione è indispensabile per evitare surriscaldamenti all'interno dell'unità.

• FUNZIONAMENTO A 3/2/1 CANALI
L'amplificatore ha sempre la possibilità di essere utilizzato in Stereo o ponticellato raddoppiando
la potenza indipendentemente dal modo d'ingresso, all'occorrenza ripartita nei seguenti modi:
a) 50/70/100 Watt RMS per ciascuno dei due canali
b) 50/70/100 Watt RMS su due canali stereo, e 130/180/250 Watt RMS in mono
c) 130/180/250 Watt RMS su un canale mono
• SELETTORE LOW-BOOST
Questo interruttore permette di esaltare le basse frequenze da 0 a +3 o + 6dB per ottava.
• SENSIBILITA' DI INGRESSO RCA
L'amplificatore nuovo, ha la sensibilità di ingresso regolata a 500mV per l' ideale accoppiamento
con sorgenti MACROM, è comunque possibile regolare la sensibilità da 100mV a 2V per un facile
accoppiamento con qualunque sorgente presente nel mercato.
• INDICATORE CHECK CONTROL
Questo led indica lo stato dell'amplificatore.
Quando è BIANCO l'unità è spenta.
Quando è VERDE l'unità funziona perfettamente.
Quando è ROSSO l'unità è in protezione, c'è qualche cosa che non va.
• DISACCOPPIATORE OTTICO DI MASSA CON QUADRUPLA PROTEZIONE
La vostra unità è provvista, come compete ai prodotti High-End, di tre diverse protezioni, avente
un disaccoppiatore ottico per separazione della massa di ingresso con quella di uscita:
SOFT START l'amplificatore entra in funzione gradatamente per non danneggiare gli altopar-
lanti nel caso venga collegata l'unità principale con il volume inavvertitamente al massimo.
SURRISCALDAMENTO nel caso vi siano errori d'installazione l'unità entra in protezione prima
di danneggiarsi. Appena la temperatura tornerà normale l'unità riprenderà automaticamente il
normale funzionamento.
SOVVRACCARICHI nel caso più altoparlanti vengano collegati all'amplificatore e, l'impedenza
totale scenda sotto i limiti sopportabili 1-1.5 Ohm, l'unità entrerà in protezione. In tal caso
controllare l'impedenza totale del sistema.
CORTO CIRCUITO IN USCITA in caso di cortocircuito sulle uscite altoparlanti l'unità entra in
protezione per prevenire seri danni ai transistors finali. Il ritorno allo stato di normale funziona-
mento si ottiene automaticamente eliminando il corto circuito.

L'alta potenza della Serie 43. è ottenuta tramite l'impiego di un sofisticato alimentatore
stabilizzato PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) a C-Mos-Fet per un rendimento costante da 11 a
15V di alimentazione, un' alta efficenza a favore di un minor assorbimento di corrente, un 'alta
stabilità di potenza alle improvvise variazioni nel voltaggio in auto. Il risultato sono prestazioni
eccellenti, una costante risposta in frequenza lineare ed estesa con un' alta dinamica.
• ACCENSIONE E SPEGNIMENTO A DISTANZA
L'amplificatore si accenderà o si spegnerà automaticamente accendendo o spegnendo la vostra
unità principale.
• FILTRO D'ALIMENTAZIONE CAPACITIVO/INDUTTIVO
Uno speciale circuito assicura un basso livello di interferenza delle frequenze radio (RFI) e
l'immunità ai più ricorrenti disturbi (ad esempio all'ululato dell'alternatore).

Per via dell'uscita di alta potenza dell'amplificatore viene prodotto un alto livello di calore durante
l'uso dell'unità. Pertanto è necessario installare l'unità in un luogo dove vi sia una buona circola-
zione d'aria o l'amplificatore andrà in protezione. Un luogo ottimale è all'interno del bagagliaio
ovviamente non ricoprendo l'amplificatore con moquette o altro.
1. Appoggiare l'unità sul punto d'installazione prescelto e segnare la posizione delle quattro viti di
fissaggio.
2. Trapanare i fori per le viti.
3. Mettere l'amplificatore in posizione e avvitare le quattro viti autofilettanti in dotazione.
NOTA: Usate una vite già installata nella parte metallica dell'automobile (indicata con * nella figura)
per assicurare un buon contatto di massa.

COLLEGAMENTI
COLLEGAMENTI:
1. Cavo della batteria: Collegare il morsetto BATT
11 direttamente alla batteria della automobile,
tramite un cavo (giallo) di sezione adeguata.
Non collegare questo cavo con i circuiti esistenti nel sistema elettrico del veicolo. Per la
protezione del veicolo, è molto importante inserire un fusibile (non fornito) molto vicino alla
batteria. Questo collegamento deve essere effettuato per ultimo.
2. Cavo di accensione a distanza: Collegare il cavo di accensione a distanza (REMOTE) oppure
il filo di comando per l'antenna elettrica proveniente dall'unità principale (blu) al morsetto
REMOTE
13 dell'amplificatore.
NOTA: Nel caso in cui questo cavo non venga collegato, l'amplificatore non si accenderà
all'accensione dell'unità principale. Nel caso in cui la Vostra unità principale non disponesse di
un'uscita per l'antenna elettrica di potenza bisogna collegare un'interruttore a leva a scatto
rapido (SPST) fra la sorgente di accensione (+12V) ed il cavo di accensione a distanza da
collegarsi al morsetto REMOTE
13 per provvedere all'accensione manuale dell'amplificatore.
3. Cavo di massa: Collegare un cavo di massa (nero) di sezione adeguata in modo saldo e con
un ottimo contatto elettrico allo chassis dell`automobile, e quindi il morsetto GND
12 . Controllare
che il punto prescelto abbia continuità fra lo stesso e il terminale negativo della batteria.
Utilizzare un cavo di massa il piu' corto possibile e nel caso più amplificatori dovessero venire
impiegati, collegare tutte le relative masse ad un unico punto.
4. Fusibile: Dovendo sostituire i fusibili assicurarsi di sostituirli con fusibili di identico amperaggio.
L'impiego di fusibili sbagliati potrebbe comportare gravi danni ai componenti.
5. Terminali di uscita degli altoparlanti: Assicurarsi di osservare la corretta polarità e la fase nel
collegamento degli altoparlanti ( + e - ).
NOTA:I negativi degli altoparlanti NON devono mai essere connessi fra di loro o utilizzare un
unico cavo comune ad essi
Non lasciate che cavi non adeguatamente isolati vengano in contatto con la massa, parti
metalliche dell'auto o facciano contatto fra di loro.

6. Connettori di ingresso RCA: Collegate i cavi di uscita Pre della vostra unità principale ai
connettori di ingresso RCA, usando adeguati cavi di prolunga RCA (ad es. 90.05, 90.10, 90.25,
o 90.50 della MACROM).
Assicuratevi di osservare la corretta designazione dei canali: sinistro L (bianco), destro R
(rosso).

La posizione centrale (click) serve per selezionare la sensibilità di ingresso
a 500mV, la quale corrisponde alla uscita di preamplificazione dei prodotti
MACROM.
Volendo collegare l'amplificatore con una unità principale di un marchio
che non è MACROM ma che possiede uscite preamplificate del tipo RCA,
procedere come segue:
a) Collocare il volume della vostra unità principale a 3/4 dell'uscita
massima.
b) Regolare quindi, con un cacciavite, il controllo di guadagno di ingresso
da 2V a 0.1V per ottenere una massima pressione sonora ma senza
alcuna distorsione.

un altro amplificatore collegato allo stesso modo all`altro altoparlante.
c) MODO "L + R" Selezionate l`interruttore nella posizione "L+R"
quando l`amplificatore è usato per un sistema di subwoofer che
utilizza i canali destro e sinistro. I due ingressi verranno così miscelati
ottenendo un unico segnale monofonico in uscita ripartito su i due
canali o, su un canale al doppio dela potenza se il Sub Woofer è
collegato al canale centrale ( C + C - ).

INTRODUCCION
Para nosotros, que somos de MACROM, la finalidad que consideramos más importante es el
logro de la mejor calidad sonora. Puesto que Uds. compraron uno de los nuevos amplificadores
“State-of-the-Art” 43.05/43.07/43.10 realizados por MACROM, significa que participan también de
nuestra opinión.
La unidad de Uds. está en condiciones de ofrecerles 2x70/100/130 Vatios MAX por canal a 4
Ohmios ó 1x220/340/470 Vatios MAX de puente en mono para obtener un sonido limpio y estable.
Este manual de instrucciones se preparó para ayudarles a aprovechar todo lo posible las
prestaciones excepcionales y todas las caracterìsticas de tecnología punta y de rendimiento
elevado de su nuevo amplificador de potencia.
Lean atentamente este manual de instrucciones, para familiarizarse con todas las características
especiales y con las funciones de su nuevo modelo 43.05/43.07/43.10. Si tuvieran dudas, diríjanse
a nuestro vendedor autorizado MACROM.
PRECAUCIONES
1. Toda conexión de hilos no correcta podría causar daños a la unidad. Lean cuidadosamente las
instrucciones de este manual para conexiones de hilos.
2. La conexión del hilo de la batería al terminal (+) de la misma, será la última a efectuarse y
únicamente tras haber completado y verificado todas las demás conexiones.
3. Debido a la potencia de la serie 43, es indispensable que todas las conexiones estén limpias
y sean seguras, porque en caso contrario podrían originarse daños.
4. Cerciórense de que el amplificador esté instalado en una posición que garantice buena
circulación del aire y buena disipación del calor.
5. Toda vez que tenga que sustituir fusibles, cerciórense de que lo hacen con fusibles del mismo
amperaje. Errores en el empleo de fusibles pueden causar graves daños a las componentes
del amplificador.
Si se quemasen los fusibles más de una vez, verifique cuidadosamente todas las conexiones
eléctricas. Haga verificar también el regulador de voltaje de su coche. Renuncien a reparar la
unidad Uds. mismos. Encarguen la reparación al distribuidor MACROM o al centro de
asistencia MACROM de la zona.
6. Para garantizar las mejores prestaciones a su unidad, hagan que la temperatura en el interior
del coche quede entre -10 y +60°C antes de encender la unidad. Es indispensable una buena
ventilación para evitar recalentamientos en el interior de la unidad.

CARACTERISTICAS
• FUNCIONAMIENTO A 3/2/1 CANALES
El amplificador ofrece siempre la posibilidad de emplearse en estéreo o con una conexión de
puente duplicando la potencia independientemente del modo de entrada, que puede repartirse
de la siguiente manera:
a) 50/70/100 Vatios RMS para cada uno de los dos canales
b) 50/70/100 Vatios RMS en dos canales estéreo y 130/180/250 Vatios RMS en mono
c)130/180/250 Vatios RMS en un canal mono
• SELECTOR LOW-BOOST
Este interruptor permite elevar las frecuencias bajas de 0 a +3 ó +6dB por octava.
• SENSIBILIDAD DE ENTRADA RCA
El nuevo amplificador tiene la sensibilidad de entrada regulada a 500 mV para un acoplamiento
ideal con fuentes MACROM. De todos modos, puede ajustarse la sensibilidad de 100 mV a 2
V para acoplarlo con facilidad con cualquier fuente presente en el mercado.
• INDICADOR CHECK CONTROL
Este diodo indica el estado del amplificador.
En BLANCO la unidad está apagada.
En VERDE la unidad funciona perfectamente.
En ROJO la unidad está en protección. Hay algo que no va bien.
• DESACOPLADOR OPTICO DE MASA CON PROTECCION CUADRUPLE
Tal y como corresponde a los productos High-End, la unidad de Uds. cuenta con cuatro
protecciones diferentes, con desacoplador óptico para separar la masa de entrada por la de
salida:
SOFT START. El amplificador entra en funcionamiento gradualmente para no dañar los
altavoces en el caso de que, inadvertidamente, se conecte la unidad principal con el volúmen
al máximo.
SOBRECALIENTAMIENTO. En el caso de que hubieran fallos en la instalación, la unidad entra
en protección antes de dañarse. Tan pronto como la temperatura vuelva a la normalidad, la
unidad reanudará automáticamente su funcionamiento normal.
SOBRECARGAS. En el caso de que se conecten varios altavoces al amplificador, y la
impedancia total descienda por debajo de los límites soportables de 1-1,5 Ohmios, la unidad
entrará en protección. En tal caso, controlen la impedancia total del sistema.
CORTOCIRCUITO EN SALIDA. En caso de cortocircuito en las salidas de los altavoces, la
unidad entra en protección para prevenir graves daños en los transistores finales. El retorno al
funcionamiento normal se logra automaticamente eliminando el cortocircuito.

La potencia elevada de la Serie 43. se obtiene empleando un alimentador estabilizado muy
sofisticado PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) de C-Mos-Fet para un rendimiento constante de 11
a 15 V de alimentación, una eficiencia elevada a favor de una absorción menor de corriente,
gran estabilidad de potencia ante las variaciones imprevistas del voltaje en coche. Como
resultado se obtienen prestaciones excelentes, constante y extendida respuesta en frecuencia
lineal, con alta dinámica.
• ENCENDIDO Y APAGADO A DISTANCIA
El amplificador se encenderá o se apagará automáticamente, encendiendo o apagando la
unidad principal
• FILTRO DE ALIMENTACION CAPACITIVO/INDUCTIVO
Un circuito especial garantiza un nivel bajo de interferencia de las frecuencias radio (RFI) y la
inmunidad de los disturbios mas corrientes (por ejemplo, el aullido del alternador).

INSTALACION

A causa de la alta potencia de salida del amplificador se origina un nivel de calor elevado al utilizar
la unidad. Por consiguiente hay que instalar la unidad en un lugar en que haya buena circulación
de aire ya que de lo contrario el amplificador entrará en protección. Un sitio óptimo es el interior del
maletero sin cubrir, naturalmente, el amplificador con moquetas etc.
1. Apoyen la unidad en el lugar de instalación preelegido, marcando la posición de los cuatro
tornillos de fijación.
2. Taladrar los orificios para los tornillos
3. Coloquen el amplificador en su posición, atornillando los cuatro tornillos autofileteadores en
dotación.
ADVERTENCIA: Utilicen un tornillo instalado ya en la parte metálica del coche (indicado con * en
la figura) para garantizar buen contacto de masa.

CONEXIONES:
1. Cable de la batería: Conectar el borne BATT
11 directamente con la batería del coche,
mediante un cable (amarillo) de sección apropiada.
No deberá conectarse ese cable con los circuitos que ya existen en el sistema eléctrico del
vehículo. Para la protección del vehículo, es muy importante insertar un fusible (no suministrado)
muy cerca de la batería. Esta conexión se efectuará en último lugar.
2. Cable de encendido a distancia: Conécten el cable de encendido a distancia (REMOTE) o
bien el cable de mando para la antena eléctrica procedente de la unidad principal (azul) al borne
REMOTE
13 del amplificador.
NOTA: En caso de no conexión de este cable, el amplificador no se encenderá al encender la
unidad principal. Si la unidad principal de Uds. no tuviera salida para la antena eléctrica de
potencia, habrá que conectar un interruptor de palanca de disparo rápido (SPST) entre la fuente
de encendido (+12V) y el cable de encendido a distancia a conectar al borne REMOTE
13 para
encender el amplificador a mano.
3. Cable de masa: Conecten un cable de masa (negro) de sección apropiada, firmemente y con
buen contacto eléctrico en el chasis del coche y luego el borne GND
12 . Verifíquese que el
lugar preelegido tenga continuidad entre sí mismo y el terminal negativo de la batería.
Empléese un cable de masa, lo más corto posible, y en el caso de empleo de varios
amplificadores, conexionen las masas correspondientes en un punto único.
4. Fusible: Al tener que sustituir los fusibles cerciórense de cambiarlos por fusibles de amperaje
idéntico. El empleo de fusibles equivocados podría causar graves daños a las componentes.
5. Terminales de salida de los altavoces: Cerciórense de que la polaridad sea correcta, así
como la fase, en la conexión de los altavoces ( + e -).
NOTA: no permitan que cables no aislados correctamente entren en contacto con la masa, con
partes metálicas del coche, o hagan contacto entre sí.

AJUSTES Y SELECTORES
INTERRUPTOR DE SELECCION DE ENTRADA
a) MODO “ESTEREO” . Al utilizar el amplificador como un sistema
estéreo de 2 canales seleccionen la posición “ST”.
Nota: En este caso también es posible la conexión del canal central
(C+ C-).
b) MODO “L - Mono”. Al utilizar el amplificador nada más que con un
canal de entrada seleccionen la posición “L-Mono”
Nota: conexionen los hilos procedentes de un solo altavoz con los
bornes (C+ C-) para obtener una conexión BTL (de puente) Si
desearan una imágen estereofónica, habrá que utilizar otro amplificador
conectado, del mismo modo, con otro altavoz.
c) MODO “L + R”. Utilizando el amplificador para un sistema de subwoofer
que emplea los canales derecho e izquierdo, seleccionen el interruptor
en posición “L + R”. De tal modo las dos entradas se mezclarán
obteniendo solo una señal monofónica en salida repartida en dos
canales o, en un canal con el doble de la potencia si el subwoofer está
conectado con el canal central (C+ C-).
INTERRUPTOR DE SELECCION LOW BOOST
a) MODO “OFF”. En posición “OFF” el
amplificador obtendrá una respuesta lineal,
sin elevación alguna de las frecuencias bajas.
b) MODO “+3dB”. Seleccionen la posición
“+3dB” cuando haga falta una elevación ligera
de las frecuencias bajas.
c) MODO “+6dB”. Seleccionen la posición
“+6dB” cuando haga falta una elevación más
de las frecuencias bajas.
AJUSTE DE LAS GANANCIAS DE ENTRADA
La posición central (click) sirve para seleccionar la sensibilidad de entrada
a 500mV, correspondiente a la salida de preamplificación de los productos
MACROM.
Si se desea conectar el amplificador a una unidad principal de una marca
que no sea MACROM, pero que cuente con salidas preamplificadas tipo
RCA, obren del modo siguiente:
a) Pongan el volúmen de su unidad principal a 3/4 de la salida máxima.
b) Ajusten después, con un desatornillador, el control de ganancia de
entrada de 2V a 0,1V para obtener la máxima presión sonora pero sin
distorsiones
