ADULT BATTERY INSTALLATION REQUIRED.
The batteries included in your Tummy Tunes Giraffe™
are for in-store demonstration. Before playing, an
adult must install fresh alkaline batteries.
Here’s how:
1. Open the hook and loop fastener under the giraffe.
2. Using a Phillips screwdriver (not included) remove
the screw and battery compartment cover from the
back of the battery box.
3. Install two (2) fresh 1.5V AAA (LR03) alkaline
batteries (not included) making sure the (+)and (-)
ends face the proper direction as indicated inside
the battery compartment.
4. Replace the compartment cover and tighten the
screw.
5. Secure the hook and loop fastener to close the
giraffe.
BEFORE YOU BEGIN
QUICK START
1. Open the hook and loop fastener under the girae.
2. Move the switch to the piano mode or songs mode. Note: once you exit “try me” mode (X), you cannot move the
switch back.
3. Secure the hook and loop fastener to close the girae.
4. Press the three keys in front of the girae. The girae will play single piano key notes or songs as you press the
keys. After 5 minutes, the girae will enter sleep mode. To exit sleep mode, press the keys again.
HINT: If songs or piano notes do not play when you press the keys, check that the buttons on the front of the
battery box are directly beneath the keys in front of the girae.

• Charging of rechargeable batteries should only be done under adult supervision. Use only size “AAA” (LR03)
alkaline batteries (2 required).
• Never mix old batteries with new batteries, rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) or carbon zinc with alkaline batteries.
• Be sure to insert the batteries correctly and follow the toy and battery manufacturer’s instruction.
• Always remove exhausted or dead batteries from the product.
• Dispose of dead batteries properly: do not burn or bury them.
• Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Remove rechargeable batteries from the product before recharging.
• Charging of rechargeable batteries should only be done under adult supervision with batteries removed from
product.
• Avoid short-circuiting battery terminals.
• Remove batteries before placing the unit into storage for a prolonged period of time.
