3) Place the parent unit on a flat and solid surface and within the range of the baby
unit.
4) To activate the parent unit, press the "O/I" button for two seconds. The noise
indicator and connection indicator lights will flash once. The connection light will
then come on. This means the parent unit is connected to the baby unit. At this
point, the audio level can be adjusted by pressing the “” or “” buttons. Each
time a sound or noise is detected, the green noise detection light on the parent
unit will light up.
5) After turning on the two units, always check the parent unit reception, making sure
signal reception is possible where you wish to position it. We recommend checking
the reception with the help of a family member who will speak into the baby unit
while the other adult will make sure that the parent unit correctly receives the sound
from the room where the baby unit is located. This check should be performed
with the parent unit located in the rooms where you expect to position it to check
proper signal reception. If the parent unit loses its connection with the baby unit,
the green connection light will start to flash. To reconnect the two units, follow the
instructions in the paragraph "Problems, causes and solutions".
6) When not in use, always unplug the adapters and then disconnect them from the
parent and baby units. The parent unit can be located using the baby unit. With the
device on, hold down the " " key for a few seconds. If the parent unit is on it will
beep. To turn the signal off, press any button on either of the units. This function
can also be used to simply call whoever is within hearing range of the parent unit
FUNCTION: “NO EMISSIONS”
The baby unit has a special transmission technology that can be selected using the
ON/OFF switch (no. 5) on the bottom of the device.
When the switch is in the "ON" position, if the baby monitor is in stand-by mode and
does not detect any noise, the baby unit will not transmit any radiation. Attention!
When the function is activated, as soon as the baby unit detects a noise it transmits
a signal to the parent unit in order to re-establish connection between the two units.
This operation may take up to 8 seconds. When the switch is on "OFF" the connection
between the two units is continuous.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning or performing any maintenance, turn the device off, unplug it and
remove the rechargeable batteries from the parent unit.
Do not immerse the baby unit, parent unit or adapters in water. Clean the outside
with a dry cloth. Do not use chemicals or abrasives. Make sure the units are dry
before plugging them in.
If not using the audio baby monitor for a long period of time, remove the batteries from
the parent unit. Store the baby and parent units and adapters in a cool, dry place.

The units do not connect. The baby unit may be too far from the parent unit or there may be too
many walls between the devices. Change the positions of the units or
bring them closer together. If the two units must be reconnected, proceed
as follows:
1) Turn off both units
2) Turn on first the baby unit and then the parent unit. The connection
between the two units is active when the green connection light stops
flashing.

The units are out of reach. Move the units closer together.
The operating range is less

The 300 metre operating range is only valid outside. The number, type
of walls and/or ceilings between the two units affect the range inside
houses. To improve it, move one or both units.
