8.3 ADJUSTING THE SPEED
Use the two speed adjustment
mechanisms to adjust the speed
to suit your driving conditions.
Always use lower speed if you are
uncertain about the driving conditions.
There are two mechanisms to control
the speed of your scooter.
1. High/Low Speed Switch:
a. It is located on the meter.
b. It is designed to preselect the maximum speed
levels.
c. If the toggle switch is set at “High” level, the
maximum speed allowed is 8 mph (12.8 kph)
d. If the toggle switch is set at “Low” level, the
maximum speed allowed is 4 mph (6.4 kph)
2. Speed Control Dial:
a. It is located in the centre of the dashboard.
b. It is designed to further adjust your speed after
you preselect the maximum speed by using the
High/Low Speed Toggle Switch.
Anticipated Speed levels:
c. The speed levels are tested under controlled
environments and your driving speed may vary
depending on the driving conditions and loads.
