• Open the battery compartment on the bottom side of the transmitter. Insert
2 new 1.5 V micro type (AAA) batteries. Please pay particular attention to
the +/- markings. Only use alkaline batteries for a longer service life.
• Close the battery compartment. The device is now ready for use.
Settings
• Switch the thermometer on by pushing the switch in the “ON” direction on
the bottom of the transmitter and on the back of the receiver. The indicator
light on the base and the display of the receiver illuminate briefly.
• Insert the cable of the measuring rod into the connector socket on the side
of the transmitter. The roast thermometer is now ready for use and shows
the current temperature “CURRENT TEMP”.
• The roast thermometer is equipped with a radio sensor, which has a range
of approx. 30 m. Place the base on your countertop during use. You can
keep the receiver with you and thus conveniently monitor the temperature
or the time.
Use as a roast thermometer
Briefly press the “MODE” button, to choose between temperature display
in °Celsius (°C) or °Fahrenheit (°F).
Automatic temperature adjustment
• Select the type of meat by pressing the “MEAT” button. The appropriate
pictogram and designation is shown in the upper part of the display.
