Working with the triangular grinder.
Begin with coarse paper, gradually replacing it with finer
paper until the desired grinding results have been
achieved. We recommend slightly overlapping one piece
with the other piece. When grinding, simply guide the
machine while pressing down slightly. We do not
recommend pressing down heavily on the machine, as
higher working pressure reduces the number of strokes
and consequently the grinding performance. The
machine should be turned on before it is applied to the
work piece and should not be turned off until it has been
removed from the work piece after grinding (grain marks
due to slowdown).
Full-wave electronics
This triangular grinder has a built-in full-wave electronic
unit. It allows you to optimally adjust the speed to the
work piece and the applied abrasive paper and is con-
trolled by means of the adjusting wheel (2). The working
speed is dependent upon numerous factors (e.g. the type
and grade of the material and the type, quality and grain
size of the applied abrasive paper).

Vacuum cleaner connection.
The vacuum connection piece (7) allows you to eliminate
sanding dust using a commercial vacuum cleaner. This is
particularly advantageous when working over a longer
period of time. Removing the sanding dust also increases
the grinding performance and service life of the grinding
paper.
Maintenance and repair.
Dust and dirt is produced by every tool when working
with wood. Proper maintenance is therefore imperative.
Ensure that all openings, in particular those required to
cool the motor, are always free of dust and dirt.
All movable parts are sufficiently lubricated before leaving
the factory. The grinder requires very little maintenance.
Replacing the graphite brushes.
As with all service work, brush replacement is carried
out quickly and easily by our service locations.
Mains cable.
Damaged mains cables must not be used. They must be
replaced by competent personnel without delay. Thanks
to the innovative mains cable with patent quick-release
lock (6) it is possible for you to replace the cable with the
greatest of ease. Press the two lock pushbuttons (5) and
pull the mains cable (6) out of the casing. Feed the new
mains cable into the hand grip until it snaps in place.
Various cable lengths are available upon request.
Only use the mains cable with patent quick-release lock
for KRESS power tools! Do not attempt to operate
other electrical appliances with it!
