Once a person has been selected the display jumps to “Data view”. Now
the stored training *data is displayed for the relevant person. The data
view disappears when training is started or the “set” button is pressed.

The upper right display begins to flash ( the two figures on the upper right
hand and the word “AGE”). In the central display (in the two right hand
figure segments) the currently stored age is displayed (or OFF is no value
has been stored). If an age has already been pre-set then it can be tur-
ned off (OFF) by simultaneously pressing “+” “and “-”.
The age entered determines the aerobic zone. To make this clear the seg-
ments HI and LO are also permanently displayed.
Note: The heart symbol flashes in time with the heart beat if a pulse sig-
nal is connected (as with all other parameters).
4.4.2.3 Maximum pulse rate
Limiting values 80 – 1999 beats, interval 1 or 5.

Now the lower right read-out begins to flash (the number segments and
word “PULSE”). The currently stored upper limit for the pulse (or OFF if no
word has been stored) is displayed in the centre of the screen ( the right-
hand three number segments. The maximum pulse calculated from age
(200 – age) or 199 (if no age is entered) cannot be exceeded. The lo-
west value for the upper pulse limit is 80 beats per minute.
The maximum pulse rate entered here is used for the audible and visual
alarm when it is exceeded. In addition the value entered here is used as
a basis for calculating the ratio of current pulse/maximum pulse expres-
sed as a percentage.

The read-out on the upper left starts to flash (number segments and word
“DISTANCE”). The currently stored value is shown in the central display
(or OFF if no value has been stored). The word can be changed using the
+ and – keys. The value is *transferred by pressing the “SET” button.
