before using for the first time
Dismantle your slicer/shredder then
wash the parts; see ‘cleaning’.
assembly and use
1 Put the base plate onto the base
unit.
2 Push your cutting plate onto the
shaft. The cutting side must be
uppermost ᕣ.

Some plates are reversible: one side
slices, the other side shreds.
3. Fit the lid onto the base ᕤ.
●
If it’s not on snugly, take it off, turn
the base plate slightly, then try again.
4 Turn the lid clockwise until it clicks
into place.
5 Remove the high speed outlet cover
ᕥ. Fit the unit to the outlet ᕦ.
6 Plug in and put a bowl under the
food outlet.
7 Put the food into the feed tube.
Hint: don’t cut food up too small.
Pack the feed tube solidly. This
prevents the food from slipping
sideways during processing.
8 Switch on the minimum speed (or
speed 1 for cheese). Then push your
food down with the pusher ᕧ.
to use the bean slicer
1 Trim the beans.
2 Fit the thick slicer/shredder, slicing
side uppermost.
