Settings of the satellite receivers
For optimal control of the switching matrices in the 500 series, you can carry out the following
settings in the menu setting of your satellite receiver*).

The distribution amplifier VWS 551 and the feed systems are always supplied with power from the end-line switching
matrix (e.g. EXR 508, order no. 20510002). The VWS 551 can also be mains fed using a power supply unit NCF 18,
order no. 230636.

The VWS 551 can be configurated with a 75 Ω terminating resistor EMK 03.
With this configuration, a higher amplification is activated and the level adjuster is switched on.
An additional compensation of cable loss is possible (cable mode).
