Safety Information
1. Read Instructions - All the safety and operating instructions should
be read before the appliance is operated.
2. Retain Instructions - The safety and operating instructions should
be retained for future reference.
3. Heed Warnings - All warnings on the appliance and in the operating
instructions should be adhered to.
4. Water and Moisture – Do not use the apparatus near water (e.g.
bath tub, sink, swimming pool) or in wet places or tropical climates.
Do not place objects lled with liquids, such as vases, on top of the
apparatus. Do not expose the apparatus to dripping or splashing.
5. Setup – The apparatus should only be placed on a stable, at
surface. Do not let the apparatus fall down or expose it to shock.
6. Wall or Ceiling Mounting - The appliance should be mounted to a
wall or ceiling only as recommended by the manufacturer.
7. Ventilation - The appliance should be situated so that its location or
position does not interfere with its proper ventilation. For example,
the appliance should not be situated on a bed, sofa, rug, or similar
surface that may block the ventilation openings; or, placed in a
built-in installation, such as a bookcase or cabinet that may impede
the ow of air through the ventilation openings. Ensure a minimum
distance of 5 cm around the apparatus for sufcient ventilation.
Ensure that the ventilation is not impeded by covering the ventilation
openings with items such as newspapers, table-cloths, curtains, etc.
8. Heat - The appliance should be situated away from heat sources
such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other appliances
(including ampliers) that produce heat.
9. Power Sources - The appliance should be connected to a power
supply only of the type described in the operating instructions or as
marked on the appliance.
10. Cleaning - The appliance should be cleaned only as recommended
by the manufacturer. Clean by wiping with a dry and clean cloth. Do
not use chemical cleaners or detergents. Always pull the mains plug
before cleaning the unit.
11. Object and Liquid Entry - Care should be taken so that objects
do not fall and liquids are not spilled into the enclosure through
openings.
12. Damage Requiring Service - The appliance should be serviced by
qualied service personnel when:
a) The power-supply cord or the plug has been damaged; or
b) Objects have fallen, or liquid has been spilled into the
appliance; or
c) The appliance has been exposed to rain; or
d) The appliance does not appear to operate normally or exhibits
a marked change in
performance; or
e) The appliance has been dropped, or the enclosure damaged.
13. Servicing - The user should not attempt to service the appliance
beyond that described in the operating instructions. All other
servicing should be referred to qualied service personnel.
14. Open Fire – Keep the apparatus away from open res. Do not place
naked ame sources, such as lighted candles on the apparatus.
15. Safety Check – After servicing the technician should conduct
a safety check in order to ensure that the apparatus is working
properly and safely.
16. Batteries – Always place batteries in the correct polarization into
electrical components. Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly
replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type. Do not mix
old and new batteries. Take attention to the environmental aspects
of battery disposal. Batteries shall not be exposed to excessive heat
such as sunshine, re or the like. Remove batteries before disposing
of the product.

device may impair

The color of the LED might be different from the de-
scription above due to the color of the silicone jackets.
On the black model the LED does not shine through
the silicone jacket. To see the LED you can remove the
silicone jacket. Take care not to damage it.
Power Supply
The capacity of the built-in battery is 3.7V, 400mAh.
To charge the battery, connect the speaker via the supplied USB
cable to a computer (computer must be switched on). Under normal
circumstances the charging takes about 2 hours. During charg-
ing the speaker can be either turned off or on (charging will take
slightly longer, especially when music is being streamed).
When charging, the charge indicator is lit red.
Once the charging is nished, the charge indicator will be lit blue.
To switch the speaker on, set the Power Switch to “ON”.
Always switch the unit off after use by switching the Power Switch
to “OFF”.
Playback time of the battery is up to 8 hours (depending on the
volume and audio source).
Note:
The USB port on this speaker is only for charging. It cannot communi-
cate with a computer and cannot be used for connecting other devices
for playback.

1. Turn on the Bluetooth

feature on your device.
2. Search for BT 4130.
3. Pair and connect to BT 4130. If prompted for a password, enter
“0000”.
4. When pairing was successful, LED blinks slowly.

menu of your device might look different.
Ready to Stream Music via Bluetooth
®
Press the VOL +/- buttons to adjust the volume on the speaker. A
beep tone will be heard when the maximum volume is reached.
Additionally you can set the volume and equalizer on your device in
order to reach the perfect sound.
Troubleshooting
If there should be any problem with this product, please try to solve it
with the help of the following information before contacting service. Most
problems can be solved easily.
• BT4130 cannot be powered on
Make sure that the built-in battery is charged. Ensure that the Power
ON/OFF switch is set to “On”. When the speaker is powered on, the
LED status indicator will light up.
• There is no Bluetooth
®
link between BT4130 and the external
device
Ensure that your Bluetooth
®
enabled device supports the A2DP proe.
Refer to its user manual on how to turn on the Bluetooth
®
functions and
capabilities.
You may also try the following:
Delete the BT 4130 name entry from your Bluetooth
®
device paired
memory list and perform the steps from “Bluetooth
®
Connection” to
re-pair your device with BT 4130.
Ensure that both BT 4130 and your Bluetooth
®
device are not con-
nected to any other devices.
On some Bluetooth
®
devices you may need to select BT 4130 as
your default output device after pairing is completed.
• Bluetooth
®
link is established and paired between the devices
but there is no music
Make sure that the volume of the speaker and the external device is not
set to zero (muted).
With some built-in Bluetooth
®
enabled computers, 3rd party USB
Bluetooth
®
dongles or other devices, you may be required to manually
specify/set-up the audio output as BT 4130. Please refer to the docu-
mentation of the external device for further information.
