WICHTIGE SICHERHEITSVORSCHRIFTEN

Lesen Sie aufmerksam die Gebrauchsanleitung, bevor Sie Ihr Gerät benutzen.

BEFESTIGUNG DER WANDHALTERUNG

 Halten Sie die Wandhalterung an die Stelle der Wand, an der Sie sie befestigen möchten.

 Markieren Sie an der Wand mit einem Bleistift die Stellen, an denen sich die Löcher

befinden.

 Bohren Sie die Löcher an den markierten Stellen.

 Stecken sie die Dübel in die Löcher, halten Sie die Wandhalterung an die Wand und

schrauben Sie sie mit den Schrauben an der Wand fest.

 Um das Gerät auf der Wandhalterung zu befestigen, schieben Sie es von oben nach

unten in die Halterung ein.



DAS GERÄT ANSCHLIEßEN

 Die Ladestation kann an jede Stromquelle -auch an Rasierersteckdosen - mit 230-240 V

Wechselstrom betrieben werden.

 Setzen Sie das aufladbare Antriebsteil mit der Vorderseite auf die Ladestation.

 Die grüne Ladeanzeige leuchtet auf, wenn das Antriebsteil auf die ans Netz

angeschlossene Ladestation aufgesetzt wird.

 Während des Ladevorgangs kann sich das Antriebsteil leicht erwärmen. Auf die Funktion

des Antriebsteils hat dies keinerlei Einfluss. Ein Überladen der Batterie ist unmöglich.

 Um das Antriebsteil voll leistungsfähig zu erhalten, sollte es stets nach Gebrauch auf die

Ladestation zurückgesetzt werden.

ERSTE BENUTZUNG UND PFLEGE DER BATTERIE

Um die Lebensdauer der Batterie zu verlängern, ist es notwendig, sie vor der ersten Benutzung

ca. 16 Stunden zu laden, und sie dann durch Gebrauch wieder völlig zu entladen. Laden Sie

sie danach wieder vollständig auf. Wenn dies geschehen ist, können Sie die Batterie nach

Benutzung immer auf der Ladestation lassen.

Sie sollten diesen Auflade-/Entladeprozess ca. halbjährlich wiederholen.

Vor dem Aufladen der leeren Batterie kontrollieren Sie bitte, dass das Gerät ausgeschaltet ist.

Dazu drücken Sie auf den Schalter I und kontrollieren, ob Sie ein Klicken hören. Danach

drücken Sie auf den Schalter 0 und kontrollieren wieder, ob Sie ein Klicken hören. Nun können

Sie das Gerät aufladen.

ZUM GEBRAUCH

 Bevor Sie Ihre Zahnbürste zum ersten Mal benutzen, laden Sie das Antriebsteil bitte

mindestens 16 Stunden lang auf.

 Wenn das Antriebsteil vollständig aufgeladen ist, setzen Sie bitte den aufsteckbaren

Bürstenkopf auf das Antriebsteil auf.

 Zuvor können Sie einen der farbigen Ringe am Ende des Bürstenkopfs anbringen (zur

Unterscheidung) . Der Bürstenkopf muss in die gleiche Richtung weisen wie der Ein Aus-

Schalter.

 Bevor Sie Ihre Zähne putzen, spülen Sie bitte Ihren Mund gründlich aus und befeuchten Sie

den Bürstenkopf.

 Sie können normale Zahnpasta verwenden.

 Um Spritzer zu vermeiden, schalten Sie das Antriebsteil bitte erst ein, nachdem Sie den

Bürstenkopf an die Zähne geführt haben.

 Bewegen Sie den Bürstenkopf dann an den Kauflächen Ihrer Zähne entlang.

 Führen Sie die Bürste erst an den Außenseiten, dann an den Innenseiten der Zähne

entlang. Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie auch die Zahnzwischenräume und die

Zahnfleischränder erreichen.

 Festes Aufdrücken der Bürste ist nicht erforderlich. Um den Zahnbelag gründlich zu

entfernen, bürsten Sie Ihre Zähne mindestens zwei Minuten lang. Nach dem Zähneputzen

spülen Sie Ihren Mund wiederum gründlich aus.

 In den ersten Tagen, in denen Sie Ihre neue elektrische Zahnbürste benutzen, kann es

gelegentlich zu leichtem Zahnfleischbluten kommen, vor allem dann, wenn Ihr Zahnfleisch

ohnehin dazu neigt. Nach einigen Tagen tritt dies in der Regel nicht mehr auf. Wenn Ihr

Zahnfleisch auch nach 2 Wochen noch blutet, sollten Sie Ihren Zahnarzt aufsuchen.

 Klinische Tests haben gezeigt, dass die beste Reinigungswirkung erzielt wird, wenn die

Bürste sanft -ohne Druck- von Zahn zu Zahn bewegt wird.

 Dass sich die Bürstenform durch den Gebrauch verändert, ist ganz normal und hängt mit

Ihrer individuellen Putztechnik zusammen. Die Wirksamkeit der Bürste bleibt davon jedoch

unberührt.



REINIGUNG

 Damit der Bürstenkopf seine Funktion behält, spülen Sie ihn nach dem Putzen mehrere

Sekunden lang bei eingeschaltetem Antriebsteil unter fließendem Wasser ab.

 Das Antriebsteil nur mit einem feuchten Tuch reinigen.

 Trocknen Sie das Antriebsteil ab, und setzen Sie es anschließend wieder auf die

Ladestation.

 Zur zusätzlichen hygienischen Reinigung empfehlen wir Ihnen, den Bürstenkopf alle 2 bis 4

Wochen in Gebissreinigungsflüssigkeit (die Sie im Handel bekommen) einzuweichen.

ERSATZBÜRSTEN

Um neue Bürsten zu bekommen, kontaktieren Sie bitte unseren Kundendienst, dessen Adresse

auf der Garantiekarte steht.

Die Referenz für die Bürsten ist “KA DB 4 brushes”.

ENTSORGUNG DER BATTERIE

Wenn Sie Ihr Gerät beseitigen wollen, entfernen Sie um die Umwelt zu schützen zuerst die

Batterie.

 Schrauben Sie die Unterseite des Gerätes los und entfernen Sie den Plastikteil, der die

Batterie bedeckt.

 Entfernen Sie die Batterie aus dem Gerät und entsorgen Sie sie in Übereinstimmung mit

dem Gesetz.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance.

Important: People (including children) who are not able to use the appliance in a safe way,

due to their physical, sensorial or mental capacity or their lack of experience or knowledge,

must never use the appliance except if they are supervised by a person responsible for their

safety or if they previously received instructions concerning the safe use of the appliance.

Close supervision is necessary to prevent children from using the appliance as a toy.

 Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the appliance.

 Never use accessories which are not recommended by the producer. They could

constitute a danger to the user and risk to damage the appliance.

 Only use the appliance for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in these

instructions.

 Never let the children use the appliance when the brush head is not placed on the power

unit.

 The toothbrush in itself is not dangerous and can be used by a child or a non-responsible

person but you have to supervise and forbid children from manipulating the adapter since

it is connected directly to the mains supply. Please reinforce the supervision when the user

is near a water point.

 Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid. Your brush is protected against

splashes but not against a total immersion. The adapter should never be in contact with

water.

 Do not set up the charging base on the edge of a sink, a bath or a shower.

 Never use the appliance near hot surfaces.

 Before plugging in the adapter, check that your mains voltage corresponds to that of the

adapter. Never use any other adapter than that supplied with the appliance. Never use

the adapter for any other purpose.

 Do not use the appliance if the adapter or its cord is damaged. The adapter is not

repairable, it has to be returned to the seller during guarantee period or thrown away

when the guarantee has expired. In that case it has to be replaced by an identical

model.

 Never use the appliance with its adapter outside and always place it in a dry

environment.

 When you decide to dispose of the appliance, make sure to remove the battery and to

dispose of it in an ecological manner by handing it in at a place destined to this end. (see

the paragraph PROTECTING THE ENVIRONMENT).

 When you decide to throw out your appliance, first remove the battery in order to protect

the environment.

 The appliance has to be disconnected from the power supply when you remove the

battery.

FIXATION OF THE WALL-MOUNTED BRACKET

 Put the bracket against the wall.

 Take a pencil and mark a dot in each hole situated at the back of the bracket

 Take the bracket off the wall and drill a hole on each dot you just marked.

 Put a plug in the holes, put the bracket against the holes and screw it without forcing.

 To fix the appliance on the bracket, slide it from top to bottom in the appropriate slot



CONNECTING

 The charging unit can be connected to a conventional powerpoint- between 230-240

volts ac (-).

 Place the rechargeable power unit, facing the front onto the charging base.

 The green charge indicator will light up, when the power unit is inserted on the plugged-in

charging unit.

 The power unit may warm up somewhat during recharging. This has no significance on

the unit's operation. Overcharging is impossible.

 To maintain the power unit's full performance, it should always be stored on the charging

unit after use.

FIRST USE AND MAINTENANCE OF THE BATTERY

Before the first use and to prolong the life of the battery, it is necessary to charge it completely

during 16 hours, then to drain it fully during the use. Then recharge it completely. Once you

have done this, you can leave it on the charger base after each use. This process of full

charge/full drain should be repeated every 6 months.

If your battery is flat, it is necessary BEFORE CHARGING IT to check if the appliance is OFF.

Therefore, to check this, press the « I » switch and check that you hear a “Click”. Then press the

« O » switch and check that you hear a “Click”. Then you can charge the appliance.

HOW TO USE

 After the power unit has been fully charged, attach the attachable brush head to the

power unit.

 Before doing so, you may fix one of the coloured rings onto the end of the brush head.

 You may use regular toothpaste.

 To avoid splashing, switch the power unit on after guiding the brush head to your teeth.

 Then, move the brush head along the chewing surfaces of your teeth.

 Guide it along the outsides and then the insides of your teeth. Be sure to get into the

spaces between your teeth as well as along the gum line.

 You do not need to press hard. To thoroughly remove plaque, brush for at least 2 minutes.

After cleaning your teeth, rinse your mouth thoroughly again.

 During the first few days of using, your gums may bleed slightly, particularly if they normally

tend to do so. After a few days, the bleeding will generally stop. If your gums continue to

bleed after 2 weeks, you should see your dentist.

 Clinical tests have shown that the best cleaning effect is achieved by gently moving the

brush from tooth to tooth, without exerting pressure.

 A change in the shape of the brush is normal after use. This is influence by your individual

cleaning technique, but does not affect the efficiency of the brush.

CLEANING

 To maintain the function of the brush head, rinse thoroughly for several seconds with the

power unit switched on under running water after use.

 The power unit should only be wiped down with a moist cloth.

 After cleaning place the power unit back on charging base.

 Additionally, we recommend soaking the brush head in a denture cleaner (commercially

available) every 2 to 4 weeks to keep it hygienically clean.

DISPOSAL OF BATTERY

When you decide to throw out your appliance, first remove the battery in order to protect the

environment.

 Unscrew the bottom of the appliance and remove the plastic part that covers the battery.

 Remove the battery from the appliance and dispose of it in accordance with the

legislature.

 Pour fixer l‟appareil sur le support mural, faites-le glisser de haut en bas dans les rainures

appropriées.

RACCORDEMENT DE L'APPAREIL

 Le chargeur peut être raccordé à n'importe quelle prise de courant alternatif de 230-240

volts, y compris les prises pour rasoirs.

 Placer la brosse sur le chargeur.

 Le témoin vert de charge s'allume. S‟il ne s‟allumait pas, vérifier le positionnement de la

brosse ou si le chargeur est raccordé au secteur.

 La brosse rechargeable est susceptible de chauffer légèrement durant le processus de

charge, ce qui n'a aucune incidence sur son fonctionnement. La surcharge est exclue.

 Afin de garder à la brosse sa pleine puissance, toujours la replacer sur le chargeur après

usage.

PREMIERE UTILISATION ET ENTRETIEN DE LA BATTERIE

Avant la première utilisation, et pour prolonger la durée de vie de la batterie, il est nécessaire

de la charger durant 16 heures consécutives, puis de la décharger entièrement lors de la

première utilisation. La recharger ensuite au maximum. Une fois que vous avez fait ça, vous

pouvez la laisser sur le chargeur après chaque utilisation.

Ce processus de déchargement/chargement total est à répéter tous les six mois environ.

Avant de placer la brosse sur le chargeur, il est nécessaire, auparavant , de vérifier que

l'appareil est bien éteint. Pour cela appuyer sur le bouton «I» (bouton supérieur, le plus grand)

et vérifier que vous entendez bien un «CLIC». Appuyer ensuite sur le bouton «O» (bouton

inférieur, le plus petit) et vérifier que vous entendez bien un «CLIC». Après cela vous pouvez

mettre votre appareil en charge.

MODE D'EMPLOI DE LA BROSSE A DENTS

 Avant d'utiliser votre brosse à dents pour la première fois, mettez-la en charge pendant 16

heures au moins.

 Lorsqu'elle est chargée au maximum, fixez la tête de brosse emboîtable de votre choix sur

la brosse. Celle-ci doit être orientée dans la même direction que l'interrupteur « marche-

arrêt ».

 Avant de vous brosser les dents, rincez-vous soigneusement la bouche et humidifiez la tête

de brosse.

 Vous pouvez utiliser du dentifrice normal.

 Pour éviter les éclaboussures, ne mettez la brosse en marche qu'après avoir appliqué la

tête de brosse contre vos dents.

 Faites ensuite circuler la tête de brosse le long de la surface de vos dents.

 Guidez-la le long des faces internes et externes, en veillant à nettoyer également les

interstices et les bordures des gencives.

 Il n'est pas nécessaire d'appuyer fortement sur la brosse. Pour éliminer totalement la

plaque, brossez-vous les dents pendant deux minutes au moins. Après le brossage, rincez-

vous à nouveau la bouche avec soin.

 Durant les premiers jours d'utilisation de votre nouvelle brosse à dents électrique, il est

possible que vos gencives saignent légèrement, surtout si elles avaient déjà tendance à le

faire auparavant. Ce phénomène disparaît en général au bout de quelques jours. Si vos

gencives continuent de saigner au bout de deux semaines, nous vous recommandons de

consulter votre dentiste.

 Les tests cliniques ont montré que la méthode de nettoyage la plus efficace consiste à

faire passer la brosse doucement d'une dent à l'autre, sans appuyer.



 La forme de la brosse change avec le temps, ce qui est tout à fait normal et dépend aussi

de votre façon personnelle de vous brosser les dents. Cette déformation n'a toutefois

aucune incidence sur l'efficacité de la brosse.

NETTOYAGE

 Pour maintenir la tête de brosse en bon état de fonctionnement, rincez-la soigneusement

pendant plusieurs secondes sous le robinet.

 La brosse ne doit être nettoyée qu‟avec un chiffon légèrement humide.

 Après nettoyage, replacer la brosse sur le chargeur. Il est conseillé, par mesure d‟hygiène,

de systématiquement retirer la tête de brosse et de la ranger dans la boîte de rangement

prévu à cet effet.

 Nous vous conseillons également de mettre toutes les deux à quatre semaines la tête de

brosse à tremper dans un nettoyeur pour prothèse dentaire (produit disponible dans le

commerce).

BROSSES DE RECHANGE

Pour tout renouvellement de brosses, veuillez vous adresser au service après-vente dont les

coordonnées figurent sur votre carte de garantie.

ENLÈVEMENT DE LA BATTERIE

Lorsque vous décidez de mettre votre appareil au rebut, retirez au préalable la batterie par

souci de protection de l‟environnement.

 Dévissez le fond de l‟appareil et enlevez le couvercle de plastique qui couvre la

batterie.

 Retirez ensuite la batterie de l‟appareil et évacuez-la de manière conforme à la

législation locale.

PROTECTION DE L’ENVIRONNEMENT – DIRECTIVE 2002/96/CE

Afin de préserver notre environnement et notre santé, l‟élimination en fin de vie des appareils

électriques et électroniques doit se faire selon des règles bien précises et nécessite

l‟implication de chacun, qu‟il soit fournisseur ou utilisateur. C‟est pour cette raison que votre

appareil, tel que le signale le symbole apposé sur sa plaque signalétique ou sur

l'emballage, ne doit en aucun cas être jeté dans une poubelle publique ou privée destinée

BELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN

Lees de gebruiksaanwijzing aandachtig alvorens u uw toestel gebruikt.

Belangrijk: Personen (kinderen inbegrepen) die wegens hun fysieke, sensoriële of mentale

capaciteiten, of wegens hun gebrek aan ervaring of kennis, het toestel niet veilig kunnen

gebruiken, mogen dit toestel niet zonder toezicht of instructies van een verantwoordelijke

persoon gebruiken. Hou kinderen goed in het oog om te vermijden dat ze met het toestel

spelen.

 Controleer of de netspanning overeenkomt met deze van het toestel vooraleer het te

gebruiken.

 Gebruik geen accessoires die niet door de fabrikant aanbevolen werden. Dit kan

gevaarlijk zijn voor de gebruiker en het toestel beschadigen.

 Gebruik het toestel enkel voor huishoudelijk gebruik en op de wijze zoals vermeld in de

 De tandenborstel is op zich niet gevaarlijk en kan gebruikt worden door een kind of een

verstrengen wanneer de gebruiker zich in de buurt van water bevindt.

 Dompel het toestel nooit onder in water of in enige andere vloeistof. Uw tandenborstel is

beschermd tegen spatten maar niet tegen een volledige onderdompeling. De adapter

mag nooit in contact komen met water.

 Plaats de oplader nooit aan de rand van een wastofel, bad of douche.

 Gebruik het toestel niet in de nabijheid van warmtebronnen.

 Controleer vooraleer de adapter aan te sluiten of de netspanning ermee overeenkomt.

Gebruik enkel de met uw toestel meegeleverde adapter. Gebruik deze adapter niet voor

andere toepassingen.

 Gebruik uw toestel niet indien de adapter of het snoer enige beschadiging zouden

vertonen. De adapter kan niet hersteld worden. Gelieve hem tijdens de garantieperiode

bij de verkoper terug te brengen. Na de garantieperiode dient hij weggegooid te

worden. U kan de adapter door een identiek model vervangen.

 Gebruik het toestel met de adapter niet buiten. Berg het op in een droge plaats.

 Als uw toestel versleten is of als u besluit om het weg te gooien, haal er dan de

accumulatoren uit en gooi ze op een milieuvriendelijke wijze op de daartoe voorziene

plaats weg (zie hoofdstuk MILIEUBESCHERMING).

 Als u besluit om uw toestel weg te gooien, haal er dan eerst de batterij uit om het milieu te

beschermen.

 Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact alvorens de batterij te verwijderen.

 Gooi de batterij weg in overeenstemming met de wettelijke bepalingen.

 OPGELET: RAAK DE VLOEISTOF DIE UIT DE BATTERIJ KAN LEKKEN NIET AAN.

FIXATIE VAN DE MUURBEVESTIGING

 Plaats de muurbevestiging tegen de muur

 Neem een potlood en teken een punt in elk van de gaatjes van de muurbevestiging

 Verwijder de muurbevestiging en boor een gat op elk punt dat u juist hebt getekend.

 Steek een plug in de muur, plaats de muurbevestiging tegen de muur en vijs ze zonder te

forceren.

 Om het toestel op de muurbevestiging te plaatsen, schuif het van boven naar beneden in

de daartoe voorziene gleuf.

AANSLUITING

 De oplader kan op elk stopcontact worden aangesloten -zelfs stopcontacten- met een

uitgangsspanning van 230-240 v.

 Plaats de oplaadbare handunit met de voorzijde naar voren in de oplader.

 Het groene controlelampje gaat branden, wanneer de oplaadbare handunit in de

aangesloten oplader wordt geplaatst.

 Gedurende het oplaadproces kan het toestel enigszins warm worden. Dit is niet van

invloed op de werking van het toestel. Het toestel kan niet worden overbelast.

 Om het optimale vermogen van de oplaadbare handunit te behouden, moet deze na

gebruik altijd in de oplader worden geplaatst.

EERSTE GEBRUIK EN ONDERHOUD VAN DE BATTERIJ

Vóór het eerste gebruik is het noodzakelijk de batterij gedurende 16 uren volledig op te laden

en gedurende het gebruik volledig te ontladen om de levensduur van de batterij te verlengen.

Laad ze daarna opnieuw op. Wanneer u dit gedaan heeft, kunt u de batterij na elk gebruik op

de lader laten.

Dit opladen/ontladen proces moet elke 6 maanden herhaald worden.

Wanneer de batterij leeg is, is het noodzakelijk VÓÓR HET LADEN te controleren, of het toestel

uitgeschakeld is. Druk daarvoor op de toets I en controleer dat u een “KLIK” hoort. Druk dan op

de toets O en controleer dat u een “KLIK” hoort. Dan kunt u het toestel opladen.

GEBRUIK

 Nadat het toestel volledig is opgeladen, bevestigt u het opzetborsteltje op het toestel.

 Vooraleer u dat doet, kunt u eerst een van de gekleurde ringetjes bevestigen aan het

uiteinde van het opzetborsteltje. De borstelkop moet zich aan dezelfde kant bevinden als

de schakelaar.

 Spoel uw mond grondig met water en maak de borstelkop nat voordat u uw tanden gaat

poetsen.

 U kunt normale tandpasta gebruiken.

 Om spatten te voorkomen, zet u de tandenborstel aan, nadat u de borstelkop op uw

gebit heeft geplaatst.

 Beweeg vervolgens de borstelkop langs de kauwvlakken van uw gebit.

 Beweeg de borstelkop langs de buitenkant. Zorg ervoor dat u ook in de ruimtes tussen uw

tanden evenals langs uw tandvlees komt.

 U hoeft niet hard te drukken. Om plak grondig te verwijderen moet u uw tanden minimum

2 minuten lang poetsen. Spoel uw mond opnieuw grondig, nadat u uw tanden heeft

gepoetst.

Gedurende de eerste gebruiksdagen kan uw tandvlees licht bloeden, zeker wanneer uw

tandvlees daarvoor gevoelig is. Na een paar dagen stopt het bloeden over het

algemeen. Wanneer uw tandvlees na 2 weken nog bloedt, dient u een tandarts te

raadplegen.

 Klinische testen hebben aangetoond dat de beste reinigingsmethode wordt bereikt door

de borstelkop zachtjes van tand naar tand te bewegen, zonder druk uit te oefenen.

 Het is normaal dat de vorm van de borstel verandert na gebruik. Dat wordt veroorzaakt

door uw persoonlijke manier van tanden poetsen, maar dit is niet van invloed op de

doeltreffendheid van de borstel.



REINIGEN

 Om een optimale werking van het opzetborsteltje te behouden, dient u na het poetsen

het opzetborsteltje een aantal seconden onder een stromend water af te spoelen.

 Reinig het toestel slechts met een zachte, vochtige doek.

 Plaats het toestel na reiniging terug in de oplader.

 Tevens adviseren wij het opzetborsteltje elke 2 tot 4 weken te laten weken in gebitsreiniger

(verkrijgbaar bij drogist of apotheek) om deze hygiënisch schoon te houden.

VERVANGBORSTELS

Om nieuwe borstels te verkrijgen, gelieve de dienst naverkoop te contacteren. U vindt het

adres op de garantiekaart.

De referentie voor de borstels is “KA DB 4 brushes”.

WEGGOOIEN VAN DE BATTERIJ

Wanneer u besluit uw toestel weg te gooien, dient u eerst de batterij te verwijderen om het

milieu te beschermen.

 Schroef de onderkant van het toestel los en neem het plastic deel weg dat de batterij

bedekt.

 Verwijder de batterij uit het toestel en gooi ze weg in overeenstemming met de wettelijke

bepalingen.

MILIEUBESCHERMING – RICHTLIJN 2002/96/EG

Om ons milieu en onze gezondheid te beschermen, moet afgedankte elektrische en

elektronische apparatuur in overeenstemming met welbepaalde regels weggegooid worden.

Dit vergt zowel de inzet van de leveranciers als van de gebruikers. Daarom mag uw apparaat,

zoals op het typeplaatje of op de verpakking aangegeven door het symbool , niet met

het gewone huisvuil weggegooid worden. De gebruiker heeft het recht het toestel naar een

gemeentelijk centrum van gescheiden inzameling te brengen waar het overeenkomstig de

CONSEJOS DE SEGURIDAD

Importante: Las personas (incluidos niños) con incapacidades físicas, sensoriales o mentales, o

vigilancia de una persona responsable de su seguridad o si recibieron previamente

instrucciones con respecto al uso seguro del aparato.

 El cepillo consigo no es electrícamente peligroso y puede estar utilizada por un niño o

una persona no responsable, pero hay que vigilar e incluso prohibir el uso del cargador

porqué está conectado directamente con la red eléctrica. Esto se verifica aún más

cuando el utilizador está cerca de una fuente de agua.

 No sumerja nunca el aparato en el agua o en cualquier otro líquido ni para su limpieza ni

por cualquier otra razón. Su cepillo está protegido contra las proyecciones de agua pero

no contra una imersión total. El cargador nunca puede entrar en contacto con agua.

 No ponga el cargador a orillas de un fregadero, un baño o una ducha.

 No utilice el aparato cerca de fuentes de calor.

 Antes de enchufar el adaptador, compruebe que el voltaje de la red corresponde al del

aparato. No utilice el aparato nada más que con el adaptador que se suministra.

Asimismo no utilice este adaptador para otras funciones.

 No utilice su aparato si el adaptador o su cable están dañados. El adaptador no es

reparable y conviene devolverlo al vendedor durante el periodo de garantía y

desecharlo fuera de ese periodo. Conviene reemplazarlo entonces por un adaptador

idéntico.

 No utilice el aparato sin su adaptador en el exterior. Dejelo en un sitio seco.

 Cuando acabe la vida de su aparato o cuando decida tirarlo, recuerde extraer los

acumuladores y eliminarlos de manera ecológica depositándolos en un lugar previsto

 La batería debe estar retirada del aparato antes de tirarlo.

FIJACION DEL SOPORTE MURAL

 Coloque el soporte mural contra la pared.

 Tome un lapicero y marque un punto en la pared a través de cada agujero del soporte.

 Retire el soporte y haga un agujero en los puntos señalados.

 Introduzca una clavija en cada agujero, ponga el soporte mural contra los agujeros y

enrosque los tornillos sin forzarlos.

 Para colocar el aparato en el soporte mural, deslícelo de arriba a abajo a través de las

ranuras previstas.



CONEXIÓN

 La unidad de carga pude ser conectada a cualquier enchufe con corriente alterna de

230-240 voltios.

 Coloque la parte delantera de la unidad recargable sobre el cargador.

 El indicador de carga verde se iluminará, cuando la unidad principal esté insertada y la

unidad de carga enchufada.

 La unidad principal podría calentarse si la carga es duradera, lo cual no tiene ninguna

incidencia en su funcionamiento.

 Para conservar la unidad recargela toda, recolóquela en el cargador después de cada

uso.

PRIMERA UTILIZACION Y MANTENIMIENTO DE LA BATERIA

Antes de la primera utilizacion y a fin de prolongar la vida de la bateria es necesario que la

tenga cargando durante 16 horas seguidas, recargandola asi al maximo. Una vez hecho esto,

usted podra dejar su cepillo, sobre el cargador despues de cada uso.

Este proceso de carga/descarga se debe repetir cada seis meses (cargarlo durante 16 horas

ininterrumpidamente).

En caso de que su bateria este vacia, es necesario que antes de proceder a su carga

verifique que el aparato este bien conectado, para ello, pulse el interruptor «I» y conpruebe

que oye un CLIC. Pulse entonces el interruptor «O» y espera a oir el CLIC despues usted puede

proceder a la carga.

UTILIZACIÓN

 Antes de su primera utilización, cargue la unidad al menos durante 16 horas.

 Después de que esté completamente cargado, acople la parte separable del cepillo a

la unidad principal. La cabecera del cepillo debe ir en la misma dirección que el

interruptor.

 Antes de cepillarse sus dientes, enjuague su boca cuidadosamente y moje la cabecera

del cepillo.

 Puede utilizar una pasta de dientes corriente.

 Para evitar salpicaduras, encienda la unidad central una vez que el cepillo se encuentre

contra sus dientes.

 Mueva la cabecera a lo largo de la superficie de sus dientes tanto en la zona exterior

como el interior de sus dientes, entre los dientes y en el borde de las encías.

 No es preciso presionar fuertemente, cepille sus dientes por lo menos durante 2 minutos.

Después del cepillado, enjuague su boca cuidadosamente.

 Durante los primeros días de su uso, sus encías poden sangrar ligeramente,

particularmente si normalmente tienden a hacerlo. Este problema desaparece

generalmente, después de unos pocos días. Si sus encías continúan sangrando después

de dos semanas, le aconsejamos que consulte a su dentista.

 Los ensayos clínicos han demostrado que el método más eficaz de limpieza es pasar el

cepillo suavemente de un diente a otro sin presionar.

 Un cambio en la forma del cepillo es normal después de su uso. Esto es debido a la

técnica individual de limpieza de cada uno, pero esta deformación no afecta a la

eficiencia del cepillo.

LIMPIEZA

 Para mantener en buen estado la cabecera del cepillo, enjuáguela durante unos

instantes con la unidad principal encendida, en abundante agua después de su uso.

 La unidad principal no tiene que ser limpiando mas que con una balleta húmeda.



 Adicionalmente, le recomendamos empapar las cabeceras del cepillo en un limpiador

de dentaduras postizas (fácilmente accesible en el mercado) cada 2 ó 4 semanas para

mantener una limpieza más higiénica.

CEPILLOS DE RECAMBIO

Para obtener cepillos de recambio, le rogamos dirígese al servicio post-venta cuyos datos

SACAR LA BATERÍA

Cuando decida tirar su aparato, primero hay que sacar la batería por razones de protección

del medio ambiente.

 Destornille el fondo del aparato y saque la tapa de protección de plástico que cubre la

batería.

 Luego saque la batería y tírelo de manera conforme con la legislación vigente.

PROTECCIÓN DEL MEDIO AMBIENTE –DIRECTIVA 2002/96/CE

Para poder preservar nuestro medio ambiente y proteger la salud humana, los residuos

eléctricos y equipos electrónicos deberían ser destruidos de acuerdo con unas normas

especificas con la implicación de ambos proveedores y consumidores. Por esta razón, como

indica el símbolo en la placa de datos técnicos, su aparato no debería ser tirado en un

contenedor municipal sino que debería ser devuelto a la tienda, o dejado en un punto de

PARA A SUA SEGURANÇA

Antes de utilizar o aparelho leia com sentido de responsabilidade as instruções de

funcionamento.

Importante: As pessoas (incluídas as crianças) com incapacidades físicas, sensoriais ou

mentais, ou sem experiência ou conhecimento não devem utilizar o aparelho excepto se

estiverem vigiadas por uma pessoa responsável pela sua segurança ou se receberam

previamente instruções relativas ao uso seguro do aparelho.

Convém vigiar as crianças para que elas não brinquem com o aparelho.

 Confirme se a tensão eléctrica que vai utilizar é igual à indicada na placa sinalética do

aparelho

 Não utilizar acessórios que não sejam recomendados pelo fabricante, pois pode

representar perigo para o utilizador e pode danificar o aparelho.

 Utilize o aparelho unicamente para fins domésticos e da maneira indicada no folheto.

 A escova em si não representa perigo eléctrico, pode assim ser utilizada por uma

criança sozinha ou mesmo por uma pessoa não responsável mas tenha o cuidado de

vigiar a utilização do carregador visto que este está directamente ligado a corrente. Tal

torna-se ainda mais perigoso devido a proximidade de água.

 Nunca mergulhe o aparelho em água ou em qualquer outro líquido. A sua escova está

protegida contra salpicos de água mas não quanto à imersão total da escova. O

carregador nunca deve ficar em contacto com água.

 Nunca deixar o carregador no rebordo do lava mãos, banheira ou cabine de duche.

 Não utilize o aparelho perto de fontes de calor.

 Antes de ligar o carregador verifique que a potência da tomada são iguais à potência

do aparelho. Utilize o seu aparelho unicamente com o carregador fornecido. Não utilize

o carregador para outras aplicações que não sejam a escova.

 Não utilize o aparelho com o cabo da alimentação ou o carregador danificados.

Quando o carregador estiver danificado e em período de garantia desloque-se à loja

onde o comprou para que seja substituído. Fora do período da garantia coloque o

velho no eco ponto apropriado e compre um carregador novo nas lojas da

especialidade.

 Não utilize o aparelho no exterior. Guarde-o em local seco.

 No fim da vida do aparelho ou quando decidir eliminá-lo tenha o cuidado de retirar a

bateria da escova e destrui-la de maneira ecológica deixando-a num local indicado

para tal (ler o parágrafo PROTECÇÃO DO AMBIENTE).

 A bateria deve ser retirada do aparelho no fim da sua vida útil.

 O aparelho não deve ser colocado à carga sem a bateria.

 A bateria deve ser destruída de modo ecológica e de acordo com a legislação.

 ATENÇÃO : NÃO TOQUE NO LÍQUIDO QUE POSSA SER DERRAMADO PELA BATERIA.

SUPORTE MURAL

 Coloque o suporte na parede.

 Com um lápis assinale cada um dos buracos do suporte.

 Retire o suporte e abra um buraco nos pontos assinalados.

 Introduza uma bucha em cada um dos buracos,coloque o suporte na parede e aperte

os parafusos sem forçar.

 Para fixar o aparelho deslize-o de cima para baixo nas ranhuras apropriadas.



LIGAÇAO DO APARELHO

 O aparelho pode ser ligado a qualquer tomada de 230-240 volts, incluindo a tomada

para máquina de barbear.

 Coloque a escova no carregador.

 A luz indicadora de carga acende-se com uma luz verde. Se não ligar, verifique a

posição da escova ou se carregador esta ligado à corrente.

 A escova recarregável pode aquecer um pouco quando estiver em carga, o que não

põe em causa o seu funcionamento. A sobrecarga está posta de parte.

 Afim de manter a sua escova na sua potência máxima, coloque-a sempre no carregador

após a sua utilização.

PRIMEIRA UTILIZAÇÃO E MANUTENCÃO DA BATERIA

Antes da primeira utilização, e para prolongar a vida da sua bateria, é necessário carregá-la

durante 16 horas seguidas, e deixá-la descarregar por completo na primeira utilização.

Recarregue-a de seguida ao máximo. Depois de ter feito o recomendado poderá deixa-la

sobre o carregador após cada utilização.

Deve-se repetir este processo de descarga/recarga total todos os seis meses

aproximadamente.

Antes de colocar a escova no carregador, é necessário verificar se o aparelho está

efectivamente desligado. Para tal carregue no botão “I” (botão superior, o maior) e verifique

que ouve um «CLIC». Carregue de seguida no botão “O” (botão inferior, o mais pequeno) e

verifique que ouve bem um «CLIC». Depois da verificação pode por o seu aparelho a

carregar

MODO DE EMPREGO DA ESCOVA DE DENTES

 Antes de utilizar pela primeira vez a sua escova de dentes deixe-a carregar pelo menos,

16 horas seguidas.

 Quando estiver com carga no máximo, coloque a cabeça de limpeza escolhida na

escova de dentes. Esta deve estar colocada no mesmo sentido que o botão “I – O”.

 Antes de escovar os dentes, limpe cuidadosamente a boca e humidifique a cabeça de

limpeza.

 Pode utilizar pasta de dentes normal.

 Para evitar os salpicos, só ponha a funcionar a cabeça depois de a mesma estar em

contacto com os seus dentes.

 De seguida faça mover a cabeça ao longo da superfície dos seus dentes.

 Movimente-a ao longo das faces internas e externas, limpando entre os dentes e a

gengivas.

 Não é necessário carregar com muita força na escova. Para eliminar totalmente a placa,

escova os dentes durante pelo menos dois minutos. Depois da escovagem, volte a limpar

a boca cuidadosamente.

 Inicialmente durante os primeiros dias de utilização da sua escova de dentes eléctrica, é

possível que as suas gengivas sangrem um pouco, principalmente se já anteriormente tal

acontecia. Este fenómeno desaparece após alguns dias. Se as suas gengivas

continuarem a sangrar após duas semanas aconselhamos que consulte o seu dentista.

 Testes clínicos mostram que a técnica mais eficaz da limpeza é a de passar a escova

lentamente dente após dente sem carregar demasiado.

 O formato da escova muda com o tempo, o que é totalmente normal e depende

também da sua maneira pessoal de escovar os dentes. Estas mudanças no entanto não

põem em causa a eficácia da escova.



LIMPEZA

 Para manter a cabeça em bom estado de funcionamento, limpe-a cuidadosamente

com água da torneira.

 A escova deve ser limpa unicamente com um pano húmido.

 Depois de limpa coloque novamente a escova no carregador. É aconselhável por razões

de limpeza retirar e guardar a cabeça da limpeza dos dentes na caixa prevista para tal.

 Aconselhamos-lhe também a mergulhar todas as duas a quatro semanas a cabeça de

limpeza num recipiente onde se limpa as próteses dentárias (produto disponível no

comércio).

SUBSTITUIÇÃO DAS ESCOVAS

Na substituição das escovas, contacte o revendedor ou o serviço pós-venda indicado na

garantia.

A referência das escovas para o aparelho KA DB 4 é a KA DB 4 BRUSHES.

RETIRAR A BATERIA

Assim que o aparelho atinja o seu fim de vida útil e tenha de se desfazer do aparelho, retire

previamente a bateria por questões ambientais.

 Desaparafuse a base do aparelho e retire a tampa plástica que proteje a bateria.

 Retire depois a bateria do alojamento e coloque-a nos locais apropriados para tal, no

cumprimento da legislação.

AVVERTENZE

Leggere attentamente le istruzioni prima di utilizzare l‟apparecchio.

 Lo spazzolino di per sè non è pericoloso, può essere usato anche dai bambini ma

controllate che questi non tocchino l‟adattatore quando lo spazzolino è in funzione.

Prestate maggiore attenzione se siete in vicinanza di acqua.

 Non immergere mai l‟apparecchio in acqua o in qualsiasi altro liquido. Lo spazzolino è

protetto dagli schizzi d‟ acqua ma non dall‟ immersione totale. L‟adattatore non deve

mai essere a contatto con l‟ acqua.

 Non deporre il caricabatterie nelle vicinanze di un lavandino, una vasca o di un

contenitore pieno d‟acqua.

 Non lasciare l‟apparecchio in prossimità di sorgenti di calore.

 Prima di collegare il caricabatterie, controllare che la tensione della rete corrisponda a

quella indicata sulla targa dati del caricabatterie stesso. Utilizzare soltanto il caricabatterie

fornito con il vostro apparecchio. Non utilizzare tale adattatore per altre applicazioni.

 Non utilizzare l‟apparecchio se si dovessero notare danneggiamenti al caricabatterie o al

cavo.

 Non lasciare l‟apparecchio all‟aperto, e dopo l‟utilizzo riporlo in un luogo asciutto.

 Prima di gettare l‟apparecchio è necessario provvedere allo smaltimento delle batterie,

secondo quanto previsto dalle norme in vigore. (vedere la DIRETTIVA 2002/96/CE PER LO

SMALTIMENTO DELLE APPARECCHIATURE ELETTRICHE ED ELETTRONICHE)

 Quando si decide di buttare via l‟apparecchio rimuovere la batteria perchè questa è

dannosa per l‟ambiente.

 L‟apparecchio deve essere scollegato dalla presa della corrente quando si rimuove la

batteria.

 Liberarsi della batteria rispettando la le norme in vigore.

 ATTENZIONE: NON TOCCARE IL LIQUIDO CHE POTREBBE FUORIUSCIRE DALLA BATTERIA.

INTALLAZIONE DEL SUPPORTO MURALE

 Posizionare il supporto murale contro la parete, nella posizione in cui intendete fissarlo

 Utilizzando una matita, segnate un punto sul muro, in corrispondenza delle asole di

fissaggio del supporto

 Praticare un foro in corrispondenza di ciascun foro praticato ed inserire i rispettivi tasselli

all‟interno dei fori

 Posizionare il supporto murale contro la parete e bloccarlo ai tasselli mediante le apposite

viti, senza forzare.

 Agganciare l‟apparecchio al supporto murale facendolo scorrere dall‟alto verso il basso

in modo che questo si inserisca nell‟apposita sede.



COLLEGAMENTO

 Il caricabatterie può essere collegato a qualunque presa di corrente che fornisca

tensione 230-240V.

 Posizionare l‟unità di alimentazione sul caricabatterie nell‟apposito alloggiamento,

collegare il caricabatterie alla presa di corrente e la spia verde luminosa si accende.

 L'unità di alimentazione può riscaldarsi leggermente durante il caricamento, senza

causare danni di funzionamento: un dispositivo impedisce all‟apparecchio il caricamento

eccessivo delle batterie.

 A fine di ottenere sempre la massima potenza, dopo l'uso posizionare sempre lo spazzolino

sul caricabatterie.

 In caso di guasto respingere l‟apparecchio ad un ns. centro di assistenza tecnica.

PRIMO UTILIZZO E MANUTENZIONE CARICABATTERIE

Prima di utilizzare lo spazzolino elettrico per la prima volta, lasciarlo sotto carica per almeno 16

ore, dopodiché scaricarlo completamente con l‟utilizzo, senza posizionarlo sul caricabatterie.

Successivamente è possibile ricaricarlo posizionandolo sull‟apposito caricabatteria dopo ogni

utilizzo.

Il procedimento di carica/scarica completa della batteria è da effettuare ogni sei mesi circa.

Prima di mettere in carica lo spazzolino, assicurasi che lo stesso sia spento. Se non è inserita la

batteria, prima di inserirla controllate che l‟ apparecchio sia spento ; premete« I » «ON» e

udirete un click, poi premete il tasto « O » «OFF» e udirete un altro “Click”. A questo punto

l„apparecchio può essere messo in funzione.

UTILIZZO

 Prima di utilizzare lo spazzolino elettrico per la prima volta, lasciarlo sotto carica per

almeno 16 ore.

 Una volta caricato, fissare la testa dello spazzolino sull'unità di alimentazione, la quale

deve essere orientata nello stesso senso dell‟interruttore.

 Prima di lavare i denti, risciacquare accuratamente la bocca e inumidire lo spazzolino.

 Si può usare una pasta dentifricia normale.

 Per evitare schizzi, non mettere in funzione lo spazzolino prima di averlo appoggiato

contro i denti.

 Far scorrere lo spazzolino lungo le superfici dei denti, senza premere fortemente.

 Non è necessario premere in modo energico contro i denti per ottenere buoni risultati, è

sufficiente passare lo spazzolino per almeno due minuti. Dopo il lavaggio risciacquare la

bocca con cura.

 Durante i primi giorni di utilizzo dello spazzolino elettrico, è possibile che le gengive

sanguinino leggermente, soprattutto se sono molto sensibili. In generale questo fenomeno

si esaurisce entro qualche giorno. Se il sintomo persiste, si consiglia di consultare un

dentista.

 Test clinici hanno dimostrato che per effettuare una pulizia efficace bisogna passare

delicatamente lo spazzolino tra i denti.

 La forma dello spazzolino cambia con il passare del tempo. Questo è del tutto normale e

dipende anche dal modo in cui ognuno si lava i denti. Tuttavia questa deformazione non

incide sull'efficacia del lavaggio.



PULIZIA

 Per mantenere la testa dello spazzolino in buone condizioni, dopo l'uso risciacquarlo

accuratamente per qualche secondo, mantenendo l‟apparecchio in moto.

 L'unità di alimentazione può essere pulita con un panno morbido leggermente inumidito.

 Si consiglia di immergere la testa dello spazzolino in un prodotto per protesi dentaria

(disponibile in commercio) ogni due/quattro settimane.

RICAMBIO SPAZZOLINO

Per acquistare le setole di ricambio contattate un centro assistenza, troverete l‟ indirizzo e il

numero di telefono sulla garanzia.

I riferimenti per le setole sono KA DB 4 a quattro spazzole.

SMALTIMENTO DELLE BATTERIE

Quando si decide di buttare via l‟ apparecchio rimuovere la batteria perchè questa è

dannosa per l‟ ambiente.

 Svitare il fondo dell‟ apparecchio e rimuovere la parte di plastica che ricopre la batteria.

 Rimuovere la batteria dall‟ apposito dispositivo rispettando le norme in vigore.

DIRETTIVA 2002/96/CE PER LO SMALTIMENTO DELLE APPARECCHIATURE ELETTRICHE ED

ELETTRONICHE

Per preservare l'ambiente e la nostra salute, i vecchi apparecchi elettrici e elettronici non più

utilizzati devono essere smaltiti secondo la direttiva sopra citata che impone l'obbligo al

costruttore, al commerciante e all'utilizzatore di consegnare gli apparecchi ai centri di

raccolta specializzati, i quali saranno in grado di smaltire e riciclare i vecchi prodotti come la

Per questa ragione troverete apposto sulla targhetta identificativa o sull'imballaggio il simbolo

che indica di non gettare il vecchio apparecchio in pattumiera o nel cassonetto delle

immondizie.

Per eliminare il vecchio apparecchio non più utilizzato, potete consegnarlo al rivenditore il

cambio di quello nuovo acquistato, o direttamente nei centri di raccolta specializzati messi a

disposizione dal vostro comune di residenza.
