4 Permanent settings in programming mode
In the programme item ‘Machine settings’/ ‘Operating instructions’
you can define whether the operating instructions on how to use the
professional fine foam frother and hot-water nozzle should be dis-
played during preparation.
Example:How to stop the operating instructions from being dis-
played.
Precondition:The start screen is displayed.
T Touch ‘P’.
‘Machine settings’
T Touch ‘Machine settings’.
‘Switch off after’
T Move your finger across the display until ‘Operating instruc-
tions’ is displayed in the centre.
T Touch ‘Operating instructions’.
‘Operating instructions’
T Now move your finger across the controller and set it to ‘0’.
T Touch ‘Save’.
‘Saved’ appears briefly on the display.
‘Operating instructions’
T Touch ‘Back’ the number of times needed to display the start
screen again.
In the programme item ‘Machine settings’ / ‘Factory setting’ the
machine can be reset to its factory setting. Your S8/S80 then
switches off.
Precondition:The start screen is displayed.
T Touch ‘P’.

T Touch ‘Machine settings’.
‘Switch off after’
T Move your finger across the display until ‘Factory setting’ is
displayed in the centre.
T Touch ‘Factory setting’.
‘Factory setting’ / ‘Reset the machine to the factory set-
tings?’
T Touch ‘Yes’.
‘Saved’ appears briefly on the display.
Your S8/S80 is switched off.
