4 Permanent settings in programming mode
Example:Proceed as follows to make the machine prompt you to
rinse the milk system immediately after preparing a speciality cof-
fee with milk.
Precondition:
‘Please select product:’ is displayed.
O T Press the P button.
‘Maintenance status (1/6)’
g T Turn the Rotary Switch until the programme item ‘Mainte-
nance settings (3/6)’
is displayed.
T Press the
‘Rinse the milk system’ button.

T Press the ‘Immediate’ button.

‘Save’ button.
‘Saved’ appears briefly on the display.

In the programme item ‘Machine settings 1 (4/6)’/ ‘Save energy’ you
can permanently set an energy-saving mode:

‘Inactive’
U
All speciality coffees, speciality coffees with milk and hot
water can be prepared without having to wait.
U
The machine must heat up before milk preparation.
U
‘Active’ (Energy saving of up to 40%)
U
Soon after the last preparation, the JURA stops heating up.
As soon as the energy-saving temperature is reached, this is
indicated in the display by the message
‘Energy Save’ – this
may take several minutes.
U
The machine must heat up before coffee, hot water or milk
preparation.
Example: Proceed as follows to change the energy-saving mode
from
‘Inactive’ to ‘Active’.
