Hi-Fi Audio Recording Level
Control
Your VCR allows manual adjustment of the Hi-Fi audio
recording level. Although the preset audio recording level is
satisfactory for normal recording, if the sound you are going to
record is too loud or too low, adjust the audio recording level
while referring to the VCR's audio level meters.

Move the highlight bar (arrow) to "HI-FI REC LEVEL
CTL" by pressing CH 5∞ or TIME SCAN %fi, then
press OK or TIME SCAN .

pressing CH 5∞ or TIME
SCAN %fi, then press OK

Press TIME SCAN % or fi.
● To move the on-screen's audio levels by one division
of the scale, press TIME SCAN % or TIME SCAN fi
briefly for 5 times in succession. To move the audio
levels faster, keep TIME SCAN % or TIME SCAN fi
presssed.
● Adjust the recording level while watching the VCR's
audio level meters. Set the level so that maximum
volume causes the meters to vary between 0dB to 4dB.
RETURN TO NORMAL

NOTE:
●
Noise will increase if the recording level is too low, while
distortion will increase if the level is too high.
