2.3SafetyInformationonElectromagnetic
Interference
Thispoweredmobilitydevicewassuccessfullytestedin
accordancewithInternationalstandardsastoitscompliance
withElectromagneticInterference(EMI)regulations.
However,electromagneticelds,suchasthosegeneratedby
radioandtelevisiontransmitters,andcellularphonescan
inuencethefunctionsofpoweredmobilitydevices.Also,
theelectronicsusedinourmobilitydevicescangeneratea
lowlevelofelectromagneticinterference,whichhowever
willremainwithinthetolerancepermittedbylaw.For
thesereasonsweaskyoutopleaseobservethefollowing

Onlyeverdrivedownhillatamaximumof2/3

acceleratingongradients.
Ifatallpossible,avoiddrivingonwet,slippery,
icy,oroilysurfaces(suchassnow,gravel,
iceetc.)wherethereisariskofyoulosing
controloverthemobilitydevice,especiallyon
agradient.Thismayincludecertainpaintedor
otherwisetreatedwoodsurfaces.Ifdrivingon
suchasurfaceisinevitable,thenalwaysdrive

aboutttingandusage.
Theposturebeltisusedtohelpthemobilitydeviceuser
keepanoptimumseatingposition.Correctuseofthe
beltassiststheuserinsittingsecurely,comfortablyand
well-positionedinthemobilitydevice,especiallyforsuch
userswhodonothavesuchagoodsenseofbalancewhile
sitting.
Werecommendusingtheposturebeltwheneverthe
mobilitydeviceisused.

Yourmobilitydevicecanbettedwiththefollowingposture
