KEY INDEX
4Paper Feed:
Advance the paper roll.
5 Foreign currency: Convert the displayed value to
foreign currency.
6 Local currency: Convert the displayed value to local
currency.
7 Rate: Exchange rate setting.
8TAX Plus: Calculate an amount including VAT with
VAT rate preset by
RATE key.
9TAX Minus: Calculate an amount excluding VAT
with VAT rate preset by
RATE key.
10 Digit shift: Shifts right the displayed number per
digit before any function key is pressed. It allows you
to correct a mistaken digit entry without clearing the
entire display.
11 Sign change: Change the displayed number from
plus to minus and minus to plus.
12 1214X. Gross Profit Margin: To calculate the true
retail price from the cost price and a desired gross
margin.
13 Clear Entry /Clear
CE: Clear the last number (displayed number)
entered before any function key is pressed
C:Clear all except memory content and grand total
memory.
14 Double zero
15 Decimal point:
Set the decimal point.
16 Subtraction
17 Addition
18 1221X. Non-Add/Print:
Print displayed content
and does not perform calculation; prints the figure in
the display even if the print switch is in “NP” position.
19 Subtotal: Obtain intermediate result of addition and
subtraction.
20 Total: Obtain total result of addition and subtraction.
Pressing this key clears the total register. When this
key is pressed with the “GT” switch engaged, the
result is accumulated automatically in the memory
register.
21 Percentage: Convert percentage to the decimal
value; also, convert for add-on and discount
calculation.
22 Division
23 Multiplication
24 Equal:
To get the result in multiplication or division.
25 Memory Clear: Clear the memory content after
recalling its contents to the display and/or to printed
paper.
26 Memory Recall: Recall the memory content to the
display and/or to printed paper.
27 Memory Minus: Subtract the displayed number or
calculated result from the memory.
28 Memory Plus: Accumulate the displayed number or
calculated result directly in the memory.
29 Clock / Date: Set the time and date as required.
30 1221X. Cost, Sell, Margin: To calculate cost,
selling price or profit margin.
31 Reset: If the calculator malfunctions, use the tip of a
ball point pen (or similar sharp object) to press the
“RESET” button at the back of the calculator. After
resetting, be sure to set the calendar, clock and text
rate again (if available)
