1.Safety and Precautions
◆ Switch off the phone in the vicinity of chemical plants, gas stations and other locations containing
explosive objects.
◆ Keep the phone far away from children.
◆ When driving, please use the hands free calling device (purchased separately) to ensure safety.
Please park the car at roadside for communication unless in emergency.
◆ Switch off the phone when boarding an aeroplane and do not switch the phone on during the flight.
◆ Be careful when using the mobile phone in the vicinity of such devices as pacemakers, hearing aids
and other electro-medical equipment, which may be interfered by the mobile phone.
◆ No guarantee for the accessories and parts not produced by the original factory.
◆ Never attempt to disassemble the phone by yourself. Contact the supplier in case of any trouble
with your mobile phone.
◆ Do not recharge the phone without battery being installed.
◆ Charge the phone in well-ventilated environment and keep away from inflammable and high
explosive articles.
◆ To avoid demagnetization, keep the handset away from magnetic substances, such as magnetic
discs or credit cards.
◆ Keep the phone away from liquid. If soaking or erosion occurs, take the battery out and contact the
supplier.
◆ Avoid using the phone in too high or too low temperature environments. Never leave the phone
exposed under direct sunlight, in high humidity or in a dusty environment.
◆ Do not use liquid or a damp cloth with strong detergents to clean the handset.
Charging your battery
Your device is powered by a rechargeable battery. The full performance of a new battery is achieved only
after two or three complete charge and discharge cycles. The battery can be charged and discharged
hundreds of times but it will eventually wear out. When the talk and standby times are noticeably shorter
than normal, replace the battery. Use only approved batteries and recharge your battery only with
approved chargers designated for this device.
If a replacement battery is being used for the first time or if the battery has not been used for a long period,
it may be necessary to connect the charger, disconnect it and then reconnect it to begin charging the
battery.
Unplug the charger from the electrical plug and the device when not in use. Do not leave a fully charged
battery connected to a charger, since overcharging may shorten its lifetime. If left unused, a fully charged
battery will lose its charge over time.
If the battery is completely discharged, it may take a few minutes before the charging indicator appears on
the display or before any calls can be made.
Use the battery only for its intended purpose. Never use any charger or battery that is damaged.
Do not short-circuit the battery. Accidental short-circuiting will occur when a metallic object such as a

coin, clip, or pen causes direct connection of the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals of the battery.
(These look like metal strips on the battery.) This might happen, for example, when you carry a spare
battery in your pocket or purse. Short-circuiting the terminals may damage the battery or the connecting
object.
Leaving the battery in hot or cold places, such as in a closed car in summer or winter conditions, will
reduce the capacity and lifetime of the battery. Always try to keep the battery between 15°C and 25°C
(59°F and 77°F). A device with a hot or cold battery may not work temporarily, even when the battery is
fully charged. Battery performance is particularly limited in temperatures well below freezing.
Do not dispose of batteries in a fire as they may explode. Batteries may also explode if damaged.
Dispose of batteries according to local regulations. Please recycle when possible. Do not dispose as
household waste.
Note: Actual operation time of the battery varies according to operation mode, network settings
and call settings.
Procedure for battery charging
■ Connect the charger to a main socket and insert the charging plug into the right-side socket of the
phone in the proper direction.
■ The phone will display " " and start charging after it is properly connected. The battery icon will
display the charging process visually.
■ When switched off, the phone will display the charging process visually.
■ When the phone battery is fully charged, the charging process stops automatically and the battery
icon indicates a full grid on the screen. After the battery is fully charged, please unplug the phone
as soon as possible and take off the charging plug.
Note:
1. After the phone has run out of battery, we recommend you recharge in time.
2. To ensure safety, do not change the parts and accessories of the battery by yourself or take off the
battery shell.
3. We suggest you only use the original battery supplied with your phone by our company to avoid any
damage to your phone.
4. The temperature range for charging the phone is 0℃-40℃. Do not charge the battery in too high or too
low temperatures.
5. Do not use the mobile phone during charging. Keep the phone away from charger before you use it.
6. Please don’t keep charging for a long time. Pull out the charger quickly after the battery is fully
charged.

3. Installation Instructions
What is a SIM card?
When registering your mobile phone number, you will have a SIM card (Subscriber Identity Module)
provided by the network supplier.
Please handle the SIM card with care, twisting or pressing it may cause damage. If it is lost, please
contact your network operator immediately for help.
Note: A SIM card can be easily damaged if its metal contacts become scratched. Therefore, take
special care when holding or inserting it and keep it away from small children.
Installing your SIM card
Switch off your phone before installing the SIM card. To install the SIM card at the back of the phone,
follow the steps below:
1. Take the back cover off by pushing down on the grooves, sliding the cover off.
2. Put the card into the groove gently and push it down until it doesn't move.
PIN
You cannot activate the PIN setting of the SIM card in EASYUSE. It needs to be activated in a normal
phone. If the PIN protection function is enabled, the screen will display “Enter PIN” each time the
phone is switched on. You need to input the correct code and press the MENU key to continue.
PIN is the password provided by your network operator. It is usually 4 digits. When you input the PIN
code, the screen displays “*” to replace the number entered.
<Warning>: If you enter the PIN incorrectly three times in a row, the SIM card will be locked. Please
contact your network operator immediately for decoding. Attempting to decode by yourself may result
in the permanent failure of the SIM card.

4. Brief Introduction
Communication control keys
Calling key is used to make a call after a number has been entered or selected from the phone book, or to
answer an incoming call. In idle screen, press calling key to display recent calls. In talking mode, you
can press calling key to enter hands free mode.
Ending key is used to end a call during calling or conversation, or to quit the menu and return to idle
screen. Press and hold the ending key for about two seconds to turn the phone on/off.
In talking mode, press Side Key A to increase the volume, press Side Key B to decrease the volume.
Memory key, Menu key and Numeric key
Memory Key
Memory keys from M1 to M4 are used to set the speed-dialing numbers.
The length of a speed-dial number does not go over 16 digits.
Menu Key
Menu key is used to enter some functions: Phone Book, SMS, Ring Tone Settings and Time and Date
Settings. It is also used to set the parameters or confirm an operation.
Numeric Key
Numeric keys from 0 to 9 and symbol keys * and # are used to input the number or password.
Pressing "*" key in standby mode can input "+" or "P" or "W" symbol.
Pressing and holding "*" key for more than two seconds in standby mode can lock the keypad; pressing
and holding this key for another two seconds can unlock the keypad.
Pressing and holding "#" key for more than two seconds in standby mode can enable the silent function;
pressing and holding this key for another two seconds can resume the previous mode.

5. Operating Instructions
Switch on Your EASYUSE
The phone can be switched on by pressing and holding the ending key, and then the power-on animation
is displayed on the screen. If the SIM card and phone have no password protection, it will automatically
search the network. After searching and registering the network successfully, it enters the standby mode
and the user can make or answer a call.
If the phone fails to find the network, it remains in the limited-service state.
If the screen displays “ ” after it is switched on, please switch the phone off and check whether the
SIM card is properly installed.
If a password or PIN code for the phone is required after it is switched on, please input the correct one,
and “*”will be displayed on the screen as the content during the entry. Then press MENU key for
confirmation. Please contact your network supplier if you do not know the PIN code.
Switch off Your EASYUSE
Press and hold the ending key to turn the phone off. After the switch-off animation is displayed on the
screen, the phone will be switched off.
Enter functions
In idle mode, you can enter the following functions (Phone Book, SMS, Ring Tone Settings, Time and
Date Settings) in turn by pressing the MENU key consecutively.
Making a Call
There are three ways to make a call:
1. When the handset is in standby mode, press and hold the memory key from M1 to M4 to dial the
phone number stored in the memory key.
2. Press the memory key, and then press the call key to dial the phone number stored in the memory key.
3. In standby mode, press the MENU key to enter the Phone Book, and select a record from the list.
Press the calling key to make a call.
Emergency call: When the handset is switched on, you can dial the emergency number by pressing
and holding the call key, whether the SIM card is in the handset or not.
Recent Calls
The phone can save 10 recent call numbers. Press the calling key in standby mode to display the call
numbers. You can press the calling key to dial a desired number directly by selecting it with side key A
or side key B.
Missed Calls
When you have missed calls, the main screen will show this and you can access the list to view the
missed calls by pressing the MENU key.
Setting Ring Volume
When the handset is in standby mode, you can press Side Key A to increase the volume and press Side
Key B to decrease the volume of the ring tone.

Storing Phone Numbers
There are two ways to store the user-defined numbers.
1. In the standby screen, you can input the phone numbers by pressing the numeric keys. Press one key
of M1~M4 memory keys to enter a confirm window of “ ”, and then press the MENU key; the
numbers will then be stored into the memory key. You can cancel the action by the ending key.
2. In the standby screen, input the numbers. You can press the MENU key to enter the Phone Book.
Select an available place in the list by the side key A/B, and then press the MENU key to store it. You
can return to the standby screen by pressing the ending key.
Note: The storage capacity of the phone is 45.
Reading and Deleting SMS
In idle screen, press the MENU key twice to enter the SMS list. Select a record in the list by side key
A/B, and then press the calling key to read the message. Press the MENU key and the phone displays
“ ” to ask you whether to delete the message. Press the MENU key, and the message is deleted. You
can return to the idle screen by pressing the ending key.
Setting the Ring Tone
In the screen of ring tone settings, there are nine ring tones. You can preview and select one of them by
pressing the Side Key A/B. Press the MENU key to enter the next function, or press the ending key to
return to the standby screen.
Setting the Time and Setting Date:
In the screen of time and date settings, you can select the highlight item by the side key A/B. Press the
MENU key to enter the edit window. If you want to save the result, please press the MENU key. You can
return to the standby screen by pressing the ending key.

Appendix II Abbreviations and explanations
GSM Global System of Mobile Communication.
SIM Subscriber Identity Module.
PIN Personal Identity Number. Usually refers to PIN1. Supplied with SIM card. Used to
unlock the SIM card.
PUK Personal Unlock Code. Supplied with SIM card. It is used to unlock the SIM card if
you input wrong PIN code three times consecutively and the SIM card is locked. You
can also use it to modify PIN code.

    • Zet je telefoon in Standby door op het rode telefoontje te drukken.
      Druk dan lang (zeker 3 tellen) op het hekje# . Je hoort de trilfunctie aan gaan en je ziet ook op de display het icoontje trillen(2 bliksems) verschijnen.
      Druk dan nogmaals lang op het hekje#. Je hoort opnieuw de trilfunctie aan gaan en je ziet op de display het icoontje trillen met daar tussenin een muzieknoot. Dat is de functie trillen + geluid.
      Om terug naar normaal te gaan (enkel geluid) : druk nogmaals lang op hekje#.

  • Dag mensen, heb hier enkele problemen. Heb net voor mijn moeder een gsm easyu se aangekocht. De handleiding is in het engels. Maar nu probeer ik nummers in de M1 enz... te zetten, zodat mijn moeder enkel op één knop hoeft te drukken bij noodgevallen, maar hoe kan ik er een telefoonnummer opslaan? Ook in het telefoonboek kan ik geen nummers opslaan. Het lukt me ook niet om naar de sms berichten te kijken. In de engelse handleiding staat wel hoe ik dat moet doen, maar blijkbaar doe ik iets verkeerd. Want telkens ik naar menu ga kom ik niet verder dan een nummer opslaan (wat niet gaat) daarna de ringtoon en daarna het uur en datum. Hopelijk is er toch iemand die mij verder kan helpen.     • ondertussen heb ik alles gevonden en wil dit zeggen. Dat symbool die je krijgt wil zeggen dat je je simkaart eerst moet activeren in een gewone gsm. Dat heb ik ook moeten doen. Je stopt je simkaart in een gewone, andere gsm en dan gaat deze je vragen om het uur en datum aan te passen dat doe je, je slaat alles op, legt de gsm af en neemt het kaartje er uit en steekt het terug in easy use gsm en alles gaat vanzelf.       Er is een Easyuse handleiding beschikbaar in diverse talen ook in het Nederlands met alle nodige gegevens. De leverancier van je toestel kan die toesturen cq jou het adres geven waar je het kan bestellen. Als je jou mailadres aan mij geeft kan ik, wil ik je de gegevens die je nodig hebt wel toesturen. Lijkt dit je wat?
