connecting
the
sewing
machine
to
an
electrical
supply
ensure
that
the
voltage
marked
on
the
rating
label
of
the
machine
is
the
correct
voltage
for
your
electrical
supply.
If
it
is
not,
do
not
use
the
machine
but
refer
back
to
your
dealer.
Connecting
to
your
Electricity
supply
The
sewing
machine
has
a
flexible
two
core
mains
lead
permanently
connected
to
the
foot
control.
At
the
free
end
of
the
lead
a
suitable
plug
should
be
fitted.
Important
The
wires
in
the
mains
lead
of
this
appliance
are
coloured
in
accordance
with
the
following
code:
BLUE:
NEUTRAL
BROWN:
LIVE
As
the
colours
of
the
wires
in
the
mains
lead
of
this
appliance
may
not
corres
pond
with
the
coloured
markings
identifying
the
terminals
in
your
plug,
proceed
as
follows:
The
wire
which
is
coloured
blue
must
be
connected
to
the
terminal
which
is
marked
with
the
letter

or
coloured
black.
The
wire

is

brown

ventilating

the
blades
get
blunt,
it

cause
the
material
