Getting started
Target users
This scale is designed for measuring user's weight and body fat percentage in everyday life.
This device is not suitable for individuals with an implanted medical device, such as a
pacemaker or cochlear implant, or for pregnant women.
The fat percentage of patients who have fever, suer from osteoporosis or oedema, or use an
articial kidney, and of people who work in the tness industry is dierent to that of ordinary
people. Measured data is for reference only.
Due to physiological reasons, users aged 18 and below and users aged 65 and above can
only measure their weight and heart rate.
Powering on and entering standby mode
Open the battery cover on the back of the scale and install the battery properly, then close
the battery cover. The scale will power on automatically and get ready for Bluetooth pairing.
The scale's screen will turn o and enter standby mode automatically if you have not used
the scale for a long time. Step on your scale to wake it up.
Pairing and connecting
1Search for and download the latest version of the Huawei Health app from AppGallery or
other app stores. If you have installed the Huawei Health app on your phone, update it to
the latest version.
2Open the Huawei Health app, go to Devices > ADD > Scales, and select your scale name.
3Touch PAIR and follow the onscreen instructions to step on the scale and make sure that
the LED indicator on the scale lights up to wake up the device.
The Bluetooth icon on the scale will blink to indicate that a Bluetooth connection has
not been established and the device is ready for pairing.
4Touch Next. The Huawei Health app will automatically detect available Bluetooth devices.
Touch the scale name to start pairing. A message on the screen will indicate that the
Bluetooth pairing was successful.
5Touch Next, conrm user information, and connect the scale to a Wi-Fi network.

Pair your band with a phone running Android 5.0, or later, or iOS 9.0 or later.
To make sure that all the features of the scale work properly, open the Huawei Health
app and grant the corresponding permissions for your scale when pairing it with your
phone for the rst time.
Make sure that you ll in your correct gender, age, and height, since incorrect
information may aect the measurement data. If you have entered your data
incorrectly, the scale may fail to measure your body fat percentage or measure your
data inaccurately.
After connecting your scale to a Wi-Fi network, the measured data can be
automatically uploaded to the cloud and pushed to the Huawei Health app for display.
If you skip connecting your scale to a Wi-Fi network when pairing your scale in the
Huawei Health app, you can do it later by touching Connect to Wi-Fi on the device
details screen. When the scale is not connected to a Wi-Fi network, oine measured
data cannot be synced to the Huawei Health app..
Connecting the scale to a Wi-Fi network
When connecting your scale to your phone using the Huawei Health app, follow the onscreen
instructions in the app to connect your scale to a Wi-Fi network.
If you skip connecting your scale to a Wi-Fi network when pairing your scale in the Huawei
Health app, you can do it later by performing the following:
1Open the Huawei Health app, touch Devices and then touch the connected scale.
2Touch Auto-sync, follow the onscreen instructions to select the Wi-Fi, and enter the
corresponding password.
3You will become the admin of the scale after connecting the scale to a Wi-Fi network.
The scale can only be connected to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi.
The scale does not support PMF or WPA3 encryption. Check that PMF and WPA3 are
not enabled on the router.
We recommend that you do not hide broadcast packets, set MAC address ltering, or
congure the blocklist or trustlist.
You are advised to disable the anti-spoong feature on your router.
Adding users, deleting users, and editing user
information
This feature is not supported in areas where HUAWEI Cloud is not available.

1Open the Huawei Health app and touch the Weight card.
2Touch the prole picture in the upper right corner, go to Manage users > Add, and follow
the onscreen instructions to add users. Then touch in the top-right corner to to
complete the process.
A maximum of 10 users can be added.
Make sure that you ll in your correct gender, age, and height, since incorrect
information may aect the measurement data. If you have entered your data
incorrectly, the measured data may be inaccurate.
Editing user information:
On the Manage users screen, select the name of the user to edit information such as the
gender, date of birth, height, and weight.
Deleting users:
On the Manage users screen, select the name of the user and touch DELETE USER. Then
touch OK.
Indicator and display
LED indicator Note
Startup status. After the battery is installed, the scale
automatically powers on and displays "8888".
Weight-measurement icon. It is displayed when measuring
weight.
Body fat percentage icon. It is displayed when measuring
body fat percentage.
Heart rate icon. It is displayed when measuring heart rate.
The Bluetooth icon will blink to indicate that a Bluetooth
connection has not been established and the device is
ready for pairing.
The Bluetooth icon will light up to indicate that the device
has been paired via Bluetooth.
This is the Wi-Fi icon. When the scale is connected
properly, this icon will be displayed in white. When it is not
connected properly, this icon will be displayed in orange.
The scale is updating.
The scale has updated successfully.

Starting a measurement
Setting weight goals
You can set your weight goal in the Huawei Health app, then the app will remind you to
reach your goal.
Open the Huawei Health app, go to Me > Settings > Goals, slide to select your desired
weight goal, and touch SAVE.
Once you have set your goal, the Huawei Health app will display the weight dierence to
your goal in the scale settings screen.
Setting weight unit
You can set the weight unit for your scale in the Huawei Health app. It is currently possible to
select lbs or kg as the weight unit.
Open the Huawei Health app, touch Devices and touch the connected scale. Touch Scale
unit and set the unit to kg or lbs.
Starting a measurement
Starting a measurement using the Huawei Health app (The scale has been connected to
the Huawei Health app via Bluetooth.)
1Open the Huawei Health app and follow the onscreen instructions to start a
measurement.
On the Health screen, touch the Weight card, and check that the prole picture in the
upper right corner belongs to the current user. Touch Measure and follow the onscreen
instructions to step on the scale.
Touch Devices and select your device name. Touch START and follow the onscreen
instructions to step on the scale.
2After the measurement is complete, you can view the results in the Huawei Health app.
You can view measured data of multiple body indicators, including weight, body mass
index (BMI), body fat percentage, skeletal muscle mass, basal metabolic rate, body water
percentage, bone mineral content, and protein.
Starting a measurement directly (Start a measurement when the scale has been connected
to Wi-Fi but not connected to the Huawei Health app via Bluetooth.)
1Step on the scale barefoot and stand upright.
2Your scale will rst measure your weight and will blink three times before displaying a
xed reading. The scale will then measure other tness data such as your fat percentage
(when is lit up) and your heart rate (when is lit up). If you do not need to measure
your body fat percentage and heart rate, step o the scale in advance.

3After the measurement is complete, the data will sync to the phone automatically once
the scale is connected to the Huawei Health app.
You can view the data in the Huawei Health app, including weight, body mass index
(BMI), body fat percentage, skeletal muscle mass, basal metabolic rate, body water
percentage, bone mineral content, and protein.
To ensure accurate heart rate data, start measuring when you are feeling calm.
Place the scale on a solid and at oor. Do not place your scale against the wall. Make
sure that there are no foreign objects on the feet of the scale, the feet of the scale are
not placed in the brick seams, and the scale is not lifted. When moving the scale, do
not drag or kick it.
Wear light clothing, step barefoot on the scale, and then hold the handle securely.
Stand upright and balanced during the measurement. Do not move your body or feet.
Measuring multiple users
The scale can only be paired with one phone at one time.
The user who connects the scale to a Wi-Fi network will become the admin of the
scale.
Pairing another phone with the scale
1Open the Huawei Health app, go to Devices > ADD > Scales, and select your scale name.
2After both devices are paired, follow the onscreen instructions to send the auto-sync
request to the admin. After the admin conrms the request in the Huawei Health app, the
data will be synced to the phone using the connected Wi-Fi.
When starting a measurement using the Huawei Health app, open the app, touch the
Weight card, and touch Measure.
When using the scale directly to start a measurement, your scale will identify the
current user and send the data to the Huawei Health app.
Adding users in the Huawei Health app
This feature is not supported in areas where HUAWEI Cloud is not available.
1Open the Huawei Health app and touch the Weight card.
2Touch Weight, go to Manage users > Add, and follow the onscreen instructions to add
users. Then touch in the upper right corner.
3When a user wants to start a measurement using the Huawei Health app, open the app,
touch the Weight card, touch the prole picture in the upper right corner, and touch the
user's nickname. Then start the measurement.

Checking and conrming data
If or is displayed, it indicates that the current measured data is similar to other
records. If or is displayed, it indicates that the scale cannot identify who the user is.
You can perform the following steps to check and conrm your weight data:
1Open the Huawei Health app, touch Devices and then touch the connected scale.
2Touch Unclaimed data to check and conrm your weight data.
If the dierence is less than 2 kg when the weight is under 80 kg, user information
conict occurs. If the dierence is less than 3 kg when the weight is over 80 kg, user
information conict occurs.
Adding data manually
You can manually add your weight and body fat percentage.
Open the Huawei Health app, go to Me > My data > Weight > Add record, or touch the
Weight card and Create a record to add the weight and body fat percentage of the current
user.
The initial value in the Weight card refers to the value measured for the rst time after a
target is set. If you change the weight goal, the initial value will change to the latest
measured or manually added weight data.
Viewing measured data
You are able to view previously measured data in the Huawei Health app.
Open the Huawei Health app, touch the Weight card, and touch your prole picture in the
upper right corner. You can view your latest results, including data about your weight, body
fat percentage, and skeletal muscle mass. You can also check your daily, weekly, and
monthly data.
The initial value in the Weight card refers to the value measured for the rst time after
a target is set. If the target weight is changed, the initial value will change to the
weight data that is latest measured or manually added.
A maximum of 512 groups of historical data can be stored in the Weight card.
Select the nickname of the user whose data you want to view and touch History to view
the data. Touch a specic data set to view the detailed information of all indicators and a
body tness report.

Sharing data
Open the Huawei Health app, touch the Weight card, touch Share in the lower right corner,
or touch History, select the data you want to share, and touch Share in the upper right
corner to share the data to WeChat friends, WeChat Moments, or Sina Weibo, or save the
data in your phone.

Unpairing the scale from your phone
For Android users:
Open the Huawei Health app, touch Devices and then touch the connected scale. Go to >
Unpair device to unpair the scale from your phone.
For iOS users:
Open the Huawei Health app, touch Device and nd the connected scale, swipe left on the
scale name and touch Delete. Then on your phone, go to Settings > Bluetooth and ignore
the scale.
You can log in to the Huawei Health app using your new HUAWEI ID and pair your
phone with the scale again. The original pairing will be removed in the background.
Changing the administrator
The user who connects the scale to a Wi-Fi network will become the admin of the scale.
1Unpair the scale from the phone or restore the scale to the factory settings.
Unpairing the scale from your phone:
Open the Huawei Health app, go to the scale settings screen, go to > Unpair device
to unpair the scale from the phone.
Restoring the scale to its factory settings:
Open the battery cover of the scale, hold the reset button for three seconds until the
scale screen displays "8888" and "0.00 kg" in sequence, then pair the scale with the
phone again.
2Pairing the scale with the phone again.
aOpen the Huawei Health app, go to Devices > ADD > Scales, and select your scale
name. Touch PAIR and follow the onscreen instructions to step on the scale for waking
up the scale.
bTouch your scale name and follow the onscreen instructions in the app to pair both
devices and set up your personal information.
3Connect the scale to a Wi-Fi network to become the admin.
After you have added your account to the scale in the Huawei Health app, connect the
scale to a Wi-Fi network, you will then become the admin of the scale.
Restoring the scale to its factory settings
After restoring your scale to its factory settings, user information and data on the scale
will be cleared. Exercise caution before performing this operation.

Method 1: Open the Huawei Health app, touch Devices, touch the scale name to enter the
device details screen, and touch Restore factory settings.
Method 2: Open the battery cover of the scale and press and hold the Reset button for three
seconds.
Only the administrator can restore the scale to its factory settings.
To restore the factory settings, the scale should be connected to the Huawei Health
app. (You can also step on the scale to activate it and connect it to the Huawei Health
app.)
Viewing the Serial Number
You can view the Serial Number (SN) on the package or on the rear side of the scale.
Updating the scale
1Open the Huawei Health app, touch Devices, and touch the scale name to enter the
device settings screen. Make sure that the scale on the screen is displayed as connected.
2Touch Firmware update to view the current system version of your scale.
3Touch Check for updates and your phone will search for available updates. If available
updates are found, follow the onscreen instructions to update your scale. If there is no
available update, it indicates that it is the latest version of your scale.
Only the administrator can update the scale.
On the Firmware update screen, touch the Settings icon in the upper right corner and
enable Auto-update over Wi-Fi. When your phone is connected to a Wi-Fi network,
the scale will automatically update.
Do not step on the scale, press the scale, or remove the batteries during an update.
The maintenance
Keep the device free from dust and oil stains. Use the device in a ventilated and dry
environment to prevent it from getting rusty.
The scale is a measurement tool and you are advised to clean it periodically. Remove the
battery if you do not use it for a long time.
We recommend that you place the scale in a dry environment and away from strong
sunlight and dust.
Do not uninstall or remove components during daily use.

The scale is made of glass, and any glass fragments produced by damage during use may
cause injuries. If this happens, step o the scale carefully and avoid touching the glass
with your bare hands or feet. If other parts of the device are damaged, do not touch or
attempt to remove the damaged parts. You are advised to contact an authorised Huawei
