When you bring back the number of periods per day from 6 to 4, the settings for
VERTREKKEN 1 and THUISKOMEN 2, then the settings of VERTREKKEN 1 and
THUISKOMEN 2 will automatically be copied to VERTREKKEN and THUISKOMEN.
Deleting your whole personal program
If you wish to delete your whole personal program, please follow these steps:
Press buttons MORGEN ALS ZONDAG and START PROGRAMMA and keep them
pressed for five seconds. In the display every segment in the display will light up. As soon
as the factory-settings of the period OPSTAAN of the current day appear in the display,
you can let go of the buttons.
Press START PROGRAMMA once. The Chronotherm IV will now work according to
the factory settings.
Now you can program your thermostat anew.
Please note: if you have changed from four to six periods per day, this change will not
be cancelled during this action.
READING THE TEMPERATURE AND CHECKING YOUR SETTINGS
You can always quickly check what temperature at a certain moment has been set. This is
possible with both temporary temperature-settings and programmed settings.
Please note: during the heating-season the temperature-setting may be shown blinking.
This may happen when the thermostat, after an economy-phase, is moving into warming-
up for the next phase. You will then see the programmed settings if the next comfort-
period, which hasn’t been reached yet.
Checking the temperature-setting
Press button “I (information)” once. For four seconds, the display will show the set
temperature with the indication “Instelling”. Afterwards the current temperature comes
back in the display.
Checking the period-settings
Press button “Dag” until the abbreviation of theday appears in the display, of which you
want to check the settings.
Then press the button of the period of which you want to change the settings.
Repeat the actions mentioned above if you wish to check more settings.
To let the thermostat resume its program, press button START PROGRAMMA once.
The display will show the time, room temperature, as well as the current day and period.
Reading the outside temperature
Please note: this function is only active if the matching outside temperature-sensor has
been installed and when it has been activated in the installers-program.
