1. PROGRAMMING YOUR THERMOSTAT
You can program your Chronotherm IV either mounted on the wall plate or holding it in
your hand. The first step to make your thermostat ready for use is to program the right day
of the week, the time and the selection of Summer- or Wintertime. After this, you can
either make the device run according to the pre-programmed factory settings or you can
program your own settings. Before programming your own settings, you have to decide
whether you want to use 4 or six different periods per day. To make it easier on yourself,
it helps to write down your settings before programming.
BEWARE: only press the buttons with the tip of your finger. Sharp objects such as a
pencil may damage the buttons!
Programming the right day, time and Summer- or Wintertime
1. Press “Invoer dag/tijd”.
In the display the indications TIME, ZO or WI appear, MA and the time.
2. Press button “Day” so often till you see in the bottom of the display the abbreviation
for the right day.
3. Press buttons “Up” and “Down” (right of the display) to select the right hour.
Press buttons “Vooruit” and “Terug” to select the right minutes for the time.
Press “I” (right of the display) to set the seconds on “00”.
Selecting Summer- or Wintertime
In the left top corner of the display Summer- or Wintertime is indicated.
Press, if necessary, “Zomertijd/Wintertijd” to select the right season.
Acknowledging the new settings
Press “Start Programma” once. Settings for day and time are now activated. In the
display, time, day, room temperature and current period are being shown.
Until your personal program has been entered, the Chronotherm IV works according to
the factory settings. Now you can also program your personal settings.
The factory settings
These are the factory settings of the Chronotherm IV:
Period: Monday to Friday Saturday and Sunday
RISING 7:00 hrs 19° C 8:00 hrs 19° C
SLEEP 22:30 hrs 15° C 23:00 hrs 15° C
