Timer
The timer can be set to 1, 2, or 4 hours. lf none of these timer settings is selected, the ionic
air purier will run continuously, which is generally best. lf you are running the sanitizer on
a high setting in a small area while you are gone, then you may want to use the timer to
prevent the ozone level from reaching excessively high levels.
CLEANING ANd MAINTENANCE
In order to keep the unit at its optimal working condition, it is highly recommended to follow
the following procedure once every two months:
Since the pre-lter (once the lter box is removed this is the rst lter seen with blue colour),
usually accumulates dust particles, it should be cleaned by using a cleaning brush or it can
be vacuumed. To do this, turn the unit off, open the front cover and remove the lter. If the
lter compartment seems very dirty you can wipe it out with a damp cloth before replacing
the lter. Also if the air inlets and the air outlet shows some sign of dust build up, they can be
vacuumed as well for proper air ow.
Replacing the Filter Cartridge
1. Turn the unit off and open the front cover. If the white (HEPA) side of the lter cartridge
is dark gray in colour, proceed to the next step.
2. Remove the old lter and throw it away. Remove the wrapping from the new lter
cartridge, and place the new lter in its proper position.
3. Put the front cover back on making sure that it is properly inserted and locked by
aligning the two tabs at the bottom, and press rmly to lock.
Replacing the UV Bulb
1. Turn the unit off and open the front cover. Remove the air lter cartridge.
2. Remove the expired UV lamp and replace it with the new UV lamp. Handle the UV lamp
on each end in order to avoid breaking the lamp.
3. Press the lamp into the UV lamp slot, so that the metal pins at each end of the UV bulb
are rmly in contact with the metal conductors inside each clamp. Close the plastic
clamps over the lamp on each side.
4. Place the lter back in its compartment, and put the front cover back on. The air purier
is now ready for operation again.
