REARWARD FACING FOR GROUP 1 (ISOFIX only)

Firstly you must install the car seat base into your vehicle using
the ISOFIX-points. See section ‘Installing the base - using the
ISOFIX points’.
You must also ensure that the harness and headrest is set cor
rectly for your child, to do this see sections ‘Headrest and Safety
Harness Adjustment’ and ‘Harness Tension and Adjustment’.
The car seat includes a seat liner and head hugger (C1) for the
small baby.
The liner has a cushion inserted in a pocket on the back of the
linerwhichissuitableforchildrenuptoapprox9Kgor12months.

INSTALLING THE CAR SEAT INTO THE BASE FULLY
RECLINED
Firstly make sure that the seat is in its fully reclined position, then
placethecarseatontothebasefacingtowardstherearofthe
vehicleandpressthecarseatdownuntilyouheara“click”(9).
Checktheseatissecurebyliftingtheseatupwards.
To remove the car seat from the base, at the same time press the
carseatreleasebutton(Y)whileliftingthecarseatupfromthe
base (10, 11).
INSTALLING YOUR CHILD IN THE CAR SEAT
Firstly open the buckle by pressing the red button in the centre of
the buckle (27). Then sit your child in the car seat, passing their
arms through the shoulder straps.
Bring the harness connectors together and insert into the buckle
untilyouheara“click”(28).
Tighten the harness by pulling on the harness adjustment strap
(29),oncetightmakesurethatthereisnomorethanangers
widthbetweentheharnessandyourchild.
The child’s head should sit directly in the middle of the headrest
and the sides of the headrest should sit just above the child’s
shoulders,andtheshoulderstrapsshouldbelevelwithorbelow
your child’s shoulders (25, 26).
