Problem Solution
Screen color unexpectedly changes
mode (DAY > NIGHT or NIGHT > DAY)
Color Mode is set to AUTO. Change
the Color Mode to desired mode in
the SETTINGS menu (see Color Mode,
on page 28)
No sound from built-in speaker
Unplug headphones (speaker
mutes when headphones are
connected); turn volume control
up (see Volume/Brightness control,
on page 6)
Navigation map does not stay
zoomed to desired distance
Unlock Map Screen — map reverts
to default zoom level after 3 sec-
onds when screen is locked

GPS-910/GPS-810 will not connect
with your Bluetooth® phone
Make sure that your phone’s
Bluetooth mode is turned ON;
Turn the GPS-910/GPS-810 fully off
and on. Touch the SOURCE>PHONE>
MANAGE CONNECTION>CONNECT
PHONE buttons. See Using With a
Bluetooth Phone, on page 26.
Unable to Voice Dial Bluetooth®
phone using GPS-910/GPS-810’s
built-in microphone
Attach GPS-910/GPS-810 to mount-
ing bracket and connect optional
GPS-MIC hands-free microphone.
GPS-910/GPS-810 unexpectedly
goes into self-demonstration mode
Demo Video mode is set to ON.

Static or loss of clarity in sound
when using GPS-910/GPS-810’s
FM transmitter
The vehicle’s FM radio frequency
contains static. Find a quiet FM
frequency on your vehicle’s FM
radio and set the GPS-910/GPS-
810’s FM transmitter to match it.

No sound when using GPS-910/
