Aim of the game
Whoever has a good memory and some luck at rolling the die, will build
the tallest tower and win the game.
Preparation of the Game
The wooden towers and the die are placed in the center of the table.
Each player gets a little bag. Extra bags are put aside.
Watch out! If only two people are playing, special rules apply. First read
the regular instructions and then the variation for two players.
How to Play
The player who lives on the highest floor, may start. If you cannot agree
the youngest player starts and rolls the die.
What appears on the die?
• The crown
Free choice of towers! Choose any of the towers in the center, show it
to the other players and put it inside the bag.
• One of the five tower colors?
Now you have two options:
1. You can take a tower of the corresponding color from the center
and put it into your bag; or
2. You can ask another player for a tower of the corresponding color.
This player looks inside their bag to see if they have it.
→ If they have a tower of that color, they have to give it to you.
→ If they have two or more towers of that color, they can choose
which one to hand over.
→ If they don’t have a tower of that color, unlucky for you!
To prove it, the player you asked has to show you – and only you –
the contents of their bag.
Important: Additionally, as a penalty, you have to give any
tower from your bag to this player. If you don’t have any yet,
obviously you can’t give one.
Then moving in a clockwise direction, it’s the next player’s turn to roll the
die.
