Watch out! You may not uncover the halves.
As soon as a player thinks they have found the right half they
quickly put their hand on it. But maybe they are wrong! The
other players keep on searching.
Important: Each player may only put their hand on one half and
must keep it there until the checking is done.
Once all players have covered a piece or when they agree that
the right piece has been found, checking is done.
• A player has found the right half?
They may move their sandman on one moon.
• No player has found the right half?
The first player can move their sandman on a moon.
Then all 10 pieces are covered again and shuffled well. Now the
following player in a clockwise direction is the new first player to
uncover a half piece of a moon.
End of the Game
As soon as a sandman reaches the last moon, the game is over.
The corresponding player has won the moon-rally and is the qui-
ckest sandman of all times.

3. The Moon-Rally
Who will be the quickest in finding the matching halves of the
moons?
A game of reaction for 3 - 5 lightening moon-kids ages 5+.
Preparation of the Game
Uncover 5 full moons, shuffle these 10
halves and put them into the center
of the table.
Arrange the remaining four halves
face up into a row.
Each player chooses a sandman and puts it
in front of the first piece of the row of moons.
Remaining sandmen and the die are kept in the box.
How to Play
Whoever got up earliest in the morning may start. If you can not
agree the tallest player starts.
You are the first player. Uncover one of the halves making sure
that all the other players can look at it at the same time.
Now it will get turbulent! All players, except the first player,
search simultaneously and as quickly as they can for the mat-
ching half.
