Mount-on contact (A-2922-0):
For connecting to doors and win-
dows. The mount-on contact con-
sists of a permanent magnet and a
reed contact. The contact is open
when the magnet is in contact. An
alarm signal is signalled if the
magnet is separated from the
contact. Use the signal cable to
connect the mount-on contact to the
Radio Multi-Channel Transmitter
(alarm accessories socket).
Call button
Pressing the call button on the Radio
Multi-Channel Transmitter causes a
signal to be triggered on every recei-
ver which is set to the same radio
channel as the transmitter. The call
button lamp lights up to indicate
this. This makes it possible to call
people who are in different rooms.
Also, this button can be used for
checking the system is functioning
even when the alarme accessories
are not connected.
Mains operation
You can also operate your Radio
Multi-Channel Transmitter via the
plug-in power supply unit. To
connect the PSU, insert the connec-
tor on the end of the PSU cable into
the corresponding socket on the left-
hand side of the device. Then plug
the power supply unit into the nor-
mal 230 V socket in your house.
Please note:
A separate socket must be used for
the smoke detector.
This socket is marked with a flame.
Available accessories
Alarm mat (A-2921-0):
Connect the plug from the alarm mat
directly into the socket in the Radio
Multi-Channel Transmitter (alarm
accessories socket). Place the alarm
mat under the doormat.
Alarm call button (A-2935-0):
Connect the plug from the alarm call
button directly into the socket in the
Radio Multi-Channel Transmitter
(alarm accessories socket). The
alarm signal is triggered by pressing
the button (e.g. from the patient’s
bed).
Smoke detector (A-2926-0):
The smoke detector is triggered by
smoke from smouldering fires and
signals an alarm. Attach it to the
ceiling of the room to be monitored
and use the signal cable to connect
the smoke detector to the Radio
Multi-Channel Transmitter (socket
for smoke alarm sensor).
