General information
The
RF Repeater
significantly
increases the range of
lisa
RF trans-
mitters; it can be used to double the
range of the original signal. In addi-
tion, it can improve reception for
critical transmission path situations,
such as in steel-reinforced buildings
or environments with a lot of other
radio traffic.
How it works
The
RF Repeater
is able to pick up
the signals sent by all the
lisa
RF
transmitters within range and set to
the same channel. When a signal is
received, the
RF Repeater
repeats
the signal and transmits it for 15
seconds. Since
lisa
RF transmitters
transmit their signals for 25 se-
conds, the
RF Repeater
pauses for
15 seconds after transmitting its sig-
nal to avoid receiving and sending
the same signal again. After this
pause, the
RF Repeater
is ready to
receive the next signal.
Examples of applications
First-time operation –
1. Mains operation
The device can be operated plugged
into the regular power supply or fit-
ted with a battery. However, in order
to avoid a malfunction of the device
