Programming the video recorder
Do not forget to pre-programme your video recorder accordingly for the timer
recording.
Important!
The satellite receiver and the video recorder must be in standby and the
»AV« programme position must be selected on the video recorder.
About 30 seconds before the start time of a timer recording is reached, a
message reminding you of the timer recording appears on the picture screen.
Please select.
When the start time of the timer is reached, all menus disappear from the pic-
ture screen and you will see the TV picture of the programme being recorded.

rcd
« (= record) appears in the satellite receiver’s display signalling you
that a timer recording has been started.
– While a timer recording is running, all button functions of the satellite receiver,
except the standby button »

«, are locked.
Cancelling a running timer recording
1 Press the »
Ǽ
« (standby) button.
– A dialogue box appears on the picture screen.
2 If desired, select »Yes« using the »
P+, P-
« buttons then confirm with
»OK«.
– The current timer recording is cancelled and the satellite receiver is
switched in standby.
3 Switch the satellite receiver on using any button on the remote control.
– The last selected programme appears on the picture screen.
