Controls
General information
CD TAPE/OFF Switches between the CD, TAPE and RADIO input sources.
RADIO Switches off the device.
ON Operation indicator. Lights up red during operation.
VOLUME Adjusts the volume.
UBS Switches the Ultra Bass System on and off.
0 Headphone jack for connecting a headphone set with a jack plug
(ø 3.5 mm) on the left side of the device.
This automatically switches off the loudspeakers.
AC~ Socket for connecting the power cord (on the back of the device).
Radio unit
ANTENNA Telescopic antenna for FM (VHF) reception.
MW/FM Frequency band switch MW (medium wave) and FM (VHF).
TUNING For tuning to radio stations.
FM STEREO Stereo indicator. Lights up green when an FM stereo station is
received.
FM MODE Switches between mono and stereo reception (on the back of the
MONO/STEREO device).
CD unit
OPEN/CLOSE Opens and closes the CD compartment.
ALBUM-UP In MP3 mode: selects the next album during playback or program-
ming. Selects the first file of the next album.
REPEAT In MP3 mode: for repeating a files or track, all the files on an album
or the entire CD.
In CD-DA mode: for repeating a track or the entire CD.
ALBUM-DOWN In MP3 mode: selects the previous album during playback or
programming. Selects the first file of the previous album.
PROGRAM In MP3 and CD-DA mode: for creating a track memory.
F-SKIP/F.FW
9 In MP3 and CD-DA mode: press briefly to select
R-SKIP/F.RW 8 a file, album or track.
Hold down to search for a particular passage.
STOP

In MP3 and CD-DA mode: ends CD playback.
Deletes the track memory for the CD.
PLAY/PAUSE
