Sound settings in Dolby mode
1 Call up the Dialog Center using the »Menu« button then select the »S«
menu using the »

« or »

« button.
2 Select the »Surround set up« row using the »
SS
« button then press the »

button to activate the function. The surround set-up-menu appears.
3 Select »Rear speaker« »YES « or »NO using the »
aa
« or »
ss
« button.
4 Select »Surround test « using the »
SS
« button then press the »
ss
« button to
activate the function.
The screen for adjusting the loudspeaker volume levels appears.
You hear a noise (= test signal) from the loudspeakers.
According to the connected loudspeakers, the test signal is emitted in the
following order:
Left front loudspeaker, centre loudspeaker, right front loudspeaker, right
surround loudspeaker, left surround loudspeaker.
The cursor bar indicates which loudspeakers are currently emitting the test
signal. As long as the cursor bar is highlighted by a white background, the
volume of the respective loudspeaker can be changed. Adjust the same
volume for all loudspeakers. The volume of the front loudspeakers cannot be
changed in this menu.
5 Adjust the volume of the respective loudspeaker using the »
aa
« or »
ss
« but-
ton.
6 Select »Delay time« using the »
SS
« button then press the »
ss
« button to acti-
vate the function. The Delay time sub-menu appears.
The delay time must be adjusted if your sitting position is closer to the rear
loudspeakers than to the front loudspeakers, that is, the sound from the rear
loudspeakers reaches your ears earlier than the sound from the front loud-
speakers.
7 Adjust the delay time using the »
aa
« or »
ss
« button.
8 Press the »Exit« button to end the setting.
