Bandwidth (BW)
1 With the 50µs (50US) and J17 de-emphasis settings, you can choose between 4 bandwidth
settings (BW 1 … BW 4) using the »

Decide depending on which one sounds better to you.
For the PANDA de-emphasis setting, the bandwidth BW 1 is factory set.

Video polarity
Satellites transmit with different video amplitude. This requires an appropriate contrast setting on the
receiver.
The correct contrast levels are factory set.
1 If required, or when re-programming, you can choose between contrast level »
{
+1« and
»
{
+2« for each channel position.
The contrast levels »
{
– 1« and »
{
– 2 « have no function in this satellite receiver.
You can set a positive ”
+” or negative ”– ” video polarity.
The ”
+” setting is pre-programmed.
For some decoders, you may need the ”
– ” setting.
In some exceptional cases you can change the values of the contrast settings, see page 33, section
“Presetting the contrast levels” in the »Basic set-up« sub-menu chapter.
