Camcorder
Connecting the camcorder
1 Connect the »Y CVBS« socket of the television and the corresponding sock-
et of the camcorder (VHS/Video 8) using cinch cables (video signal).
Connect the white and red »LINE IN CVBS/YUV« sockets on the televi-
sion and the corresponding sockets of the camcorder with a cinch cable
(audio signal).

2 Connect the »S-VIDEO« socket of the television and the corresponding
sockets of the camcorder (S-Video/Hi 8) with S-VHS cinch cables (video sig-
nal).
Connect the white and red »LINE IN S-VIDEO« sockets on the television
and the corresponding sockets of the camcorder with a cinch cable (audio
signal).
Operation with a camcorder
1 Switch on the camcorder, insert a cassette and start playback.
2 Select a preset station for the camcorder, then keep pressing »Z« until the
message »CVBS« (VIDEO) or »S-VIDEO« appears.
– You will see the picture and hear the sound of the camcorder on the tele-
vision.
